We really enjoyed the atmosphere, how far apart tables were placed and the lighting. Service was wonderful - thank-you Eric! And the food delicious. We will definitely be returning.
Food was amazing, the best wine selection around. They had live acoustic music which was really good and not to loud. Service was on point as usual.
Pairings was recommended to me by a free. In my opinion, it is the best restaurant in the Belair area.
Great service. Food top quality as usual. Keeps us coming back. Love the seasonal items incorporated
Everything was wonderful. The food had seasonal flavors that were incredible. Our server was just so pleasant and sweet. The rooms are beautiful. It's a great place.
Nice place. The food was very good. The wine pours were generous! The only critique I have is that it took forever for us to receive our meals (sandwiches and a charcuterie board). I think they were low staffed in the kitchen—we attended on a weekend afternoon (we were one of 3 medium sized parties in the entire restaurant as far as I could tell).
Service slow, food good but not great, poor value for the experience.
Ratings in each category speaks for itself. Service, food, & wine selection was outstanding.
Anthony, our server, was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We have never been disappointed with our meals at Pairings. That they outsource locally is a big plus. Love, Love, fresh.
Anniversary dinner! It was excellent would have been nice if they brought a dessert to table
Pairings is my all but I’ve favorite restaurant. I can always count on Pairings making me feel better after a long hard day. The staff are excellent and knowledgeable. The food is superb! I can’t say enough!
We were in for my wife’s birthday and the experience was really what had heard and then some. The service by Hannah was impeccable. The food was amazing and the pairings were perfect. 1st Course - cheese/charcuterie and artichoke dip. 2nd - crab soup and beet salad. 3rd - chicken and bistro steak frites. 4th - chocolate tres leches and hot spice cake. AWESOME! What a hidden gem! Great job overall!!!
This was the 2nd time my wife and I celebrated our Anniversary there. We will do it again one day. Excellent service :)
My wife and I had an amazing anniversary dinner just the right amount of attention and leaving us to ourselves. The food changes with the season and never disappoints.
Meal and wine was great, however service was very slow. It took us 3 hours to have dinner for 4 people. A little excessive.
The food and pairings were all delicious. Believe it or not my one complaint is when you choose the pairing menu I felt the portions were too large. The food was very good but serving full size menu items with each course is a bit overwhelming. Perhaps they could add a 1/2 portion paring or a sampling with each wine. Now that I know so much food came with each course I would never order the 5 course again. Perhaps we should have been told each course was a full portion. I've eaten at the Charleston downtown and they serve small plates with each pairing. I think that is what I expected. Overall I will return but would only order one item and perhaps their suggested pairing. I love the concept of course pairings but leaving with 1/2 my food boxed or unable to finish a plate took away from the sheer experience of trying different foods with different wines.
I came to Pairings for a business dinner. I haven't been here for years (I've been out of the area), but the food, service and drinks were even better than I remembered. I requested a wine pairing and had a Pinot Grigio, which was outstanding. My acquaintance ordered the cod special and I ordered scallops, both of which were perfectly cooked and flavorful - the sides complimented the meal and were not overpowering. We both eat quite a bit of seafood and are selective about the preparation. These dished did not disappoint. I finished with a glass of 10yr Tawny - a real treat that is hard to come by. I look forward to coming back soon!
Our first visit to Pairings Bistro was exceptionally nice. Server 'Hannah' was very attentive.
Incredible dining experience! Wonderful service and ambiance.
We had the pleasure of being served by Brady. He did an excellent job of spacing out the courses and was knowledgeable about the food and wine!
At tonight’s dinner I met up with a friend who reminded me that it was $10 off a bottle of wine , with dinner, which is a great deal ... so I got a bottle of wine so delicious and was able to do a “pairing “ with it of their shrimp and grits with a 2017 Cotes Du Rhone red. Absolutely delicious choices.
Food superb, server super helpful and knowledgeable.
We found service a little slow we think due to our server having too many tables. The food was okay, not outstanding. The scallops were slightly overcooked and the shrimp and grits were bland. Not bad just not in keeping with a quality experience restaurant. We have eaten here previously and the food and service have been outstanding. This was a special occasion for us. It was the date of my wife's 81st BD.
Pairings meal is very long but food and service is great
Very friendly staff and delicious food.
Good amount food for the money.
Good food as always, but something was missing this visit....not sure what. The Waiter wasn't quite as attentive as usual and the food although good - could use a change up .
Loved this place! New date night location! Highly recommend!
I had two guests with me, who had never been to Pairings Bistro before. They were impressed with the over all experience. The service, food and atmosphere were excellent, as always. It was a special night for all of us.
Thank you for a memorable night of dining!

Exceptional dining at a reasonable price.
The service was outstanding! Attentive but not rushing you out the door like most places do.
Amazing as always.
Great meal, great service, and great ambiance.
Today my daughter and I went there for a quiet lunch. The lunch specials were excellent I would highly recommend The golden beet salad and of course their most delicious wines. A great place to have a great lunch !
Our first choice for a local restaurant to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Been there many times before for both casual and event dinners. Eric took great care of us despite the large party that showed up. We got the 4-course prix fixe and it was fabulous. The best things about Pairings are the great fresh food and the menu flexibility to make the evening what you want it to be.
The food was outstanding, and our server, Eric, was top notch. We never felt rushed, and each course was delivered after the previous one was finished. We highly recommend this restaurant.
The food was excellent, especially the swordfish and the wine parings with each dish were perfect, was perfect place to celebrate our 44th Anniversary!
On our way home from Baltimore and found on Open Table. Loved it. Got GF and DF wonderful meal.
Our server was exceptionally good. I can’t think of a single thing That needed any improvement!
All went well as usual (the food phenomenal and the pairings spot on). However, the server this time, while friendly, was inattentive and dragged out the meal entirely too long. The entree and desert were waiting for us at the kitchen for an excruciatingly long time. We knew this because we saw the moment the kitchen finished them and watched as our server spent time chatting away with some regular customers at the bar. She actually waited so long on dessert, that the ice cream totally melted and had to be replaced. This was definitely an unusual experience for one of our favorite local restaurants that is Pairings.
The food was delicious. The service was really slow but truthfully it was not the server’s fault. The restaurant was really under staffed. Hopefully this was just a bad day, we all have them. I’d be willing to give a try at a later time.
