Paisans Pizza - Berwyn Ratings and Reviews
Love the super thin pizza at Paisians. Parking can be tricky so I usually dine during the weekday or plan to arrive early on the weekends. Great place for some pizza and maybe Gelato. Very trendy/industrial decor and it works very well. Food and service consistent. I would definitely recommend to others.
I was disappointed that not one person at Paisans didn’t even acknowledged that they had received my revised reservation regarding if they had anything special regarding birthdays due to the fact it was my wife’s birthday. All I was looking for was like a piece of cake or cupcake but nothing. I purchased desert.
Food is great, the service needs a little improvement. Seems like the person that took our plates away when we were done with them seemed to be more polite then our actual waiter. This is the second time our waiter is a bit lazy on coming to our table. But first time leaving a review.
Great restaurant. Wish I had one closer to home. Love their thin crust pizza. Great service. Love the atmosphere here. Kinda an industrial look. Parking can be quite limited here in the evenings and weekends so plan to get here early, use valet or plan to carry out. I usually dine during lunch throughout the week.
Great place for large groups. The wings and calamari were great appetizers. We tried the thin pizza. We all enjoyed it, the sauce is really good. If you want it extra thin you will need to ask. We also tried some burgers, the cheesesteak sandwich and the ribs. It was all good and came with fresh cut fries. For dessert we tried the beggars purse, cookie a la mode, fried bananas and some red velvet gelato and it was all delicious.
Every-single-one I come here they are out of the first 2-3 beers I order!!!!!! The service was not good tonight! Bathrooms dirty! That is simply a reflection of poor management- it's st pats day, clean hourly or station someone in there!!!!! Unlikely I will return.
Everything was great, we had a very nice server which sometimes makes the meal. The food was delicious. We were a party of six and everyone enjoyed their food. I don't remember his name, but we were there Saturday evening, we had a reservation for 6 and we sat in the back at a spacious round table.
We had a reservation for 10 made through the open table app, the hostess said that since we made our reservation on the app, and only a few hours ago, we would have to wait longer, the hostess gave us a terrible attitude. Food was great and so was the service. I don't know if the resteraunt doesn't know how to use the app or what, but if they weren't able to accommodate us then why was I able to make the reservation? I feel like we ended up getting lucky that they did get a table for us, otherwise we would have had to wait for who knows how long.
I did order a pizza and it turned out to be wrong, the person who brought it out said they would make another we said that was ok. The Manager came over and said I apologize we put a pizza in the oven the correct way. We would like to get the pizza the way your order it. That was really nice of them. Very great to know that we had an excellence experience there and thank the manager for all he did to accommodate us thank you,
Patrons beware - first let me say this place is and has always been spot on. The food is great and the drinks are awesome. With that said the service needs some work. But this time they hit an all time low in my book. Upon reviewing our bill we noticed an 18% gratuity charge now let me say we tip well and usually at least 20%. But you see the issue I have is that we were a party of 2. Just my wife and I having a quiet dinner. Needless to say we were shocked with the gratuity charge. I just wonder how many people this has been done to. Now we didn't raise a stink or even question it. Paid the bill wrote zero tip on the receipt and left. But Anthony shame on you or whoever is in on this scam!
Celebrated moms 92nd birthday Sunday at Paisans in Berwyn. Great place to bring the home family. Great grandchildren could be a little noisey and great food for everyone. Gramma had a wonderful time with all of her family there with her. Can't find too many restaurants where that can happen.
We went to Paisans for lunch before a house concert in the Berwyn area. We enjoyed everything about our lunch. Great flatbreads, salads & pulled pork! Something for everyone which is sometimes a challenge. Atomosphere was informal with a great urban chic feel. Lots of TV's for sports ; but offered quieter areas for non sports guests.
We are glad to see Paisans will be soon coming to Lisle, near us. Looking forward to trying the pizza...it looked great!
Went for dinner with family and our small children. We had made a reservation and our seating was immediate upon arrival. We had drinks, appetizers, and thin crust pizza. Although our server was friendly, our wait time on just about everything was excessive and we ended up with the whole family being exhausted by the end of the evening. I liked the place itself, loved all the fish tanks, and the food and drinks were very good.
I love the gelato here, it's the best and the portion is generous. Been here many times for lunch, the staff is wonderful. Not so much at dinner. Our waitress forgot the appetizer and had to be asked and she didn't remember what we had ordered. Had the Julius Chicken Caesar salad which would have been even better if the chicken had been warm.
Reserve your table online, do not call in or expect the run around. Managers are happy to work with you if reservations change to more people at the last minute. Place is great for sports events, plenty of TVs at a 360• view. Food is good the beer is better. Waitstaff are pleasant, friendly, and prompt with your orders. Once getting past rude hostess everything is fantastic. Example: we had a party of 10 but reserved for 8, two of us can stand in the bar area. Hostess says, this is a restaurant not a bar. That's where manager came in and was very accommodating. As the night progressed, bar area was full of standing patrons watching the Hawks game.
I have always wanted to try this place and I am glad I did. We had a reservation for 8 for 715 on a Saturday night. Let me tell you the place was jam packed! If you do not have a reservation the wait would be an hour plus. We had several apps and 3 different kinds of pizza and nothing disappointed. Large wine and beer list with great atmosphere. Although the place was crowded the service was spot on. No lengthy waits and very attentive. I am looking forward to going back.
