Large plates, great tasting food. Quaint restaurant with excellent service and attitude. Definitely will be back.
My chicken franchesa was very good, though the crust wasn't cooked long enough to have a golden brown as should have been. The spaghetti was the same pasta that every other Italian restaurant offers. My wife had spaghetti with meat sauce, which was nothing to write home about. The standard spaghetti was covered with standard premade canned tomato with some tiny meat slices (from the pizza kitchen) laced on top of the meat sauce, which there again, was nothing to write home about. The free standard oil & vinegar tossed wild field salad was something that comes out of a bag,
All in all, this was an average "southern USA Italian joint with semi fancy Italian dishes and pizza. Nothing spectacular !!
We had a mix of appetizers, pasta and pizza. Everything was superb. Great service from a friendly staff. A definite find that we'll return to often!
The pizza was good; the service was good; the ambiance was good. It was fine for a Sat. night with friends- nothing special. Also, the wine list is small and apparently there is a new ordinance that prohibits bringing your own. The county might regret that as we will certainly avoid eating in Gwinnett from now on.
Went on valentines day. Table was ready on time. Food was very good. Because it was so busy service was a little lacking. Overall great place to dine.
I rarely write reviews, but the experience at Paisanos was so good, I had to take the time. I was reluctant to book a reservation here based on the casual appearance of the menu and building, but the food and service is the best I've had in years. I wanted to return the next day for more. We had the chicken eggplant and paisanos stromboli, and they were amazing. But the garlic bread appetizer was beyond anything I've had before. Combined with great service and a comfortable, quiet atmosphere, and I know I'll be back often.
Restaurant had excellent food with a decent wine list, mixed drinks were not as expected, missing the muddling of an old fashion.
Nice place, paper napkins, neighborhood gem and kid friendly.
It had been several years sine we last visited Paizano's and everything was as good as we remember. Great food and service. Will be back soon for sure!
We ordered pizza and salads to share. Food was great. Good beer and wine selections too. Great place to enjoy meal with friends.
Have eaten at Paizano's many times over the years. It's probably been a year since the last visit. Our reservation was handled well on arrival. The Norcross Art Festival staff was having a wrap up party in the restaurant which consumed about 2/3 of the space. The noise level was awful. I couldn't hear the waitress.
The service was terrible. We had a 4-days new waitress that while friendly didn't know the menu at all. She didn't bring the side salads until after entrees were served and we had to ask for them. It took way too long to bring the salads. Everything about the service was just off in one way or another. My wife's sausage and peppers dish was too salty (and I like salt). Our garlic knots appetizer had burned bottoms.
