Pagoda Floating Restaurant
The Pagoda floating restaurant offers private dining for intimate gatherings and banquet rooms for large parties accommodating up to 400.
Great restaurant. Had a good variety of local fare and the atmosphere was amazing. Would definitely go back again.
Good selection on the buffet. Loved seeing the fish pond and koi.
I enjoy everything,
Best family dining we've had in years.
Ambiance, staff, food and value were all amazing. Thank you Pagoda staff for giving our family a nice Valentine's celebration.
Staff service was great! Friendly, responsive. Food was tasty. Only one beef serving on buffet was a little tough. Otherwise buffet options were good and tasty. Some peeling paint and rolling trash can next to bar was a distraction. It was quiet....thank you for that....no blaring music we had to yell over!
Place itself is nice, but that’s about it. The food was not good. Fried rice was hard, chow mein noodles looked the same way. I took chop chae and the noodles were hard like they were under cooked. The teriyaki meat was tough, chicken was a little on the dry side. Only thing that was decent was the fish. Even the dessert was just ok. Probably won’t be going back there.
We love to celebrate special occasions at the Pagoda. Their variety in the buffet menu is always a plus. Prime rib is always a plus!! We love the mix of American and Japanese specialties.
Great food and good service loved the all you can eat crab legs
Good variety of food. Enjoyed the sushi. Reasonable price for a weekday buffet.
Reasonable price for lunch buffet. Wide variety available. The cuisine is skewed toward Japanese.
Recommend window table to enjoy the large koi pond.
Great value at a local restaurant. Unique setting with better that adequate buffet brunch. Well worth the price
I felt our food was taken from the buffet food trays, and not preparrd fresh and plated for us
Great place to bring visitors, the food was great, great place to just eat and socialize.
This Saturday's Lunch buffet was extremely popular with multiple diverse groups celebrating many occasions! Consequently, the normal transquil ambiance was booming with noise and activities from the larger parties which made our small table a bit ovewhelminly loud. The salad bar was depleted by the time we went to see, but overtime, the management and staff did an remarkable job trying to service so many people. Outstanding !
Took my husband for his birthday. We like to go there for their prime rib and crab. Their salad is pretty good too. They gave my husband a nice looking cupcake for his birthday and tasted good but rich. We will go there for their prime rib and crab when we have a craving because their buffet is affordable.
Food was excellent!!! Also host Waitress , waiter was very friendly . They were on it, every time my drink was low , they came to fill it up . Also clean my dirty dish with crab shells etc.
No better place in the Islands for a great all you can eat buffet with king crab legs, prime rib, poke, salads, sushi, ice cream, deserts galore the price will amaze you and affordable for the whole family. Love the Pagoda restaurant and Hotel for all of Honolulu visits from the Big Island of Hawaii.
We live here in Honolulu and had out of town guests to take to lunch. We wanted to go to a place that was close to where our guests were staying and that there was a variety of food in the buffet.
For the price, it was fine. The food at other places would cost alot more and for lunch, most people don't eat much.
Enjoyed ourselves! It was just a little crowded. Overall we had a wonderful time!!!
The breakfast buffet on a Saturday morning is always delicious. The price is right at $14.95/person, $11.95/senior. Basic breakfast (eggs, rice, waffles, pancakes breakfast meats, fruits, cereals) also has salad and my favorite Miso soup. Always after breakfast my friend likes to feed the koi. It is like a diamond in the rough or a nice spot in the middle of an urban jungle.
Food not as good as previous visits. Service and ambiance excellent.
We truly appreciated the accommodations that Kevin made with adjusting our seating to the inside of restaurant instead of the rooms outside because of our seniors. And our server Lisa was fantastic!
Food and service was excellent! ♥️♥️♥️
Went there for their prime ribs and crabs. We were not disappointed. Surprised that their salads was also good. We'll go back again.
Dinner at the Pagoda Floating Restaurant was amazing. The food was delicious. The service was amazing. And the view was spectacular.
The roast beef was quite tough and dry, the turkey was too salty and the stuffing was mushy, the fish had no taste, the noodles were dried out, the soup base had absolutely no flavor, the shoyu chicken was very dry in the center.
However the poke, icecream and dessert selection was very good. The servers were very attentive and quick at clearing our plates.
A real Waikiki gym, charming setting and excellent Hawaiian fare, especially ‘ono’ is the fish. Mahalo for a wonderful evening and excellent dining experience!
My first impression of the Pagoda was the ladies' restroom. It was horrible...2 out of 3 commodes were either not flushable or fill with toilet paper.
The ladies were very accommodating but the food was not too appetizing. We invited friends from the mainland and they were not planning to return to the restaurant.
Today's visit at 12-noon was very busy as there were several groups of people celebrating events in addition to smaller parties. The food was excellent, but the service per table appeared to be a little overwhelmed considering the available staff and the large number of people. However, it seems everyone took it in stride as ordinarily, service is very good along with good food and a friendly ambiance. I will be back many times again!
We loved it! Great food for the price! The atmosphere was wonderful although it smelled fishy as we entered but it was because we were surrounded by Koi swimming all around the restaurant! Very nice place to eat in Honolulu.
Great food for the price we paid with the senior discount. Service was awesome!
Pagoda Floating Restaurant has a very reasonable lunch buffet with freshly made entrees, salads, and specials for the day! The parking is great for convenience, and very affordable. I always make a reservation even though it is for "two". Besides the food, the friendliness of the staff and the waitresses are what i look forward to in making my dining experience happy and welcoming. So I am a repeat customer, and all my guests remark how reasonable and good the restaurant is! Mahalo!
It was mine and my moms first time going there and it was the best. No waiting. The food was awesome. The waiters kept checking on us making sure we were ok and cleaned the plates and refilled our drinks.
I would not recommend the lunch buffet. It was less than half of the offerings we had for the brunch buffet. Granted it was half the price but not satisfying at all. My pasta was cold and the salad choices were negligible
It was great. Noise level was very low so we could hear each other speaking. The garden was beautiful. Koi pond was very clean snd had vast amount of Kois. Our guest from Japan really enjoyed the food snd restaurant.
I for got to use my Japanese Chamber of Commerce (JCC) 10% discount card.
Thank you for the great dinner for our Japanese visitor friend.

My family was very happy with the quality of the food, the excellent service and the wonderful table we had. I would definitely return for another occasion. In fact I’m coming back for lunch on Thursday.
The atmosphere was great. Severs provided friendly service. My seating was at 1pm and by the time we got to the dessert table most of the dessert on the table were completely gone. It would have been nice to have the dessert bar partially refilled for the late patrons. My suggestion would be to go at least 2 hours prior to closing of the buffet.
Birthday brunch for eight! Fabulous!
Still maintains a local atmosphere.
Service very good..
Food sekection very good. Something for everyone.
They must have
