Always good pizza. They really need to work with their hostesses. Really, really. She wanted us to wait to be seated because we were 10 minutes early :( So we stood around as we were hungry then tried to rush us out of the table because they had another reservation to get ready for and needed to put several tables together, which included the 1 I stood around waiting for.
My family visits here as a group about 5 times a year for a pizza party. We absolutely love their pizza. I would with out a doubt recommend Palermo’s for their pizza. I do have one complaint, and this is something that I did not notice before, my wife had two drinks “on the rocks” and when the bill came I noticed a charge for $2.00 for “Rocks”. I was shocked that I was charged for Ice. My goodness that $2.00 would have bought me an entire 8lb bag of Ice. Suggestion to Palermo’s, charge a dollar more for the drink and stop the “Rocks” charge.
Waiter was not good at all!
Best pizza in Chicago since the day the doors opened
Consistently great food great service with reasonable pricing
Service was great the server was the best
Good time for all
Always great! Best pizza anywhere. We will go back again and again. It never disappoints.
All the meals we ate were delicious and of course the pizza is always the best
If you are dining at Palermo's on 95th, be sure to bring your appetite. Their portions are generous. As a long-time resident of the area I've dined there many times. The preparation of their food is consistently good. I would suggest reservations during peak hours of lunch and dinner for optimum chance of being seated at a specific time. They also have a great selection of items on their carry-out menu.
We had pizza ; my partner's parents who grew up in Chicago and now live in Michigan specifically requested to come to Palermo's to get pizza. There was a problem with our order that we didn't even notice until the server came to ask us how things were and mentioned the problem (an ingredient left off the pizza.) I was so impressed that they were proactive in solving the problem for us. Definitely will be back and recommend to friends in the future for good service and tasty pizza.
The pizza is so good. We came from Michigan for the pizza. The server made a mistake on our pizza. There was no cheese on part of our pizza. She brought out another pizza but it wasn’t thin and crispy like we ordered. It was disappointing since we live so far away. We came just for thin and crispy pizza and when our order was wrong it was a bummer.
The pasta was not like the first time I had been at Palermo's. It was bland with no taste. We had visited Palermos about 1 year ago. What a difference a year makes.
You took the reservation and the restaurant was closed.
been coming to palermos for years. spot on as usual
I would recommend the chicken marsala.
the waitress was great, we had to wait at less a good 25 to 30 minutes for our meals, lasagna and chicken alfredo....too long. Very disappointed!
We attended the South Side Irish Parade on Sunday and needed a place to celebrate with friends. This was the place to go. We ordered pizza and had some drinks. The waitress has to be one of the best we ever had - fun, engaging and overall nice woman. We will be back.
Loved the sauce on the pizza. Service was friendly and attentive.
Food was great. Service was a bit slow, but not too bad.
Kyle was great very personable right on top of things we got our food in a timely fashion hope to see you soon thanks. Lillian Quirino
We have been going here for years it is my husband favorite restaurant. On our last visit we were really shocked and disappointed. We won’t stop ordering the pizza but changed our minds on the other dishes.
The atmosphere was nice and pleasant. Just make sure when the waiters wrap your left overs to go. They take the plates at the table separately. The waiter assured me he would not mix up my food with another guest at my table, but when I got ready to enjoy my leftovers the next day, I realized I had my friends good instead of mine.
We love Palermo's. Worth the half hour drive it takes us to get there. Our server was incredible! Kid friendly...cozy, family atmosphere or good for a date night. Pizza is amazing. Sweet sauce. Baked clams were delicious.
Palermo’s never disappoints! Great Italian food with wonderful service!
Every dish we had was delicious! Great authentic Italian with charm. Can't wait to go back.
Food was outstanding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was our first time at Palemo's and we loved it. The staff could not have been nicer nor more efficient. The food was delicious and the portion size was very generous. We shared one veal parmigiana, had enough for two of us and took home enough for our daughter's dinner!
Palermo's 95th, in Oak Lawn, has been a family favorite for over 40 years. There are a lot of Italian restaurants in the Chicago area, but Palermo's is our favorite, by far. This visit was for the thin crust pizza. Salad and appetizers are reasonably priced. The restaurant is usually very busy on the weekend, so making a reservation through OpenTable is a great way to avoid a long wait.
Great food & Great Service= WE LOVED IT
I have been coming to Palermo's most of my life as well some in the group I was with. Great place to meet up with family and friends. The food, the staff and the ambiance is fantastic.
Would highly recommend!
Best pizza ever. Can’t wait to eat here when I come back home. Had the BEST waiter ever. So polite and attentive.
The food, service and the entire dining experience was great. However, I thought I had registered successfully to use my OpenTable gift, but was unable to redeem it. I had
activated the acknowledgement code from the gift that was given to me, but obviously,
I had missed a step that would have led to the redemption process. I paid with my own credit card and will have work on mastering the complexities of gift card redemption via OpenTable.
Palermo’s is one of our favorites!! Absolutely delicious Italian cuisine. Pizza is the best on the Southside of Chicago (my husband could live on this pizza for the rest of his life!!). Our waitress, Trish, was awesome. She made sure we were satisfied at all times. She was on top of drink refills without even asking. We love Palermo’s!!
We are in our 60s and have been eating Palermos practically our whole life, starting with 63rd St. Then going to 95th St. when they opened. Excellent food!!!!
Sylvia and I went New Years Day. 1:00. The restaurant was almost empty. The waitress was an older lady who had been there a long time. She was very nice, food was al dente, good portions, and the chefs will modify your order whenever possible.
We always go to Palermos for New Year’s Eve dinner
Food always good. Service not so much. Long wait for waitress to take and bring orders and did not check on us very frequently. Dinner entrees not as good as previously but pizza is always top notch.
Entree's were homemade and very tasty... drinks and deserts awesome!
