My girlfriend and I came in from San Diego to try out Palisade. We had a great experience. All of our food was cooked to temperature and the view was unreal! I would recommend this restaurant to my friends that are looking to impress their dates!

Beautiful view. Great service and very good food. The fish pond and bridge is kind of kitschy but overall it is a special place to have a fine meal.

The delicious food and impeccable service are tops at Palisade. The view, of course, is wonderful, too. You must try the PuPu Platter to start if your party has 3 or more guests. The tenderloin bits and crab cakes are tasty and the presentation is grand. Delicious, creative cocktails, super fresh seafood, - I had dungeness stuffed Mahi Mahi, crisp polenta & charred lemon, while my husband enjoyed prime rib cooked perfectly as ordered. Beautiful desserts and coffee drinks to top off an unforgettable evening. Can’t wait to return!

Had a fantastic time and dinner at Palisades last week. Our waitress, Lisa, was excellent, Making sure our food arrived in good order, handling all of our requests, and having a cheerful disposition. She made our experience that much more enjoyable.

From the view to the service to the food, the experience is wonderful!

They had rose petals waiting on the table with an anniversary card for us. Such a lovely touch. Dinner was excellent and the dessert even had a printed chocolate wishing us a Happy Anniversary.

First, let me say that I've been to Palisade several times and it has always been a favorite of mine because of it's unique location in Elliot Bay, the quality of food, the service, and the ambiance. However, I decided to go for my birthday this past weekend and there was something that generally was a little off. The food quality was not where I remember it being, and the value was clearly tied, more to the escalation of general costs of dining out in Seattle and the location; rather than high quality food, decent portions, and excellent service. I don't think this was their best night, as there were several celebrations going on in the restaurant; including my birthday. I had a seafood combo, and I would venture to guess that I probably got 4-5 ounces of protein, in the form of a small piece of King salmon, 2 medium scallops, and 1 prawn. My wife had the salmon, that was set upon a kale leaf and potato/fennel hash; the presentation was not what either of us were accustomed to based on previous visits. Needless to say, we left less than satisfied and bewildered, questioning whether we received fair value for the money.

We have been to their brunch many times over the past 5 years or so. We love the ambience. However the food menu seems to be basically the same every time. They could offer some more options that are dairy free and gluten-free in addition to their already large menu.

Palisade is my favorite restaurant to take my granddaughter to for her birthday each year. They have a wonderful children’s menu (sorry it ages out at 11) and a good early eating menu for adults. If you let them know if is a birtday celebration ahead of time they will put rose petals and a birthday card on the table. The dessert for the birthday person is very nice and comes with an edible chocolate Happy Birthday sign. My granddaughter dresses up for this outing and always hopes that we will retain the tradition of eating at Palisade.

Chef Bret created one of finest meals I've had anywhere-blackened steel head, white asparagus, mushroom mashed potatoes. In addition the lobster/crab bisque was exquisite. Coupled with the view on a clear day, this experience was a slam dunk for a birthday treat.
The chef was kind enough to come out to meet my friend and me after the meal, and our server was helpful and friendly.

I was disappointed. I had been here several times in last 40 years. Presentation of our plates was careless and maybe rushed looking. Food did not look appetizing. It tasted overcooked and sort of stale tasting versus fresh. The space was cold and mostly vacant. Maybe if they filled one part of this super large restaurant and then open another section it would feel more warm and welcoming. Because there were so many options for where to seat us it would have more sense to give us a view table. I probably will not return. Given the quality of our dinner is was way over priced. One good note is that staff and manager or host were pleasant and professional.

I was here in 2017 and was impressed with the selection I returned 2919 and I was shocked at the difference!! Had a not sprained my ankle that morning I would have left to go somewhere else once I saw how few selections were available. In a town that surrounded my water there was barely any seafood. The oysters were shooters YUCK! I have more shrimp out when I have a dinner party at my own house. Truly not worth the money except for $10 mimosas and the creme brûlée. Not worth the money when there are other choices! View of course is always good.

Always a great experience! Sarah was outstanding as always! She is the portrait of Service Excellence EVERY time! The view is spectacular, even on a rainy day/night. The food was amazing. We had the Crab & Lobster dip and Lobster Bisque (both to die for!). Entrees Surf & Turf and Filet were perfectly prepared. Finished with the best Creme Brûlée we have ever had! Can’t say enough great things about Palisades! Have been coming here for 15years now and it NEver disappoints!

Poor service had to wait forever once seated for a waitress. Buffet was not very good and way overpriced. Two of us had one drink and the buffet and it was $170.00 plus tip. Turkey and stuffings were very dry. Sushi not good. Like Palisade for dinner and brunch but not for the Christmas buffet. Too costly and not good food.

Palisade has no pretenses about what it is: glamour, entertainment, hoopla vs. fine dining. The food is just fine, nothing better. The atmosphere is what counts. The view across the Magnolia marina, the sight of the heron nesting just below the front window, the breakwaters holding against Elliott Bay. You don't come here to reminisce; you come here to take a quick breath and say "ah!" We were especially lucky because our server, DeDe, was all about service and fine dining even in a place where it doesn't normally happen. She knew about wines, and cutlery, and eating in courses, and she was wonderful. Also amusing with a great sense of humor. We thanked her profusely for working on Christmas Day, and she demurred. I hope her teenage son realizes how much she puts herself out for him.
