Our server made us feel welcomed and gave us just the right amount attention!
Lovely evening with good food, excellent service and a great view for of the marina and Seattle skyline.
This has been our go-to place for family celebrations but our last experience was disappointing. Palisades is now owned by the Landry restaurant chain and the quality has declined while prices have risen. We had an excellent server and she saved what would have been a completely disappointing evening. The food is not inspired, not well-prepared and exceedingly expensive for what you get. We will be visiting other locally owned restaurants for future celebrations.
The ambiance and service was, as usual, very good. The drinks were also good, but the entries were disappointing.
I’ve been to Palisades many times over the last 20 years. It’s disappointing to see the turn it has taken. The only steak on the menu was a sirloin. In the past the had a great filet. The bisque was good but it was hardly over room temperature. The bread was very nice but was not served until after the soup course?? I’ve had better steaks at Applebee’s. We had our steak served Oscar style with salmon and crab. The steak was tough and dry. They did take one steak off the bill and apologized. Not what we’d hoped for our anniversary dinner.
Of course the view is awesome. And the waitress was great. Maybe it’s just because it’s the year of the COVID. I’ll check back it a couple more years.
It’s a great place with a fantastic view for a date. The service was spectacular as well as the food.
From the manhattans to the crispy calamari to the delicious bread, Palisade delivered! My husband had the crab and shrimp bisque, which was probably the best I’ve ever tasted, and I had the Chef’s seasonal salad with prawns. The food was really outstanding and, while a bit pricey, it was worth it!
I had a lovely evening with 2 guests, to introduce a newcomer to a City Institution. The GM and Asst GM were kind enough to come and say hello, offering any assistance desired. It had been a very long time since my last visit, and I will be sure to come again soon.
We celebrated a birthday and our server, Justin, was wonderful. We will be back!
A serious let down from what I expected. Landry's, purchased Palisade and a few other local restaurants. Landry's - typical corporate owner - doesn't care about the customers and if their responsiveness to customers is any indication, we can expect this place to go downhill quickly. Sorry to see it because Palisade used to be a great place! Oh well... there are plenty of other good local restaurants.
We went because they had a special on their website. When the waiter came we found out sorry that’s only Monday thru Thursday and he told us lots of people were asking about it. Not happy but we were there so we ate good food and drinks.
dinner was great as well as the service and atmosphere
Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly. A great experience and still one of my most favorite places to dine.
This place is stunning and The food was amazing! Our server Justin was awesome as well.
Palisade is a reliable place - we go there regularly. This time I had a paella (one of the specials for the evening). The base of the paella itself, at $75, was good, but maybe not $75 good. But there was a _gigantic_ lobster tail on top which is what I think I was paying for. And the lobster was done perfectly. No regrets.
The steak and lobster tail special was incredible...also, best moscow mules I've ever had.
We have always loved Palisades and had our 50th wedding anniversary party with 70 people . Then our son was married there. This year we knew that Palisades would do a great job of keeping people safe so we had our 58th anniversary this past week inside by the windows looking out on our great city.and the marina. We had the seafood dinner and everything was excellent. The carb cake look and tasted yummy. The shrimp salad was just right. Then came the salmon dinner which was outstanding. What great place and so close to our home. We live just above in Magnolia so you see we will be back!
The food was delicious, and the presentation flawless. My only complaint was that my wagging steak seemed a bit on the lean side. It was not as tender as I expected.
Also. the music choice was not great. Instrumental would have been a better option than the big band / oldies standards mix they were playing.
We went for my birthday and I was BEYOND impressed. Usually seafood restaurants on the dock are underwhelming but this experience left me speechless. Not only was the food amazing, the service was well catered and enjoyable. I have already recommended this restaurant to friends and family
Restaurant decor is very dated. It’s need a remodel.
Great food, lovely sunset, wonderful staff. A spider did spin down from above right in front of me, all good
It was a beautiful evening and so lovely sitting by the window looking at the water, the boats, harbor seals, and the blue herons. Food was fabulous and we had outstanding service.
Seafood was delicious, great view of the water, wonderful waiter (Justin) and great wait staff. Topped it off with a yummy dessert! 👍👍👍
Best dining experience ever. It was my 7 year anniversary with my wife and our two year old was along for the ride. We were greeted immediately and advised there was a short wait to be seated. The greeter provided me with fish food so my two year old could feed the fish while we wait. There was a large Coy pond with a bridge above it so my little could feed the fish. She had a blast dropping in fish food and watching them swarm! Just as she finished our table was ready.
The food was very good and our waiter was phenomenal. He even pointed out a spot for my daughter to watch a sea otter which was a blast for her. Perfect date
Service was excellent. Food was mediocre for price.
We were so excited to try this place for my birthday, our friends raved!! We were sadly disappointed with the food. Prime rib was ordered rare it came over cooked , my halibut was raw . They were both bland. The lobster bisque was good but there was barely any crab or lobster chunks. Our drinks were on point and the dessert was perfect
I was disappointed in my recent visit. I went once for the Prixe dinner and it was a fabulous experience. Great food, value, and service. When I came this time, I did not get the same service. Our waitress took a bit before getting back to our table after we told her we were ready to order. The food took a bit to come out. The appetizer came out before our drinks. I was mostly disappointed in the fact that nobody refilled our water glasses at all and they were empty for quite a while. Our server was sweet, but could have been more attentive. I hate to leave a poor review for a place that I would normally recommend, it just didn’t impress this time :(
The American Wagyu Sirloin was extremely tough. We ordered 4 of them and they took almost 2 hours to get through. We could barely chew. Their food is seasoned well and the service was amazing. Just disappointed that the quality of meat was bad.
Located at the Elliot bay marina provides an excellent view of Elliot bay and Seattle city line. A window side table only magnifies the experience so much more. Food was delicious, every item was beyond expectation and presented with great care. The staff is very friendly and prompt in service.
Only con, if I can say any, is that food is a bit expensive. Although I think it is worth, I spent significantly higher than other equivalent meals in good restaurants.
Finding the restaurant was a big challenge, as I missed the entrance to the Marina and went over Magnolia bridge.
Great entre but Caesar salad was just a wedge of Romaine with a little dressing and a bit of cheese. Most wines are over $50 and corkage fee is $35. They attempt to add a 4.9% cost of wages tax, it can be removed if you object. Overall an excellent meal but not a great value at $214 for two when tip and taxes are added.
We came from out of town, the restaurant was nice and got us a nice window seat. The server was so polite and nice and explained specials to us. Food was amazing and we will definitely be back.
Love chef James, Morgan, Sarah, Bailey and cocktails by Gina. Thank you
My review probably would have been higher, but we have been regular diners at Palisades for a decade. The menu is reduced, and the food seemed to be not at the same quality as previously and the service was mediocre. Very disappointing. Hopefully when the virus is over the old Palisade will be back.
Very good seafood with nice ambiance overlooking the marina
No love in the Food. Chief special was the worst cold.
Everything was great!
Our server exceeded the great food!
Palisades use to be the place to go. Today it feels very dated. The service was spot on and the food was amazing. Cost was to high for the experience. Beautiful view though.
Everything was great! Our server was polite and friendly. The food was amazing!
Palisades is one of our favorite Seattle restaurants. The food and service are always great and the decor and dining environment are wonderful. It is definitely one of those places we love to share with friends and family.
