    Pairings has always been a consistently wonderful experience, and this visit was no exception. The rib eye was cooked perfectly, crab soup was delicious, and Phillip was a fantastic server. We will be back again soon!

    My wife and I usually go to Pairings once a year to celebrate an anniversary, birthday, etc. We have always had a great experience, but this past trip may be the last time going. We had a reservation and were seated quickly, but it took 50 minutes to get our first drink and over an hour for appetizers. The food was subpar and my steak was cooked well done after ordering medium rare. For the prices being charged, we were very upset with the overall experience.

    We enjoyed our rare night out at Parings. My husband has Parkinsons. They accommodated his needs very well. The service and food was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.

    Our server, Matt gave us excellent service. The oysters on half sells were small but deliciously sweet. Our lamb chops were to be medium rare, even though the chef preferred medium and were medium. They had a great herb crust but the meat was tasteless, grade of lamb? The Zinfandel was an excellent pairing choice for the main course. Unfortunately not good enough that we want to go again.

    Came for birthday dinner, would not return! The food wasn't good at all, so bad I couldn't take a food pic. Shrimp n grits were swimming in oil n flavorless, steak not cooked to my liking. Overpriced below average food. Server had to be asked to refill water and for the desert menu. I expected more!!!!

    The pizzas taste like they're using factory made, bland crusts. The mixed drinks have only hints of alcohol. The Arancini special and beet salad were the highlight of the dinner and the waiter was a gem. The ambience is great. If only the actual food was worth going for, I could recommend this place. Otherwise, I only go there when dragged by others

    Our server was Brady. After presenting the specials for the evening he took our drink and appetizer order. He was very attentive at the proper times. Our food arrived in a reasonable time after the appetizer and drinks. The entrees were superb! There were two orders of the small filet and one for the snapper special. Pairings is a wonderful venue for special occasions. Dining there is not inexpensive.

    We both ordered the Black Angus Au Poivre and the wine that was suggested to pair it with. We split the Caprese Salad. The waiter did a very nice job and the food was excellent.

    This was our first time there. We decided to try a new place for our one year anniversary and this place didn’t disappoint. We got the 3 course meal with the wine pairings and the server spaced everything out evenly so we could finish not only the food but the wine. I’m not a big wine person so he made sure to ask how each wine was and if I didn’t like it, he would switch it out. 10/10 for everything :)

    The quality of the food was excellent. It was delicious. The wine pairings were fun. We tried wines that we had not had previously. Our waiter had the perfect level of being attentive but not intrusive. The tables were a bit too close together for our liking. This detracts from a feeling of conversational privacy.

    A spontaneous dinner out with my wife after a long week. We’ve been here a number of times before but not for a while. Brady was a great server and gave us time over our cocktails as we unwound, then had great suggestions for dinner and wine pairings, even bringing us a couple of tastes. The Daily Catch special was Rockfish, which my wife got, but they were low on it and I got Grouper as a sub. Both were excellent! The food was well prepared and presented, and absolutely delicious! The expansion of the bar and market area are a great compliment to the restaurant. Highly recommend!

    A special birthday celebration was made xtra nice with a complimentary wine. Service was excellent. Food was outstanding. The dessert was to die for. The dining room was a little loud, but it was a busy Saturday night. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu, and when stumped, got right back with the answers. I would recommend this casual dining experience to anyone! Thanks for being my favorite neighborhood restaurant!

    We celebrated our anniversary with Pairings again this year. And as usual they made us feel special with a special toast and some amazing dishes. We really enjoyed the rock oysters and smoked salmon. We both did the 3 pairings meal and enjoyed some new dishes this time around. We love checking out pairings and what they have to offer. We will be back soon.

    Hidden gem in Harford County. Quaint country wine lodge ambiance with delicious food. Opt for wine pairings with each course expertly matched by the sommelier or choose for yourself from the extensive wine list and full bar. We discovered Pairings when we choose them to cater our wedding. Couldn’t have made a better choice. Went to the restaurant for our 5th anniversary last week to savor our memories and their delicious cuisine.

    We had an amazing time for our first time here. My wife found this bistro to celebrate our wedding anniversary and the staff and the place was phenomenal. The minute we walked in and gave them our name for the reservation, the staff all said Happy Anniversary to us. We got complimentary champagne the minute we sat down. Ambiance is amazing in that it’s intimate but also calm. We didn’t hear anyone else’s conversation. Our waiter Eric was really good and he did such a good job. The food…words cannot even describe how good it was (fresh, locally farmed and made) and a ton of flavor. The drinks were done well. And at the end of our meal, they gave us a Happy Anniversary sign made with chocolate swirl and soft cream on a plate. We love this place and planning to both come back and being friends and family.

    Pairings Bistro has a nice vibe. Perfect for date night or meeting up with fans. Wine selection and pairings - perfect. Appetizers were delicious. Entree and dessert were okay.

    First time there. We got the oysters rock and for $15, only 3 of them seems a little skimpy. They were decent but a 4th would be wise for sharing. The kitchen “got backed up” and our dinner took about 45 minutes to come out from the time we ordered. The filet was cooked beautifully so I guess you could said it was worth the wait. I got the scallops which were also good but I’d consider them to be “lite fare”. All in all, I wouldn’t say I was impressed but it was nice, the facility was clean and the staff were nice. We’d go back, just not in a rush.

    We have been here several times and the food is great as well as the service. For some reason our food was very slow coming out to us. I’ll definitely return but hope we don’t have slow food service again.
