This is my favorite restaurant in Seattle to host business dinners and to get together with friends. The terrific food, attentive wait staff and ambiance of the location make this establishment something special.
I am a frequenter of Palisade since the grand opening and have always had exceptional experiences there. Until our last client dinner on October 13, where 3 of 4 entrees were exceptional but the Salmon served was unacceptable. Our excellent waiter graciously replaced the entree with a new dish, unfortunately suffering from the same rubbery toughness that salmon should never have. Management graciously apologized for the double failure and removed the entree from our bill after offering a substitute dish. I must acknowledge that the service was professional and first class at all times, and that any restaurant can have an "off" night occasionally, especially with a specific entree.
I will return to Palisade and recommend to others, no hard feelings, always excellent for 20+ years and much appreciated.
Loved everything about palisade !
Very disappointing. Setting was beautiful but food was awe full- basically souped up Denny’s food. Seafood was not fresh and poorly prepared. Wait staff looked disheveled and bored. Probably the worst restaurant experience I have had in Seattle.
I book the dining for a birthday celebration. Food is good, view is awesome! The only minor flaw of the experience is that we have to tie the booster and clean it up before placing our kid to the seat and the waiter is not helpful for this. In general, it's a good casual dining place i would recommend for the review and food!
Always a go-to restaurant for excellent food, great service and an absolutely stunning view.
It seems very over priced for the brunch unless one is starving - which I think is rare at least for me.
Food was phenomenal, weekend brunch is where it’s at. . The view was beautiful from our table.
I had my 21st anniversary and have no complaints. I made my reservation through open table and that was seamless. I made the reservation a week in-advance and did ask for a table next to the window. I did not get that but the table we did get was ok. overall everything was good. The PuPu platter is to die for. 5 stars...
Great staff, excellent service and the food was awesome! Water and downtown View was fantastic. Waiter was very helpful and attentive to guests. Overall a great dining experience.
Excellent experience on our Anniversary, great staff, excellent food.
Excellent service! Delicious food! Our son enjoyed feeding the fishes. Overall great experience!
Everything from walking in the door, meal, drinks, and experience was amazing!!! Food was extremely incredible! Thanks for the rose petals on our dinner table to make our special occasion incredible!
Excellent food great views special occasions are made for Palisades
Visiting from Florida, we found Palisade to be a perfect place to introduce my wife to Seattle. I served in the U. S. army here almost 60 years ago! Loved Seattle then, love it now and Palisade was a excellent way for us to begin our visit! The cocktails were unique and finely crafted, the oysters were superb and the sushi and the steak were excellent.
We were a party of 5 for a special birthday on Monday night so not very busy. The service was bad and slow, the food was average or below. The staff was confused and we had to ask for most things they should have brought automatically, they did finally bring things too late when we could find them they seemed to be so busy it was very hard to understand. We will not go back, very disappointed as we were hoping for a nice birthday dinner at a nice restaurant.
Took an hour to get food. Lovely server. Incredible ambiance. Fish were a big hit w child.
Salmon amazing, steelhead good, halibut over cooked.
We love the Chef's early prix fixe menu. My husband is gluten free and he enjoys the gf seafood noodles as well as the gf crab cakes and of course the flourless chocolate cake. Our kids do not have sophisticated palates yet but I love that they have a 3 course kids menu. The kids even got vegetables with their dinner. It was my husband's birthday and there were rose petals and a happy birthday note on the table. Great!
Everything was wonderful! We highly recommend you try it! 💕
Our waitress was really wonder. What ever we needed she supplied. She even brought us hot towels after we had crab shell juice all over us. Thanks for a great time!
Came to celebrate a quite birthday dinner. Palisades setup table with a happy birthday card and rose peddles. It was very thoughtful and appreciated.
I have been coming to Palisade for a little over twenty years, and as a child I did not appreciate everything that it was. I have grown to see that Palisade is a great place for a regular person to splurge a little and feel like they’re going all out. It has that fancy feel, upscale location, and beautiful view, but I have never felt out of place or felt like I was being judged for wearing shorts and a t-shirt. It is more expensive than anywhere else I usually eat, but the setting, attentive service, quality of food, and relaxed atmosphere all come together to make you feel like you got a great deal.
Best friend’s engagement
This was the first time we went for dinner. The view was very nice at night too.
Palisades offers great food, great service, and great ambiance! If I lived in Seattle, I would come here at least once a week.
We recently visited Palisades to celebrate a family birthday. We'd always had such a great time there in the past we were looking forward to going again as it had been awhile. Unfortunately, however this time we were disappointed with our dining experience there. Our waitress Lisa was delightful and attentive. The food however left something to be desired.
The crab cakes, which are rich on there own, were served with an overpowering saffron rice side, which competed with instead of complimenting the cakes. The pea risotto that came with the scallops was bland, again did not compliment the seafood. And the Asian style rice served with the Black Cod was unpleasantly sweet, again not complimentary. The seafood Louie would have been more aptly named a salmon Louie as it had only one prawn, one piece of crab leg and a small sprinkle of crab meat, but a decent piece of salmon. The last item ordered was the seafood pasta and that was decent.
I hope Palisades is not relying on the beautiful ambiance and view it provides these days. As I said we had always enjoyed wonderful meals there in the past but it definitely is not what it used to be.
My husband and I ate here for our anniversary and it was amazing. The service was fantastic and the food was worth every penny. I would gladly recommend this restaurant!
Always consistently good. That's why I've had parties celebrating birthdays and anniversaries. The food and service is always good.
Palisades is really a premier and trainings. With a great view of Elliott Bay and marina, it a special setting that is a perfect place to show off Seattle.
It is not a cheap brunch but how could it be with a fantastic seafood selection.
This is not for everyday dining, but it should be experienced at least a few times a year to remind you of what a great place we live in.
We have been there four times. Two anniversary dinners, lunch with friends and now brunch. We did notice a difference in the higher noise level at brunch. We were at a large round table and it was hard to hear each other. However the buffet was phenomenal. We have rarely experienced such fare. Everything was delicious. We love the food and the view and our dinners and brunch waiters where outstanding. We felt very spoiled. We would definitely recommend Palisade.
The meal and service were great but we had leftovers and did receive them before we had to leave. It was disappointing to have to waste the food.
Server felt unprofessional. Food was subpar. Was not worth the cost of the meal.
Extremely great service! Probably the coolest restaurant I have been to, celebrated our four year anniversary and the hospitality was great. Amazing restaurant if you are willing to pay the pretty penny!
Always consistent todd food, service and ambiance. Can't go wrong with Palisades.
I surprised my boyfriend by taking him to Palisade for his birthday and it was absolutely perfect in every way! I was blown away! We got to our table and there was a birthday card and rose petals set up for him. Our waiter was so attentive but not in our face at all. 100% recommend and can’t wait to get wined and dined again! Also the food was INCREDIBLE. Best king crab cakes ever... and the seafood fettuccini and surf and turf- amazing!
Palisade is probably my favorite restaurant in Seattle and it happens to reside in my backyard (I live in Magnolia). I've never been disappointed with the food, the service or the ambiance and I always look forward to going there. I also love the first seating option so I can afford to treat the kids too!
Killer steaks. Great crunchy veggies. Solid drinks
Todd is amazing!! Best server ever! Fun knowledgeable and super efficient.
Nice table, great view... Ordered a cocktail and when it arrived, ordered dinner. Dinner was served with 10 minutes, leaving little time for the cocktail. Prime rib was under-cooked (ordered medium well, it was borderline rare). Otherwise, the food was very good and good-sized portions.
