The food was disappointing.
It’s been 10 years since I’ve been here, so when I returned to Seattle, this restaurant was high on my list since I enjoyed it so much in the past. The prices were too high considering the quality and portions. The bread used to be excellent - not anymore. Entree portions were small and not that fresh. The restaurant was mostly empty. The waiter was great, as was the view and the indoor pond. The mussels and crab were dry and didn’t seem very fresh. All in all, a disappointment.
Sarah remains the best of the best -- and the food was fantastic!!
We were staying at an AirBNB in Magnolia and searched for the closest seafood restaurant. Palisade was a wonderful surprise, located on the marina. The restaurant is old school elegant. The views are spectacular. The seafood was some of the best we have had anywhere. I recommend the combo platter that featured salmon, shrimp and scallops.
Over all pleased with the the service, staff, food everything. I had made some special request they took very well into consideration.
Went to Palisade for a nice Bday dinner for my wife. The food was just incredible only surpassed by our waiter Houang who knew the menu down to the smallest detail and was attentive and very pleasant. We'll be back.
I love this place for weekend brunch. The food selection for brunch is enormous and has always been creative and tasty, including the several types of mimosas they offer. The view is wonderful, our server was great, and for as large a restaurant as it is, it seems to be designed to keep the the noise at a level that is conducive for conversation.
The seafood is not fresh and it’s not worth for the money to try it!
Went for a birthday celebration with a group of friends, and in short, it was amazing all around! Amazing view, amazing food, amazing bottomless mimosas. The service was also - you guessed it - amazing. You will not be disappointed!
Excellent service, amazing selection (for brunch) and a casual atmosphere while still feeling like a special event.
Had a beautiful date night with my husband. The view is great from every table. Our server was really thoughtful and non intrusive.
Had a great time. Date night planned with my girlfriend and it didn’t disappoint
Beautiful views, friendly staff. Food was Amazing and top quality
Great views, amazing service, and delicious local seafood
We went to celebrate our 26th anniversary and were greeted very friendly and taken to our table that had beautiful red rose pedals all over it and a happy anniversary card. Very nice touch. Our wait staff was prompt, very friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. The prime rib, filet mignon and lobster was fabulous. I don’t care for rutabagas but they were so delicious, I ate them all! And they brought us a very nice dessert for our anniversary. Overall it was a very wonderful night that we can only afford once a year, it’s very spendy, but worth it!
Hi, I always enjoy Palisades but found this time disappointing. Let me first say that the food was good. We were there for an early dinner with my kids on my husband's 40th birthday. Even though the card and petals were on the table, our waiter said nothing until prompted and really seemed to want to focus his attention on perceived higher value tables. We had a one course meal which took two hours so was way too slow. I know this is NOT meant to be fast food but that's still a too long. We also felt the lag between drinks and waiter check in and had to often look for someone. I also saw someone else getting a dessert with candles and it would have been nice to have been offered that option. Just not up to the standard expected.
Really, it was great. 5 of us for a birthday celebration. The wait staff was excellent, and so was the food and wine. Beautiful view inside and out. Noise level really quiet for such a large space.
Great lunch Sunday buffet Such a huge variety Great atmosphere As good as saltys
Great view and ambiance. My Mother's favorite in Seattle.
The staff was lovely and made a special night celebrating 2 years together Eden more special! It was beautiful weather, too, so our view of the sound and downtown was exceptional. Delicious food and drinks as well!
Nice upscale restaurant but prices not premium. Fantastic atmosphere and view of the sound and marina in Magnolia. Well prepared food with some different preparations. Mostly a dinner restaurant or brunch with the seafood, steak and specialties.
Delicious food and amazing view. We chose palisade for our special dinner out on our last night in Seattle. Cocktails were great and our waiter was so kind and attentive and he recommended food beer and wine to us all of which were delicious, great recommendations. Our dinner at palisade was a great experience.
We always have a wonderful experience when dining at Palasade, from the food to the excellent customer service!
The seafood in the fettuccine was great but the fettuccine itself was not very good, it was very hard, thick, and it stuck together.
The food was stellar, our service was amazing and very professional. Definitely will be back!!
Ambiance was nice but the food was average at best. Way to much use of sauces for a fresh seafood restaurant. The mixture of seared scallops with roasted potatoes and brussel sprouts is very odd.
The brunch buffet was incredible! I think this was the first time we've managed to take our kids out to a nice restaurant without tantrums in quite a while - having fancy food, nice cocktails, and great service is one end of things, but for parents the buffet is a plus because it's also fast. Utterly fantastic experience.
I get what i paid for !
Food,service & view were great !
Food selections was really limited
No pastries for brunch ? C’mon
This place made my fiancé and I feel just as amazing as the moment in which we shared. I purposed here, and the help of the hostess, and the ambience of the place was epic.
Great seafood & the server was awesome. The salmon stream running through the restaurant was cool too!
Ordered the pacific sashimi, a bit too much on the onions. Gf had the seafood trio, part of the salmon had way too much salt, she share part of the fish and i would agree. Ended up scrapping the top layer and it was fine after that. First time ive ever had an issue, but i will probably still come back.
We visited Palisade to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday. The table was set with a card and rose petals - a nice touch.
The spicy calamari appetizer recommended by our handsome waiter Marcus was delicious as he promised were fresh. For the main I had the surf and turf, a large portion that was prepared as ordered and presented nicely. My partner had the boneless rib eye that was fantastic. Everyone at the table favored the roasted brussel sprouts, we could have eaten more. The birthday girl ordered the halibut cheeks, a perfect choice.
Our table was straight in from the front door and we were sometimes cold when patrons entered and exited the restaurant. Definitely try and get a window table, as the view of the marina and the Seattle skyline is superb.
Palisade is in desperate need of a remodel, the food and service make up for the decor's shortcomings.
Our server was awesome, really attentive but not over bearing. Food was great, the choice of wine recommended by the restaurant was a great pairing ...gorgeous view over the bay. They really made my wife’s evening special.. just enough attention to detail as it was her birthday.
The food was superb and the staff was incredible. From the valet guys to the busers everyone was fantastic.
TJ was outstanding!
Wonderful food and beautiful view. Great for a special occasion or formal meal
Our experience was good, but wished we had known that they serve a buffet on Saturdays and that the buffet closes at 2:30 (our reservation was at 1:15). Unfortunately, we were unable to go through the buffet without feeling rushed, so the price of the buffet was very expensive since we ran out of time. We have been to Palisade before, so although this was a little disappointing, we still would go back and hopefully at a time when we could order off the menu.
Delicious seafood as always. Excellent, friendly service. One of the best view restaurants in Seattle. Especially recommend beet salad and bisque. Will return for late happy hour and desserts.
Just wish I could afford to come here more often! The creme brulee is fantastic!
Fresh PNW Seafood and other treats prepared by chefs that let the seasonal ingredients be the star of the dishes. My out of town visitors were enthralled with the view, enjoyed over the fresh seafood platter and a glass of Washington wine. We loved the Seadood trio, miso halibut cheeks and apple blue cheese salad. So, cool that they have town car service to the downtown hotels. Already planning my next trip. Enjoy!
