This is an upscale restaurant, however our service did not fit this. The waiter seemed to have long time frames between coming to the table to check in on drinks, food etc. My father had the surf and turf and the turf part of the meal, the prime rib was horrible! He is one to finish his place and after sending it back he still left more than half sitting after his meal. he ordered the meat medium-rare, it came out well done, and even the replacement was still well, with now a tiny bit of pink.
All of the seafood our table ate was great! The rest of the meal was delicious. Drinks were good, but again, we were left hunting down the waiter to order another round.
Beautiful spot for dining!
We went to Palisade to celebrate our 5th anniversary, when we got to yhe table there were rose pedals and a card wishing us happy 5th, thay was a lovely touch. Plus you really can't beat the view or the excellent menu. We were all pleased with every bite!
Our waiting was super helpful and not over our shoulders every minute. Go for the food and stay for the view
I've never had a bad experience at Palisade. Be sure to reserve several days early and communicate clearly if you want a seat near the window, though; they're popular seats.
Great view, service and good food but pricey. Delicious halibut!
We had a great dinner! Todd was our waiter and was very attentive to our table as he also took care of 5 other tables. He gave us great advice on what to order, took care to make sure anything that had citrus in it was away from the one with a citrus allergy. We lacked for nothing the entire meal. The food was wonderful! Everything cooked just right and so much flavor. It is one of our favorite places to eat out.
our server was extremely good at his profession and he was very personable. the staff was great although the greeters seemed a little impersonal.
It was our first time there for our 10 year anniversary dinner. The view was great and the so was the service. My Filet Mignon was a little burnt but overall it was still good. I would definitely go back.
What a beautiful restaurant! The gorgeous view, amazing service, wonderful food, and courteous staff made for a delightful dinner. We enjoyed the pre-fixe special and a staff that wanted nothing more than to ensure a great experience. 5 Star all the way.
We pretty much paid bill for atmosphere with nice view and location. Food was Ok. Nothing was outstanding. Front greeting wasn't really friendly but waiter was great!
Great service, atmosphere and food...all-together combined, made for a most pleasant dining experience. All three of us happened to have ordered entirely different, meals and starters/desserts, so we were able to see a variety of great food coming out of the kitchen. We were all very happy with our server's attention to our needs as well.
This is a good consistent place to go to. Good food and service. It's as little pricey but still mostly worth it. My complaint is with the guests coming out to the deck too take their Instagram pictures and selfies right by our table.. it's the first time this has happened to us.
I used the open table reservation request space to explain that this was a late celebration of Father's Day. I had requested a table closer to the windows, I had guests in from out of town.
It was a Monday, the restaurant traffic was very light. Instead of seating us in the lower level we were put in the second level, near the stairs. This seems unnecessary. Why wouldn't you put more guests on the lower level to look out into Elliott Bay?
We had children with us, generally, they get fed first, the waitress made up a story about why their appetizer and dinner came after "the adult" appetizers. This occurred after she was prompted about their lack of food. Normally, I love Palisades and I've been coming for the entire 16 years that I have lived here, but last week's experience left me disappointed.
The service started out pretty good since we were the only ones in the restaurant at noon on a Monday. However, once a few more parties came in, there was only one server for all the tables so service did suffer. I ordered more tartar which never arrived so I finished my meal without it. I also would have expected a small complementary birthday dessert (they did give a card and rose petals) for my guest. I was surprised at the 4.9% LWgeSC on the bill.....their prices are high enough without expecting people to pay this surcharge in addition to a tip.
I put that I would recommend restaurant to a friend but would forward them about the service charge!
This was an extensive buffet with bottomless mimosas with various flavors all at a reasonable price for all that you get.
Great food, incredible waitstaff, bottomless mimosas. what more could we want? Children to be corralled, and not left to cough on the desserts.
Other than that, everything was wonderful. Nice selection of foods, a great view. Be sure and ask for a window table.
Palisade gets better and better with every visit! The food was outstanding, impeccable service, a little spendy but worth every penny. We hope to be back very soon!
