Nice location for a business lunch - it was on a rare sunny spring day in Seattle -- right next to the window with a million dollar view of Seattle and the Sound! The food was AMAZING. Service was a bit slow considering there weren't many customers there, but it just gave us more time to meet with our new business associate.
The worst service imaginable. We were hosting a business dinner and the service was so delayed we were embarrassed.
After we ordered and got our salads, it was probably at least a half an hour or more before we got our fish entrees. And they were not good. For a restaurant at this price range near the water, one would expect great fish. NOT SO.
Then we foolishly ordered dessert. It did not come. we could not find our waiter. we finally after at least another 30 minutes found another restaurant worker and they went back and brought our desserts.
Had we been by ourselves, we would have made a more vocal protest. I am not sure if they chef left town or they just did not have enough help, but this was a disaster and not worth the several hundred dollars we spent.
My sister and I brought our niece to brunch because I don't get to see her very often. The food was delicious, especially the au gratin potatoes. We will definitely be back for more great food.
Wonderful time as always, thoughtful service, waiter took the time to actually find out what our likes and dislikes for food were and then made recommendations based on that. Everything was absolutely perfect! Thanks for a great time will definitely be back!
Amazing food, service, view and I can’t believe how delicious the Creme Brûlée was! Best food of our trip! Totally worth the $
We went to Palisade to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary. They gave us a table with a great view, decorated with rose petals and a card on our table when we arrived. The food and service were outstanding. Even the dessert was special. We highly recommend the Palisade to everyone.
Excellent as always! Great place to take out-of-town guests.
Palisade is our favorite place to dine for something fancy. The location is phenomenal and the food has always been among the best meals we've ever had. Get the Dungeness Crab & Lobster Bisque especially; you will not be disappointed!
The view can't be beat and our service was excellent, from bus "boy" to waiter to people who seated us. Very friendly yet totally professional. When clearing the plates, I was asked "are you finished?" for once (and NOT "are you DONE", which is terribly rude in my book).
Food was pretty good, though the ciopinno tasted a little raw, as if the soup part had just been prepared using cans of tomatoes. I prefer a slower cooked, deeper flavor, as if stewed for a while. The caesar was pretty good but not outstanding (i.e., no shaves of parm, no anchovies unless pay extra, which seems miserly). The dessert was one small ball of sorbet. Again it was adequate, but far from abundant. The wine flight was very nice. Again the service was excellent, as is the view and the facility itself is lovely.
One of the Best locations for views and ambience in Seattle!
Great for brunch, lunch and dinner . I take my family here for many birthday.
Wonderful seafood, terrific view of Elliott Bay and downtown Seattle. Ambience, service all good. Gets a top rating from me.
We always enjoy Palisades during restaurant week, as they take this opportunity to show off some of their delicious food.
Visited Palisade mid-week, a sunny, beautiful evening. Had drinks at the bar, then a wonderful dinner at a window table overlooking the marina. The views were wonderful, as were the dinner and wine selections. Overall, we would definitely return on our next visit to Seattle.
Susan and I enjoyed celebrating Susan's birthday together! The setting, food and Zak's service were all great. We look forward to celebrating each of our birthdays to come. Thank you.
Great food. Fantastic waiter!
We had a wonderful experience. We were coming to Palisades to celebrate my friend passing one of her harder classes she’s been taking for her MBA program. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and really made it such a special experience for her. They wrote hooray on her dessert plate, had a congrats card for her and just were so lovely. Thank you for the wonderful time and we will come back again to celebrate once she finishes her program!
Another wonderful meal at Palisades. The steelhead was delicious, as well as everything that was served with it. Service and ambience is exceptional as always.
Great variety of dishes and desserts to choose from. Everyone found something that they enjoyed and shared.
Food was not memorable. Service was average. View is nice, so it is a good spot to bring out of town guests.
The food was exquisite, the experience was memorable, and I liked the live fish in the water features.
What impressed us most about Palisade, besides the two chocolate fountains that our kids went crazy for, was the service. From the moment we walked in, we were attended to with attention, care, respect, and professionalism. They made it feel like a special day. Now here comes the cherry on top: we had told them we were celebrating the half way point in our 11 year old's cancer treatment in Seattle. Next thing we knew, our lovely waitress let us know that the manager had decided to comp our meal! We were floored! And then they went out of their way to find us a reservation for Mother's Day. Customer Service comes first at Palisade. It doesn't get any better than that, folks. And the crab legs, prime rib, and bottomless mimosas are divine. Get up and go! You will love it!
