When our party of 7 arrived for our 5:30 reservation (on time) we were greeted by the host who was quick to tell us we needed to be done by 7:00 because he had another large group coming in. The restaurant tables were only 1/4 occupied at that time & we were sitting inside. Our server was fantastic & very attentive. My kids loved the Koi ponds & enjoyed feeding the fish. The food was not worth the price of $39.99 per person. If you can dine there during the week when the buffet is cheaper I would say give it a try. The atmosphere is unique & watching the fish was cool. On a side note when we left there were still many empty tables available for the next large party.

They have spruced up the place with paint, new carpeting etc. so it is looking much better than the last time I was there! The food quality is still good and the staff keeps all the dishes replenished regularly. It is a great setting during the day and we had a wonderful time.

Had my son’s birthday dinner at Pagoda and it was fabulous! Got there a bit before the reservation time and they had our table reserved and sat us down right away. We got to eat at the buffet; with it’s many choices everyone was happy! And the desert table was awesome! At the end my son was presented with a “happy birthday” slice of strawberry cheese cake and everyone sang him happy birthday! Loved it!

Food was a little disappointing, nothing special. Like the location, central to most places, the kids enjoyed watching and feeding the carps. The staff was excellent, very responsive and pleasant.

Flavorful food. Delicious prime rib and crab legs. Staff was very friendly, caring and attentive. Would recommend it to anyone. Sweet waitress gave my children Koi food after dinner. I can’t remember her name but she was awesome (local Filipina 30-40ish years old)

Their Sunday Brunch Buffet has a wide variety of foods! A lot of local favorites as well as prime rib, crab legs, and even an omelette station. After brunch, our kids enjoyed walking around outside and feeding the fish and turtles.

Went for the weekend buffet. Pagoda was a tradition till Todai and Makino came.
But the food and service at Makino has degraded so badly, the $39 price and service makes me return to Pagoda.
The prime was delicious, but I fault it because they had no rare, only medium to well-done. Kept running out of steam clams. And the sushi bar only had California Rolls.
Even if the Crab legs were cold, and was immersed in the water on the steam server, it was flavorful and sweet. On some of the legs, when they were cracked open, the meat stuck to the shell.
Thought I could slip under the radar, but I got my birthday song and Cheese cake. Grand daughter was entertained by the strawberry made into a flower. Got upset when I ate it.
Little shy, but was fun.
Since the secret was out, I asked for a Senior discount. Nope... Not old enough... Yet! But I'll be back to claim it.
Later they gave my granddaughter some food to feed the Koi. It was the highlight of the evening for her. She never seen so many colorful fish in a feeding frenzy before.
She even had a chance to have the Koi kiss her hand.
Despite the few flaws on the food line, it was a very enjoyable.

It was my first time there and it was an interesting experience. Some foods were really great. Others, I could barely touch. The price was basically $40 per person for the buffet. However, there were 8 of us, and some of my friends were charged $62. Way more than what was advertised. No explantion was also given to why some got charged even more.

Very poor customer service. Checked-in on time for reservation, waited outside and was called 10 minutes after reservation time. Restaurant was not near full capacity during entire visit. Upon being shown to the table, wait staff took about 15 minutes before asking party of their desired drinks. The food in the buffet area appeared to be appetizing but the taste was very bland with what was selected for consumption. Selection at the dessert station was very limited and did not appear to be maintained for presentation. The assorted fruits appeared to have been sitting for a while and tasted exactly as that. Wait staff stopped once at the table to check on drink refills 15 minutes after completion of meals. The value of the food and overall experience was a bit substandard and I would definitely not recommend to anyone who would be interested in enjoying an unforgettable experience in celebrating or commemorating a special occasion.

We enjoyed the various choices of buffet dishes, particularly the poke & roast pork. The apple pie was very good. And the zensai was a good reminder of traditional times past. The special coupon misoyaki butterfish was very good, according to my dining partner. I was a bit disappointed that it was not the butterfish steaks I had envisioned. Overall, we appreciated the casual atmosphere & informality during this hot summer season. Dining partner said he's looking forward to dining there again. We agreed the price was reasonable & choices advantageous. Nothing much has changed in the interior décor, so it has an old & yet comfortable feeling, which is rather unusual with competitions today.

