Paesano of Mulberry Street
Rigatoni A La Vodka
with artichoke hearts and fresh mozzarella
Had a great dinner Thanksgiving weekend. Atmosphere very festive. Service was spot on and the prices are surprisingly low for generous portions. We had a great time all around!
Not what we expected. It was Cramped, crowded and very noisy.
Food was wonderful! Service was very good.
We ate outside and they took great care of us. My whole family loved their food.
Such a fabulous and authentic place in the heart of Little Italy!
The restaurant was packed. No masks and no checking of vaccinations upon entry. As this is required in NYC they are breaking the rules.
Service was horrible - slow and almost impossible to get anyone's attention despite the fact that we were a group of 8. When we did get service it was rushed with the sense that we were in a cafeteria. Food was ok - my Caesar salad was good the gnocchi Bolognese was not. Industrial grade gnocchi that was almost inedible.
More important than the bad food and lack of service is the complete disregard for Covid rules and protocols.
Although reviews online were favorable, we found the food average at best.
the food was delicious. the waiter was very nice and the service is great. the ambiance is lovely.
The food was outstanding. I had a reservation and was 5 minutes early. We were not acknowledged for 20 min and seated 45 min late. We make reservations for a reason and 5 to 10 minutes late would be exceptable, but we were not acknowledged for 20 probably won't return
Had a great meal with out of town friends here. Was able to dine outside. Service and food were outstanding. Will definitely be returning again!
After running the NYC Marathon, it was a perfect place to re-carb. Everything was excellent
We sat outside, and it was quiet and warm (space heaters). The inside of the restaurant was packed, so the tables outside were a bit neglected by the waiters. But we were not in a rush, so we enjoyed the moment.
Delicious!! Paesano never disappoints. I always have one meal here when in the City. The portions are generous, price & service are perfect. Can’t wait to return…
Very accommadating for small children. Had a great meal!
A bit hard to find but worth it.
My wife, son and I traveled to NYC for my son’s birthday. I found Paesano’s on Mulberry after looking at reviews of restaurants in Little Italy. Paesano’s did not disappoint. The atmosphere and service were great. The food was too. I had lasagna which was delicious. My wife enjoyed chicken parm and the bday boy had fettuccine Alfredo. Overall, it was a pleasant dinner.
Visiting NYC for the very first time
Great food and the staff is so friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is beautiful tucked away in Little Italy
This place was mediocre in every way. I wish we had chosen the restaurant that was offering the free sangria instead.
Visiting from Texas. Excellent tasting food, friendly service and classic Italian decor. Perfectly made lemon drop martini, crisp calamari, delicious lasagna, tender veal piccata and homemade linguini. Wanted tiramisu, but didn’t have room!
The wait staff was not attentive at all. You best
I don’t think I would be able to recommend this place t9 anyone I cares about. Unfortunately, it just didn’t do it for me. Coming to little Italy, I was expecting homemade pasta and quality food. This place did not deliver. If you are on a budget, looking for a just ok meal, this restaurant might do it for you. No comparison to other places I have tried… overall, pretty disappointed.
Average to below average food terrible bread and overpriced food! So many better Italian restaurants in Little Italy!
buen lugar, muy buena pasta y precios accesibles
amazing food! recommended by a friend and i loved the gnocchi bolognese. the service was also good, i'll definitely be back
Touristy, ordered an appetizer that never came…. And poor wine list by the glass.
We all enjoyed, just not upper par. A basic good meal at a great value
Amazing Rigatoni a la Vodka!
The staff was very attentive but this is a tourist attraction
Everything was delicious - we had calamari and fried ravioli appetizers- baked ziti with sausage and gnocchi with meat sauce and all 6 of us were full and happy!
Very beautiful dinner with my fiancé last night, I proposed to her at the restaurant, the waiter was the best waiter I’ve ever had, the restaurant made all my requests come true, 10/10 highly recommended going here. The food was out of this world amazing, best Italian food I’ve had in years.
Amazing spot. Good food, awesome ambience inside and good decorations/vibe. Very inexpensive and great value for NYC Italian restaurant. Would go again!
We celebrated my sons birthday and ordered the Tortellini Bolognese and chicken Frandsche’s. Both dishes came in delicious sauce. I ordered a marinated house salad wasn’t really anything special. The linguine with substituted for sautéed spinach which was a nice choice. I ordered a glass of Chianti. And for dessert we ate tiramisu which was delicious. Though waiting staff was hospitable and very friendly. There’s definitely a comfortable place to go out and have a meal
Absolutely the best! My first time in Little Italy and I can’t wait to come back! The food was outstanding! The service was excellent. Loved the ambience and the decor!
The Shrimp Scampi was amazing, I will be coming back soon 😍
The staff were so attentive. The food was excellent. The atmosphere is great and wine by the bottle for $28.
Enjoying lunch was never better. All six, different meals, were made to perfection. Atmosphere was heavenly. Service was polite and very pleasant. Our visit was just as good the second time as the first.
Food great, service outstanding, ambiance crowded and campy in a pleasing way
Very good food, excellent wait staff.