Food was amazing! We were check upon not too much and not too little it was perfect! Amazing atmosphere! My wife and I were very pleased!!
The palisades was a beautiful experience. My friends felt like they were getting a true Seattle experience. Food was exceptional. We did their brunch buffet and we never wanted to stop eating.
Very classy place that even has parking! We came for birthday dinner. Great place for sunsets and starring at boats.
My wife and I went for lunch on our anniversary. They had a 2 course Seattle Restaurant Week menu that my wife ordered from and I ordered from a three course lunch menu. My wife had lobster bisque and steelhead--both were exceptional. I had a caesar salad, fish and chips and a chocolate torte. Plenty of dessert to share and left over fish and chips for lunch the next day. Usually we drink wine with dinner so the bill would have been more if we had alcohol--instead we had coffee. Total was $67 with tip; a great value. Wonderful view and attentive staff. Food was served hot which often these days it is not. Highly recommended. We only waited a couple minutes for our reserved table, during which time they scattered rose petals on the table and had a happy anniversary card for us, too.
Food continues to be Amazing! Went to Salty's and Anthony's in the same week to celebrate other occasions and Palisade's menu, service and quality of food once it hits the table is AMAZING! Although the Cioppino between Antony's and Palisades are a close match - both equally awesome in their own right. But for over all, Palisades always seems to re-invent first experiences. The constant here though is the food, the service and experience! Thank you!
Service was excellent, but short ribs in miso was too salty to eat. Other menu items probably would have tasted better. View and restaurant layout was great . Appetizers were good
The best part is a lovely view of downtown Seattle. The food and service are good, but not exceptional.
The view is amazing and the food was tasty. The server was very accommodating, and attentive.
My wife & I had a great experience. The meal was fantastic, the service was even better than the meal. I can recommend Palisades for everyone
Great water front view and indoor fish pond was fun for the kids. We ordered Seattle restaurant week items and was pretty unimpressed with it. The Korean beef rib was very salty. We also ordered crab cakes which was on their regular menu, which tastes just OK. The service was great. Overall I'm willing to give it another chance to try other items on the menu.
3 course meal took 2.5 hours. There’s about 30 mins time between each course which is way too long. The waiter did not come back to ask if our food was ok after the initial delivery of the foods. 2 out of 4 entrees were overly salty. It would have taken another hour if we asked for a new entree. The overall experience was disappointing. Definitely will not come back again.
Our family went to a Sunday brunch on 4/8 and it was soooooo disappointed. The baked crab was very salty and wasn't edible. We told the waiter and he said that was the way it was cooked. The prime ribs was also very salty. The $700+ brunch was completely waste of money.
Scenic views complements the popular brunch buffet. Special flavored mimosas are delicious and all you can drink for not much more.
Brunch was GREAT!!! Our server was amazing! Place had a great view . The only thing is the Prime rib hash wasn't really a hash and not very good. Needs to be more of a hash . Prime Rib was AWESOME. Having people come up with 50 words is kind of dumb. Just let them write what they want. The food was good but not the hash. Sea food was fresh. Could use more egg dishes
Wonderful time, as always! Delicious food, terrific service!
Amazing architecture, ambience, view. Had the Pupu Platter, Surf and Turf (prime rib, king salmon, colossal shrimp, seasonal vegetables, and Beechers au gratin potatoes) and my wife had the halibut cheeks. We shared the creme brûlée. Everything was amazing.
Wife was very happy with this choice for dinner birthday.
Had Garrett for our server and he was friendly, funny, and perfectly attentive.
Picked up at our hotel in a complimentary town car. Driver was great.
Arrived at our table for 50th Bday to find rose pedals and a card.
Our waiter was excellent with great recommendations. My halibut was over cooked and he offered to change my order or have them prepare another plate. The manager stopped by our table to apologize and assure me that my change in my order is taking priority in the kitchen. I requested the Black Cod and it melted in my mouth!
Our evening was amazing and we will definitely be back.
