Enjoyed our experience very much. Our server was wonderful.
Beautiful views. Attentive server and delicious food. Would recommend to everyone.
Enjoyed everything about Palisade...setting, food and our server was exceptional. Went during Restaurant week so value was great.
Loved Palisade, but tonight’s experience was so disappointing it will be my last. Found foreign object in my food, looked like plastic or a wrapper about 2”long and didn’t want to say anything but one of the servers helpers came by to see if we needed anything and we mentioned it, he apologized and said he would inform a manager. Up to then, everything was being handled well, then the manager came to inform me that is was a red onion peel and not to worry. No apology. I know my veggies, it was not an onion peel... missed opportunity to make a loyal customer happy and listened too, may great restaurants in Seattle, guess they don’t need any more.
Exceptional night out! Great service, yummy food served beautifully and a wonderful evening celebrating a birthday!
It was great! Their service is always impeccable and food is always good.
Palisades continues to be the”Gran Dam” of Seattle waterfront dining. Beginning to show her age a little in decor and service is good but not what I would call attentive. We will be back
Food was ok.
View from dining room awesome.
I asked for no mashed potatoes, but my dish came with masked potatoes. Server said she told the kitchen, but she was not the deliverer. No offer to make my plate right. Every bite of food had touched the potatoes. Though I am not allergic, I hate potatoes. My meal was a disaster, but my partner's food was fine. For a restaurant such as Palisade, I expected more care to be taken with my order, and any sort of "fix" offered when the problem was pointed out.
Wonderful experience!!! Service & food were outstanding!
Great ambiance, service and food quality. My only complain is Palisade slipped in a 4.9% surcharge to the bill and called it service charge, sort of imposed by city of Seattle for minimum wage it has to pay its servers. I believe it is unfair and should have been disclosed to customers before they order instead of when they get the bill, Guests may get mad and under tip servers to make up for this 4.9%. Owner should raise price on Menu instead and let buyers beware.
It was a great way to celebrate my boyfriends birthday. He had a wonderful time and enjoyed everything about Palisade from the greeting, servers, food, and the view.
I had always looked forward to lunch or dinner at Palisade and this time I had hoped to share a great experience with a new friend who had not ever been there. The view is spectacular! Unfortunately, the restaurant has changed markedly since my last visit. We both ordered the ahi appetizer and the filet mignon medium rare. It took an exceedingly long time for the cold appetizer to arrive even though the restaurant was half empty. It was rather bland, since we chose not to inundate the tuna with sauce and we requested wasabi-- this also took a very long time to arrive at our table. Finally, our steak arrived and mine was well done-- I could not find our waitress to even send the order back for 15 minutes. I, of course, insisted that my friend enjoy her lunch while it was warm. By the time I actually received my lunch, my friend had finished hers. I hope you have a better experience and I certainly miss the wonderful restaurant of the past.
Lovely birthday celebration
Went here for my birthday during the restaurant week special. The service was lovely and the location is beautiful. We sat by the window and really enjoyed ourselves. I am very disappointed with this restaurant though because the food was really bad and I really wanted it to be good. I ordered the macadamia nut crusted Mahi mahi. The fish was extremely dry and didn’t have any flavor, the roasted potatoes also didn’t have any flavor and were super mushy. My meal also came with some chard that was extremely bitter and gross. I had about two bites of my meal. My fiancé ordered the surf and turf which was alright. The potato gratin was pretty good, the steak was alright, and the prawns were very good. We both agreed that we wouldn’t go back, but were very disappointed since we loved the atmosphere and service so much.
Treated our friends to dinner since they had never been.
Delicious! Super fresh seafood and many delicious hot items.
Iconic NW food. Delicious and plentiful. My special requests were granted and more. Lovely view as always. Great place for a celebration and/or for visiting guests.
Our waiter was simply fantastic! He took care of us and gave the birthday woman, my mom, the perfect dessert based on her dietary restrictions, which he gathered from her entree order!!
Great food, great ambiance, some of the best service we have had in quite some time.
What a great place to meet and talk. We were not rushed or neglected. The highlight was the flourless chocolate cake with really good coffee.
Went there for our 40th anniversary. Food definitely special occasion prices, but delicious. Great views. Service outstanding—they put a card and rose petals on our table in honor of our anniversary and also gave us an anniversary dessert for no charge!
Very nice overall. Thank you
As always, Sarah was the best and want her section again next time. She remembered us and our preferences. Everything was excellent. My favorite Seattle restaurant!
Wonderful as always
We went specifically for the first of the season Halibut. It did not disappoint. The preparation was excellent. Our favorite server, Stephanie, was awesome as usual.
Hard to get that window table.
Outstanding food, great service
We had the black cod and the mahi mahi. Both were very good. The view was spectacular and we were provided a table at the window upon request. The only negative was our waitress. She was less than engaged. After we received our food she never came back to check on us, fill our wine glasses or anything. When she did finally appear my husband commented that he thought she had left. She was apologetic but not sure why she was so disengaged. They weren't that busy and she wasn't the only person there.
Our server Steph W was amazing. We were celebrating a birthday and she was very attentive and helpful. The kitchen seemed to be off their timing, it took longer than expected for our appetizers and then another wait for the main course. All the food was delicious. Steph was good about letting us know how much longer for the food. It seemed odd as the place was not overly busy. Thanks for a great venue to celebrate our occasion.
We have always made it an attempt to dine at Palisades whenever we are in town which is once or twice a year. The food is always great, the offerings inventive twists, the view is wonderful and the staff is very good. This time, we were a little disappointed by the length of time it took to have water glasses refilled, to receive our food and just the attentiveness of our waiter. Owning a small business, I understand how hard it is to keep good people and it seems that, although our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable, he had quite a few other tasks to perform...we think as he was in the kitchen quite a bit. There were only 2 servers on our weekday/noontime visit. That being said, the food was great and we had a nice time.
I don’t enjoy seeing an additional service fee on my bill. For people who manage to come even on a tight budget won’t appreciate a 5% surprise on the bill.
Variety of the buffet was not the best. It has been better other times but the quality of the food was very good and as always the service was excellent
The view was utterly incredible and our server was fantastic! She was so accommodating and wanting to assist in preparing dishes separately for her, especially as my friend has some significant food allergies (this was during the brunch buffet). While some items in the buffet were not ideal, the overall experience was great.
We enjoyed celebrating our anniversary at Palisades. We were there on a weekday for an early dinner so was not very crowded. Had wonderful table next to window overlooking Elliot Bay and the Seattle skyline. The service was great. They even gave us a nice card and rose petals to help us celebrate plus a complimentary dessert. This is our favorite restaurant in Seattle.
We thoroughly enjoyed our Brunch at Palisades! The Eggs Benedict and Creme Brulee french toast were our favorites. Excellent service and we did not feel rushed at all. It was SO much better than the Brunch at Salty's!
I reserved a table for my birthday. I booked through the Open Table and specifically asked for a good table. Our table was not ready at the time of reservation. When we were finally ushered to our table, it was in the middle if busy traffic, far away from the window, without a view and next to a crying baby. I was very disappointed and was ready to leave. The hostess decided to intervene and asked me what my concerns were. As I was expressing my concerns, she interjected me that I was being rude. The manager then came to tell me that the hostess accused me for yelling at her! The manager found a table that is half-way decent fir my party but it was not the usual good experience that I had with this restaurant.
