Palm Court Grill at The Davenport Hotel
I love starting my symphony evening at the Palm Court. My biggest issue is that I always use my STCU card and should get one entree free and they have only done that one of the many times I’ve gone there. They need to train the wait staff better regarding this STCU benefit.
As usual, the food, service, and entire dining experience were outstanding. Working our way through the menu and nothing has disappointed.
Great Night! Was seated by the fireplace and Mary was an excellent server.
Always a great place to have dinner before the Spokane Symphony!
The food was delicious. The Halibut is the best I have ever had. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates fine dining.
Great food in a beautiful setting.
Came for a birthday dinner. food was great, but service was VERY lacking. Had to keep asking for things: bread, more butter, etc. Ordered coffee with dessert that never showed up, so we had it taken off the menu, but we would have rather liked to have it WITH our dessert! how hard can that be? Coffee should be ready to serve!
Good food if “spendy”. Lovely setting in historic hotel. Close to theaters making dinner prior to events handy. Good selection of seafood and steak, best roasted chicken I have ever eaten.
Service was so poor. Grew up in Spokane. Recommended Spokane to others. This service made me ashamed to ever recommend the restaurant or to reference it to the City.
Excellent. The crab cocktail is a must have!
It was a beautiful location, and even being a few minutes late for our reservation, our table wasn't just given away to the first person who showed up. I will be making this my go to location if I ever have to host something nice for somebody.
Service was great. Food was awful. Super disappointing...
What a wonderful meal! Such a lovely place !
Excellent from start to finish
The food was good and the service was fine, but the ambiance in the back of the restaurant was terrible, with tables that were too close and glaring overhead lights.
Not as private as we had hoped. The tables are basically in the lobby, separated or roped off offering little privacy. Hotel guests Walk by tables, stand at the second floor landing and look down while you’re eating often taking pics if the fountain. Our table was a few feet away from the fountain and next to the hallway leading to the restrooms, so there was constant noise and distractions through our entire meal. For the price we paid, I would like to have seen booths for each table offering some small level of privacy.
My guest and I went to an early dinner at the Palm Court after the symphony. Always happy to take advantage of their half priced wine bottles during happy hour. Great service and nice to sit in main lobby area near fireplace. My guest ordered the crab and pasta dish. It had a generous amount of crab meat. Sauce was bland to my taste but she enjoyed it. I ordered the sautéed shrimp dish. Asked for no green bell peppers but came with them anyway. Again, sauce was a bland. The bread service is good but wished they offered more rustic bread or sour sour versions.
We love going to the Historic Davenport. My husbands prime rib was outstanding.
Wonderful food, specialty drinks are amazing, and staff is extremely helpful. I can’t wait to go back!
Great food and cocktails. We often sit in the lobby by the fireplace which can be a little noisy. Service is often slow.
Great steaks and wonderful service.
The way they plate the food is just lovely...only to be upstaged by how it all tastes. We had a perfect birthday celebration.
Super nice manager. Great food! Love it
Food is over the top. Wait staff is kind and attentive.
The Palm Court Grill at the Historic Davenport Hotel is so beautiful and glamorous. I love the ambiance of stepping back 100 years in time to glimpse a moment of luxurious history.
Awesome service and bartender fantastic. The best place in Spokane.
Overpriced, undercooked, pasta... almost zero attention from server.
Very nice decor and atmosphere for a New Year's eve dinner. Appreciated the helpfulness when making the dinner reservation. Food quality was very good, but a little disappointed that when we came back at 9:00PM for dessert and coffee that it was already closed for the evening. Must be difficult to find help these days.
I wanted a special after Christmas breakfast for my daughter, son-in-law and 2 grandchidren, aged 5-1/2 and 3, who came from Southern California for Christmas. We had a table in the lobby next to the fireplace. Everything was ready when we arrived. The waiter was at our table immediately and asked if we would like drinks before we decided on our food choices. Then, the children had an opportunity to explore the 2nd floor. It was magical. We ordered our food and the waiter gratiously divided up the childrens' choices. We were not rushed. All of the adults ordered a breakfast dish with fresh crab - huge chunks and so fresh - just delicious. All of the food choices were well prepared and presented and abundant. It was a special Holiday family time that all of us will remember and try to make an event when family is in town. And, we were able to park our cars at no charge in the covered parking garage - nice bonus. I highly recommend the Davenport for a celebration at anytime of the year, but it is especially grand during the Christmas Holiday season!
We reserved our table ahead of time and were super excited to have Christmas dinner in the lobby. We ended up way in the back side of the restaurant in a Dennys type environment. Our server did not have time to refill our drinks she was so busy. Food was not good and cold. We were not happy.
The Palm Court Grill during the holiday season is the best place to be in Spokane--we love the energy, the ambience, the parade of people in an absolutely perfect holiday setting. Yes, I would and have always recommended the Davenport and the Palm Court Grill to friends, family, and strangers on the street.
Wonderful Christmas dinner by the fireplace at the Palm Court.
reservation was for 4 pm but were not seted until 30 min later - possible overbooking
A very festive atmosphere, stunning décor, outstanding (but spendy) cocktails, delicious food, friendly service...
The Palm Court Grill was a great lunch option for Christmas Lunch, we both had the Christmas Turkey special and tried both of the desserts on offer, all of the food was tasty, the service was attentive and the drinks also very well mixed, great Ambience with the fireplace and Christmas lights on.
We came for Christmas and our server was amazing. Thank you!
Justin was a wonderful server! Appreciated him!
Awful table location. Food was all very salty. New waiter was very uninformed. Super disappointed.
Nice atmosphere, food was good and arrived timely. Understaffed for a holiday so there was significant wait times for refills on beverages etc.
Everything was really good the only thing was when we got there they sat us at a dirty table. Then took the setting from the table next to us and put it on our table. We told the lady who sat us that the table was a little dirty she came over with a towel and tried to wipe it. And something wouldn't come off so she licked her finger and rubbed it off. Kinda gross.