My wife and I absolutely love going here. The people are extremely friendly and great food. They always get 5 stars when we dine there.
My wife and I celebrated our 11yr anniversary here and had a wonderful time. Delicious food, great service with friendly staff. Would certainly recommend to others.
Palisade is our favorite place for celebrating anniversaries, birthdays, and whenever we want to treat ourselves to a great dinner. The views are amazing and the food and service are always excellent. And the Agrodolce Brussels Sprouts are not to be missed.
I've been to many buffet brunches in my lifetime, and this one was absolutely the best buffet brunch ever. The food was excellent and varied, the service staff were friendly and helpful, and the ambiance and views were superb! Worth every penny!
LOVED IT!! It was a great place to go for a special occasion for brunch, to get all dressed up and eat amazing food. I loved our waitress and it was cute how they put petals and a card out on the table for my friends birthday. This was my suggestion and everyone enjoyed it, and thought it was worth the money.
My boyfriend and I enjoyed our last meal while on vacation at Palisade and it did not disappoint. Our table had a spectacular view and our waitress was so pleasant. She anticipated all of our needs and made our dining experience one to remember. Both of our meals were delicious with healthy portions and cooked perfectly. We agreed this was the best meal we had ever eaten. We also appreciated the complimentary car service into Downtown Seattle. Our driver was so friendly and made nice conversation. I would highly recommend Palisade to friends, family, and strangers. From beginning to end, we had an unforgettable experience and will be sure to visit again the next time we are in Seattle. Thank you for such a treat!
This is my new favorite restaurant. They could do a bit more about exterior appearance. But inside is very nice. Wait staff is well mannered. There is no bad table. Good of course is superber.
Beautiful views across the Puget Sound - simply stunning. Otherwise fairly disappointing!! Main course arrived while we were still eating our starters! Steak not cooked to order and was returned for further cooking but the vegetables were then cold! Very pricey for the overall quality - just go for a drink and bar snack, take in the view and find somewhere else for dinner.
Waiter and manager were excellent
Food was tasty
Unfortunately the food we ordered was not the best, our lobster was very bland and chewy, our appetizer was very good as well as the service
Great meal great service waiter did terrific job very knowabe
The crab & lobster dip is a must! You can order it at lunch even though it's on the dinner menu. Try the banana ice cream! It's wonderful! 💗
We went for anniversary dinner. Request for a table by the window and called to confirm as well. We were seated on the corner table by the window with a big tree so we asked if we could get the other table that was also empty at that time plus it’s by the window as well but we couldn’t. Our server was pretty much the only awesome part of this experience. He was very nice! The food presentation were beautiful but tasted ok. At the end, this place does not give you any thing for special occasions for the price of the food. I think management should offer something back to the customers. It will make it more memorable on their special day. We ended up going to other awesome place for desserts. Overall it was an ok experience.
Great service. Pasta was undercooked but apparently because it’s gluten free, which was not previously disclosed. Salad was good except the seafood didn’t seem fresh. Bread pudding was excellent and was the best dish in the course.
Food and service were amazing, but be warned, there are NO vegitarian entrees. We were told the only thing the chef could make was rissoto, but they told us in the future to call ahead and request that something speacial be made. I don’t care what kind of restaurant you are, you HAVE to have something vegitarian on the menu in this day and age.
Affordable place to celebrate right.
Palisades is my favorite restaurant - I love the fish pond in the entry, the view of Seattle, and great food always with excellent service
Food was excellent along with service.
Outstanding food and service.
Our wait person was Emily and she could not have done more nor been nicer!
We celebrated one birthday then expanded to a second one and more people. Palisade made easy transition and accommodation to the changes. Really all had a great time and food! Thanks!
Amazing! We didn't stop smiling! Waiter was perfect!
So so food
20th Wedding Anniversary💝.
Food selection was good and presented beautifully but did not taste good. Neither the freshness of food nor spices came through what we ate. It was disappointing meal other then the view and the pleasant surrounding.
Had a very nice dinner with another couple. Would definitely come back. Really appreciated the car service from our downtown hotel.
