Palace Kitchen in Seattle, Washington is an upscale eatery that offers an open kitchen concept to allow guests to watch the chefs at work. Settle in for dinner at one of the booths with low, intimate lighting and enjoy fresh, seasonal food that is served late into the night. Diners at Palace Kitchen love the whole trout, chicken and burger that are grilled over the apple wood grill in house.
We had not been to the Palace Kitchen in several years and were very pleasantly reminded of the quality of food and service that are so characteristic of it and the other Tom Douglas restaurants in the area. We had an excellent meal, the service was first rate and the wine list, while not expansive was just perfect for our dinners. We will gladly return.
It was amazing. I was surprised at how great the food was and the service was perfect. Will definitely be back and definitely recommend
Loved it! Our server was awesome and friendly. We were seated well before our reservation time.
Food was delicious and the service was on point. Love the ambiance as well. We will be back!
Tom Douglas could make grampa’s 50 yr old leather shoe into a marvelous meal. Creativity intersects with familiarity resulting in a great memorable meal. Seattle is expensive and the Palace Is challenged to balance price vs. value - even so: give them a shot.
Very pleased with the dining experience.Great food: appetizers, entrees and desserts. Great service. Loved the music selection. Look forward to returning.
Best and Coolest restaurant in Seattle...the room has a big city feel but the menu has localized ingredients and soul warming dishes. Lots a restaurants come and go but the Palace remains the measuring stick.
We came in for a quick dinnner before a show. Each plate we ordered was delicious. Services was perfect. Made it to the show on time.
Creative and tasty. Great combinations of flavors and appealing presentation. This was our first time at this restaurant and we would return anytime.
I ordered the short rib risotto, which was just ok. The short rib was overcooked so that it tasted more like well done roast beef, but the appetizer I chose was absolutely amazing. The plin (hand made pork ravioli in brown butter sage sauce) was so delicious that I am sure that I will dream about it. The sevice was very good and I would eat there again when I return to Seattle.
Good location, vibrant atmosphere. They were out of one of the ordered entrees, and the Gumbo & Jerk Pork Chop lacked imagination and heat. Very attentive staff. Best food was their hand-cut, pre-soaked French fries.
Three of our party had the fried turkey leg which was so so with marginal sides. My girlfriend had the Royale Burger ordered medium rare but she found it to be dry and unappealing. I brought this to the attention of our server and she had it removed from the bill. Over all we were disappointed with the experience.
Excellent food and service. Too noisy for conversation especially with hearing aids
Good food. Too noisy. Convenient to Westin Hotel. b
Second time visit from out of town and it was terrific! Sometimes servers dial it in when asked for recommendations but not here. Steered us to spot on selections after hearing some of our input and questions. That was truly genuine and showed the passion of the restaurant as a whole. Will be b.c. ack every time we hit Seattle!
Chef stan is killin it!!! Our food was heavenly. We were in that separate little room, which is quiet, but not as atmospheric... all is forgiven for the great meal and pleasant drinks.
We had great service and great food! Nothing but the best at this Tom Douglas restaurant. The street corn was delicious and the carbonara was perfectly flavored. Our server was attentive and friendly.
Best waitress ever-Tara Wiedenman. Perfect pacing, great food recommendations, great suggestions on things to do in Seattle. Jerk pork chop was succulent and tasty and clams with andouille sausage was equally good. Great ambiance. We’ll be back.
We found the food just ok, and the prices were very high for what we experienced. Lighting was a little too dark for us.
Service was absolutely outstanding, definitely will be coming back. They take good care of you and the food is excellent
Absolutely outstanding staff and of course the food was excellent. The staff is always accommodating to special requests and the service is prompt without being obtrusive.
Great food and service but smokiness could have been less prominent.
The apple wood grill trout was amazing - highly recommend it. The old fashioned was well made too!
We have enjoyed Palace Kitchen every time we have been there. The food is always excellently prepared, creative and completely delicious. The service was just right with great attention to our needs, useful advice and very personable and approachable. Even though Seattle has a lively and interesting food scene, we always try to visit Palace at least once whenever we head to Seattle.
Good food and excellent service.
We visited from out of state and the bartender at the Westin recommended we try this location. We had a great experience!
We went with out of town friends for dinner and was treated cordially throughout the meal service. The food was thoughtfully prepared and fresh. To the restaurant's credit, we were 'comped' two starter dishes when I saw that one of the ordered dishes contained chili peppers. Since two out of four of us were either allergic or did not like chili peppers, the kitchen and staff offered to bring us another starter dish. Palace Kitchen made a good impression on our guests' first visit to Seattle.
I ordered the $29 trout. Absolutely Bland. 3 buddies got the $20 hamburgers. All 3 said their food was mediocre at best
We loved the vibe and darkness of the interior and the service was outstanding. Caesar salad was good and short ribs were flavorful. Sadly, the chicken was juicy but bland.
Great wine selection. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal of pork ravioli app, Caesar, short ribs, and vegetarian entree.
Something for everyone. Service was great!
We found the food to be overwhelmingly flavorful. Having several appetizers and extras sent to our table from the chef. They were supperb. Entries excellent. Only wish we could go more often. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Thanks Kyle and staff.
Each time we visit Seattle we try to have a dinner here. Very pleasant, great food a excellent service!
Everything was outstanding as usual. Server was knowledgeable and gracious. We ordered a mix of seasonal and classic fare - the food was divine. I love bringing family and friends to Palace Kitchen for a special meal.
Another great meal
Excellent menu and preparation, great service. This has been a favorite of ours for the past five years.
Excellent service. Very good burgers. Highly recommended.
What a wonderful night!!! We came in to celebrate our 6yr anniversary and our server Erik P was out of this world amazing!!! From a warm and friendly greeting to on the ball service !!! We will definitely be back to see him and dine.
