Our server Steph W was amazing. We were celebrating a birthday and she was very attentive and helpful. The kitchen seemed to be off their timing, it took longer than expected for our appetizers and then another wait for the main course. All the food was delicious. Steph was good about letting us know how much longer for the food. It seemed odd as the place was not overly busy. Thanks for a great venue to celebrate our occasion.
We have always made it an attempt to dine at Palisades whenever we are in town which is once or twice a year. The food is always great, the offerings inventive twists, the view is wonderful and the staff is very good. This time, we were a little disappointed by the length of time it took to have water glasses refilled, to receive our food and just the attentiveness of our waiter. Owning a small business, I understand how hard it is to keep good people and it seems that, although our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable, he had quite a few other tasks to perform...we think as he was in the kitchen quite a bit. There were only 2 servers on our weekday/noontime visit. That being said, the food was great and we had a nice time.
I don’t enjoy seeing an additional service fee on my bill. For people who manage to come even on a tight budget won’t appreciate a 5% surprise on the bill.
Variety of the buffet was not the best. It has been better other times but the quality of the food was very good and as always the service was excellent
The view was utterly incredible and our server was fantastic! She was so accommodating and wanting to assist in preparing dishes separately for her, especially as my friend has some significant food allergies (this was during the brunch buffet). While some items in the buffet were not ideal, the overall experience was great.
We enjoyed celebrating our anniversary at Palisades. We were there on a weekday for an early dinner so was not very crowded. Had wonderful table next to window overlooking Elliot Bay and the Seattle skyline. The service was great. They even gave us a nice card and rose petals to help us celebrate plus a complimentary dessert. This is our favorite restaurant in Seattle.
We thoroughly enjoyed our Brunch at Palisades! The Eggs Benedict and Creme Brulee french toast were our favorites. Excellent service and we did not feel rushed at all. It was SO much better than the Brunch at Salty's!
I reserved a table for my birthday. I booked through the Open Table and specifically asked for a good table. Our table was not ready at the time of reservation. When we were finally ushered to our table, it was in the middle if busy traffic, far away from the window, without a view and next to a crying baby. I was very disappointed and was ready to leave. The hostess decided to intervene and asked me what my concerns were. As I was expressing my concerns, she interjected me that I was being rude. The manager then came to tell me that the hostess accused me for yelling at her! The manager found a table that is half-way decent fir my party but it was not the usual good experience that I had with this restaurant.
Wonderful evening with my Mom - food was great but what really stood out was the service. She was phenomenal in every way - one of the best service experiences I’ve ever had (and I dine out regularly, all around the world). Our server was even more impressive than the view, which I didn’t think could be beat.
Fabulous brunch for a special birthday!
Our waiter ANTONIO made it especially enjoyable.
We will be back again soon, and ask to be seated in Antonio’s section!

Absolutely perfect. Our server, Nash, made the night so so special! Thank you!
My husband and I took my mom for her birthday and everything was perfect. The food was better than we remembered and everyone was very nice.
The food never disappoints me, and our waitress was exceptional! We went there for a belated Valentines Day dinner, in which I was glad that Palisades had a Valentines Day menu that they carried through the weekend. I loved the Cupid’s Valentines Dual dessert, which had various chocolate vs. vanilla dessert items.
We went on a busy night. They kindly accommodated our request to be seated in a quieter area. The overall experience is not what I used to remember the Palisades to be.
Valentines Day dinner. We both enjoyed the Prix Fixe menu for the evening. The food came out quickly and was cooked perfectly. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the drinks and the menu. We will definitely be back!
My girlfriend and I came in from San Diego to try out Palisade. We had a great experience. All of our food was cooked to temperature and the view was unreal! I would recommend this restaurant to my friends that are looking to impress their dates!
It was wonderful just as every time we go there. Unmatchable services and food...
Excellent restaurant for quality seafood! Great date/special occasion restaurant. The service was top notch! Absolutely worth the price.
Beautiful view. Great service and very good food. The fish pond and bridge is kind of kitschy but overall it is a special place to have a fine meal.
The delicious food and impeccable service are tops at Palisade. The view, of course, is wonderful, too. You must try the PuPu Platter to start if your party has 3 or more guests. The tenderloin bits and crab cakes are tasty and the presentation is grand. Delicious, creative cocktails, super fresh seafood, - I had dungeness stuffed Mahi Mahi, crisp polenta & charred lemon, while my husband enjoyed prime rib cooked perfectly as ordered. Beautiful desserts and coffee drinks to top off an unforgettable evening. Can’t wait to return!
Living wage tax on bill a big turn-off.
Had a fantastic time and dinner at Palisades last week. Our waitress, Lisa, was excellent, Making sure our food arrived in good order, handling all of our requests, and having a cheerful disposition. She made our experience that much more enjoyable.
Wonderful as usual
I took myself to brunch to celebrate after I finished a race. Service was wonderful and food was so yummy! That Tillamook Au Gratin casserole stuff... Omg. 🤤
I had a wonderful time at Palisades. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious.
I've been dining at Palisade since they first opened 25+ years ago. It has never failed to please.
From the view to the service to the food, the experience is wonderful!
They had rose petals waiting on the table with an anniversary card for us. Such a lovely touch. Dinner was excellent and the dessert even had a printed chocolate wishing us a Happy Anniversary.
I liked the old menu with more fish choices done different ways ( cedar plank, grilled, etc )
Birthday celebration was wonderful.
Our server was excellent and our table was perfect. We had requested a window or booth and were given the window/booth table between the bar and dining room. It was perfect. Plus, we
The risotto was very disappointing. Flavor OK, but the texture and appearance was quite a disappointment.
Had a friend visiting from Hawaii. She knows food, especially seafood and was delighted with her meal. Had a lot of wine and dessert too. All was delicious. Service was excellent.
Amazing food and service and for what you get surprisingly very reasonable pricing. Our waitress was so very attentive and always made sure our glasses were filled. Food was cooked to perfection and of course it's hard to beat the view. Can't wait to go back soon!
First, let me say that I've been to Palisade several times and it has always been a favorite of mine because of it's unique location in Elliot Bay, the quality of food, the service, and the ambiance. However, I decided to go for my birthday this past weekend and there was something that generally was a little off. The food quality was not where I remember it being, and the value was clearly tied, more to the escalation of general costs of dining out in Seattle and the location; rather than high quality food, decent portions, and excellent service. I don't think this was their best night, as there were several celebrations going on in the restaurant; including my birthday. I had a seafood combo, and I would venture to guess that I probably got 4-5 ounces of protein, in the form of a small piece of King salmon, 2 medium scallops, and 1 prawn. My wife had the salmon, that was set upon a kale leaf and potato/fennel hash; the presentation was not what either of us were accustomed to based on previous visits. Needless to say, we left less than satisfied and bewildered, questioning whether we received fair value for the money.
Had good entrees but below average appetizers and dessert. lobster/crab bisque extremely salty and not appetizing. Cheesecake and bread pudding too dense
This place is amazing! Loved the whole experience, and the staff were al phenomenal
We celebrated our engagement and it was a beautiful place to do it. Everything from ambience, views, people, and food were great! My only comment is that the food was too salty for me but I would still go back.
