Paesano of Mulberry Street
I do love this place so romantic and cute BUT with excellent food and service! Fabulous rainy Sunday afternoon ❤️
Veal Parmesan was outstanding! Good wine suggestions.
Me and my daughter went here on our recent trip to New York , everything was amazing ! The waiters were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed everything about our meal .
Wonderful service and such great food!
Pasta was excellent, Veal Parm - good, not awesome but solid. Service was average, but the place was packed so overall it was a very good experience. Prices are reasonable for NYC.
Amazing food that wasn't overpriced! The service was efficient and helpful. The atmosphere was great as well
The food was great., but I never have never gone to an Italian restaurant where they didn’t serve espresso . What’s that all about!
Very nice place. Little bit overcrowded and very noisy. But the food is good as well as wine.
The food was exceptional and the service was very quick. Almost too fast - the need to turn the table to another group was almost palpable. It’s hard to complain about the food arriving too quickly, but when the expectation is for a relaxing dinner; super fast service makes the meal seem rushed. It was an absolutely fabulous dinner however - just at a high speed pace.
Nice place. A little rushed
Food was okay, definitely not the best I’ve had.
Awesome food, great atmosphere! The only drawback (if you can call it a drawback) was the tight quarters. And when I look all around me I saw everyone else in the restaurant enjoying themselves just as much as we did. i can't recommend this restaurant enough!
Wonderful food and ambiance! And great prices!
The food was excellent but our server did fall short, my date asked for a specific type of beer and got something different and we were still charged for it even though the server acknowledged that he did in fact bring the wrong drink. Then at the end of our meal, we had to request the check THREE TIMES because the server kept forgetting. My date actually had to get up to find the server to let him know that we still were waiting on the check. If it weren’t for our experience with the server, I would have given this restaurant 5 stars.
Amazing food and great service . Will return for sure !
It was great! Enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.
It was crowded with the feast so I’m so glad we made the reservations on Open Table ! Lovely ambiance and food was delicious. We’ll be back in the off season !
Vitorio, our waiter, was one of the best.
He kept was on top of our orders, made jokes with the family, and made the entire experience.
Would highly recommend, if only for 30 minutes of service from this man.
Awesome food. Mussels mariana are to die for
We went to San Gennaro Feast and ate at Paesanso's for dinner (last year we did too). Food is amazing and it was fast service even though it was super busy. The only mis step I could say is they didnt ask if we wanted dessert they just gave us the check. Nbd considering it was the feast and I am sure they needed the table. Would def go back.
Energetic, fun atmosphere! My carbonara was “creamier” than expected. I would have preferred a lighter version!
Walter & the rest of the staff Did a great job. It was quite busy because it was the Ssn Genaro feast.
The food was delicious and we will be returning!
Great service very friendly!
I always enjoy Little Italy over the Sam Gennaro festival period, and stopping by any of the old established eateries. I had the baked ziti and it came gleaming with ricotto and moz cheese - just the way I like it. Also the fried calamari was fresh, crisp and not oily.
I found this restaurant on Open Table. I have been to Little Italy many many times as a former New Yorker. This is by far the BEST Italian restaurant in the city! Run, don't walk for excellent food & service!
Good food with efficient service. The staff was friendly and the overall experience was enjoyable. We had a lovely date night :)
We had a reservation and stood inside the door for 15 minutes, body to body, with everyone else awaiting to be seated for their reservation. Not once did someone come over to any of us. The place was so jammed, they let us all just stand there and not be helped. No one was being seated. The people that were in front of us were waiting a half hour without anyone helping them. They should not take reservations. It's ridiculous.
I cannot believe that people are rating this restaurant so high. Really?! Old place, it smells, the dishes is not that clean, the food is simply expensive cafeteria style, probably coming out of the freezer. The bread was not fresh and the wine was warmer than the room temperature. I am under the impression that I just lost $140. Very disappointing. And there are so many good restaurants on Mulberry street. Please go somewhere else.
Excellent service and food. Old Italian decor. Affordable, the kind of place a tourist looks for.
Wonderful experience! Food was amazing and the atmosphere was perfect. Our waiter went above and beyond! We will definitely be back!
We were seated in the back corner near the kitchen and near a shelf of wine. The waiters continued to reach over us throughout the night to get bottles. I regret eating here. Should have went to Sofia's which is across the street and much better service, food and tables.
Best linguini and clam in my life
Wine was delicious and affordable
Beautiful little spot
Very friendly staff, delicious food at very reasonable prices. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place to have a relaxing meal.
Vacation time and a nice night out with family. It was a recommendation. Delicious and fun!
Very romantic and beautiful environment with great food and amazing service. Can’t ask for much more!
Nice staff, kinda touristy, but that’s the entire Mulberry Street for you. Overall, the food is just OK but the people watching, if you sit outside, is great!
had a reservation and they did not put us in the righ time waited for a long time
Excellent wine. Average food. Nice service.
We haven’t stopped talking about how great the food was. Will totally be going back!