Pagoda Food, Service and Atmosphere has always been great. My family and I have been coming here for years and it has always been a super enjoyable restaurant to dine. Being local, the food has always been what locals enjoy, a great mix of dishes to include seaffod, salads, great meat items (prime rib), tempura, noodles and don't forget the variety of desserts. All you can eat for a good price. The servise has always been great, always polite and present when needed. We chose Pagoda over other restaurants simply because it's always good food, service and an enjoyable atmosphere for all ages. Many Mahalo's to John and the staff.

There were not as many food options as advertised to be a true buffet. The entries were not labeled at all so you had to guess what was in some dishes and that would be a problem for people with food allergies. The outdoor surrounding the restaurant was a unique twist which was great for sightseeing.

Facilities/decor look like they haven't been updated in 40 years. We used to go there a lot for family celebrations in the 70's and it looks exactly the same. Looks like it could use a good cleaning as the carpet and furniture looked a little scummy. Had to wait for about 10 minutes before the hostess even came to check us in. We had a 7:00 pm reservation. Looks like they were running out of food, but nothing ran out ran out. We just had to scrape the bottom of the pot for the soup and rice. The food was decent buffet food. The crab was pretty good as it was hot. The maki sushi was too big though and the nori was on the inside and chewy so it was hard to eat. The shrimp tempura was good, not too oily and pretty crunchy. Overall, it was a decent meal, but I probably wouldn't come back for another special occasion.

Salad bar is good with spicey ahi, but no tako. Lots of clams - hot and cold was great. Main dishes were okay - nothing special. Dessert is mediocre (had not changed in 20 years) though bread pudding was excellent. Soft serve was melted so you drank it. Realistically, you look at a plate lunch from $12 - $14 on average, the $18 including beverage is a great value.

Asian vibes where there are fishes and a waterfront.. food could be better though.. I've been to a lot of buffets but this particular place didn't really caught my eye. If you want a quick bite this is the place to go.

The roast beef was excellent. The shrimp tempura was skinny and not plump. Crabs were outstanding!

Open table should be sized for a party of four and not a long table since other party seating at the same table feels like cafeteria style rather than a restaurant setting that would be more private. The soft cream maker was more like a shaved ice machine where the ice cream taasted like slush . Pies could be more tasty.

The Pagoda Floating Restaurant was great! We enjoyed taking pictures of the beautiful Koi fish, waterfall and beautiful garden landscape. The girl seated us by the window which was really nice because we were able to see the fish, but why was she seating everyone by us, only on one side of the room and the rest of the room was kind of empty. Until after about an hour, then it started to fill up, so she would fill up the tables on the other side of the room. I just didn't quite understand that, plus when they called us to confirm the reservation, they asked if it was a special occasion and we told them we were celebrating our 34th anniversary, however they didn't do anything special so why did they ask.

I like coming to Pagoda because the crablegs are good and juicy. Everything was great until It came time to pay my bill. My method of payment was a visa reward credit card. The watress said that it declined it several times and that I need another form of payment. I was embarrassed because It was never used yet. As a matter of fact, I activated it the day before. My bill was $98.32 and my visa reward was for $100.00.
I don't understand why it didn't go through.
I used it soon after to see if it was legit and it was. Sincerely Vicky

Great for Sunday brunch with the kids. Buffett selection is pretty decent. More of an Asian theme than the touristy buffets on the strip. My favorites are the poke bar, steamed fish with ginger, and the eggs florentine. The dessert bar has the usual suspects (all delicious) but I especially like the help yourself ice cream sandwiches.

As others note the co-star of this show is the koi pond. Of course the volume of fish and the beauty is stunning but an equally interesting factors is how they are able to safely raise fresh and salt species in the same pond. Koi and pond turtles along side ulua and other salt water tropical fish. We spent as much time at the pond as we did eating.

I highly recommend Pagoda.

The food was great for the value. The service was awesome and our table was always cleared from used plates. (We had the buffet) My children enjoyed the seafood choices and the deserts. We had a small incident with my 9 month old grand daughter and the waitresses were so sweet and cleaned everything for us and made us feel like it was okay. Thank you!
