I rarely leave reviews but this is our 3rd time and still we are so disappointed in such a Seattle institution that we wanted to love. The food is incredibly subpar. I ordered the dungeness crab stuffed colossal prawns which is also the photo on one of their marketing cards. I can tell you the photo and the actually dish are quite different. If there was crab, it was well hidden. Additionally, one of the waitresses had such strong perfume that I felt ill every time she walked by as it lingered well after she passed by.

Fabulous view, can’t beat it. Our service was incredible. The bread was fabulous. I had the chicken and it was a little salty for my taste but still great. The chocolate dessert was to die for.

One of my favorite restaurants. We use this for special occasions, and it rarely disappoints. Very worth the time and effort to show up - the customer is rewarded with tremendous views, service, and very good food.

Atmosphere is first rate. Beautiful views. The restuarant has a great design and great ambience and not loud. Service is excellent. Wait staff is attentive but not intrusive. Prices are on the high side but not unexpected for a restaurant of this caliber. Although all the food was prepared and presented beautifully, there was one common theme. Everything seemed to be excessively salty. The dip that came with my prime rib was like liquid salt. One dip of that and I never tried it again. The meat was already plenty salty as it was. I've been there several times in the past and hadn't experienced that before. So perhaps it was an unusual circumstance but, I'd still certainly try them again. The atmosphere is still well worth it.

Very disappointed. I chose a wine off the wine menu but was told that my choice of wine was not available and apparently had not been available for many months yet the selection remained on the wine selection. There was a “chef’s offering” which contained a food element that we could not have so we declined it staying the reason why but we were not offered a substitute. The entrées were lukewarm after having waited substantially after our appetizers had been eaten. Finally, the restaurant adds an obligatory 4% for the kitchen staff, which for me equates to having the general public pay the employee salaries instead of providing appropriate wages for them. This is nothing other than a tip and as such, I as the consumer should be given the option to provide (or not) that gratuity based on my experience.

Regretfully, Palisade is resting on it’s laurels and is not offering quality and service deserving of such high prices.

Been here several time before. This time seafood was undercooked, bordering raw and slimy inside...was told afterwards they cook seafood medium rare. Steak was over cooked. Just not what I expected for a 2-person $225 dinner. They accommodated us...but experience was not on par for a top notch restaurant.

We have eaten here many times over the last ten years. This the second time meal was bad. I will keep going back . I had the bone New York and my wife had the Halibut cheeks. The Halibut was over cooked and chewy. My steak I could of went to Costco and have a better steak. Then the waiter hardly came around we wanted desert. He brought a box for my wife's left over and didn't even ask if we wanted to see the menu for desert I had to ask him for it. He never came to ask how everything was. This was the first time I asked for the manager. He did take the $54.00 steak off the ticket. However we won't black list t he Palisade from our dinning places to go.

Nice ambiance, excellent food, and you are not rushed (the food is intentionally brought out at a leisurely pace, so that you can relax and enjoy your meal and your company). My only complaint would be that the guests behind us felt the need to open the window shade, allowing the intense evening sun to blind us and several other patrons. Rude, but certainly not the restaurant's fault (and they were eventually asked to lower it again).

We have been to Palisade on numerous occasions. It is always very attractive and wonderful for kids (they love feeding the fish), The “Luau Brunch” was fabulous. There was an abundance of great food: hot and cold crab, large shrimp, 2 varieties of salmon, sushi, bprine rib, ham,reakfast items of all sorts, fruit, desserts, and a chocolate fountain with goodies. Much more. Expensive, but worth every penny. Soft drinks, juice and coffee included. Service from Mariah was wonderful — competent, friendly. She brought a complimentary piece of birthday cake for our 5 year-old celebrant, as well. Great restaurant!

We had to request a window seating. The wait help was very attentive; the food was well prepared (not over done) The selection was quite nice. It was a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere.

Minimum wage increase was passed in Seattle. The restaurant owner passed these costs to the diner. We paid a 4.9% LWgeSC for this. Additionally, we were taxed on the low minimum wage increase. Our bill for 2 was 172.00. The 4.9% added another 8.43 to the bill. We were taxed on 180.43 instead of 172.00. The explanation for this...the owner didn't want to pass on the costs to the diner in the way of menu prices. Hmm...I am still paying for the increase no matter which way you slice it.

Had a wonderful Sunday brunch at Palisade. Quite reasonably priced for the high quality items offered. Wow, what an experience. Crab legs, ceviche, ahi poke, oyster shooters, prawn cocktail. And that’s just one small sample of what they offer. The view of the harbor is beautiful and service is top notch from start to finish.

Romantic place with a nice view even at the winter time. Creative dishes and cocktails, very cozy atmosphere and very friendly staff with a good customer service skills. And one of impressive part of restaurant is a salt water pond. I recommend to visit this place. 5 stars dining experience.

My self and a friend had the steak and Atlantic Lobster tail. I had a filet and he had a ribeye. Both were cooked perfectly and tender. The lobster tail was decadent . Although the cost was a bit extravagant. It was one of the best meals we have had at Palisades.
