Packard's New American Kitchen
This has always been a favorite for brunch...until today. Arrived at 12:30 for Sunday brunch and ordered my favorite Crunch Berry French toast. The restaurant was really quiet, not many customers. My food took longer than I ever waited before. The French toast was hard as a rock. I had to cut it with a knife. The bacon was cold. I complained to my waitress( a first for me) and all they offered was a complentary dessert. Seriously? It will be a while before I try this again. So disappointed in food and service.
Delicious food and super friendly service.
Great food and atmosphere. Love the crab beniets!
I enjoyed the location and parking was easy. The food was good. I had a steak and it was cooked perfectly, however the sauce was a little bland. My wife had a salmon dish and it was good as well. We had a great seat with street view but I guess the waiter could not see us because we rarely saw him. fortunately other staff members were available to bring our food and refill beverages. At the end of the night we realized that they had a patio upstairs and would probably would have enjoyed that after dinner had we known. Will try it again.
Server did ok, she grabbed my old fashioned to see how much was left in it. Which would be fine but they should know better than to grab it from the top of the glass when I am still drinking it. Then another server just grabbed it and tried to walk off. I had to stop them both. It is a drink made with a 2oz pour and I still had probably half an ounce left. They should know how to handle certain drinks.
Foods always great. The service was equally impressive.
Overall enjoyed the food and appetizers. It was very loud in the small restaurant. It was difficult to have a conversation with my date.
On our way to see Hamilton, we chose to have dinner at Packard’s. The Lemon Rosemary Chicken was delicious. My daughter had the burger and reported it was also delicious. It did seem to take awhile for our food to come out and I do wish the server had checked on us another time or two ... there was a dessert we might have tried if we had had the time.
excellent choice! we didn't want anything heavy before going to see Hamilton, and we knew we could get get cheese boards, smoked salmon, etc... and this was just perfect!
Server was not responsive; drinks left unfilled. The six lunches were all cold when served.
Packard's never disappoints! Great food and service.
Went for lunch, delicious with great service!
Was our first visit and we will absolutely be back!
They were doing maintenance on the air duct so it was incredibly loud during the brunch hour. That is why I rated ambiance as low and noise as louder. Other than that it was a nice experience and good food.
If it is winter dress warmly, we were seated close to the door and even with a sweater on I felt like I needed my coat. Everything else was great. I especially want to thank the kitchen for bringing out 2 plates for the entree my husband and I split. Perfection!
I had only been to Packard’s once with my girlfriends when it first opened, and this was my husband’s first time. We both had a delightful meal and thought both the ambience and price points were spot on. We will definitely return!
Was the end of a Birthday celebration weekend before heading home! Found Packard’s on Open Table app. Was not disappointed! Will be back some day!
Our reservation was ready as scheduled and the food and service were both great!
We went near the end of brunch and the service and food quality reflected that. The service started well, but when we were going to order a final round of drinks and get the tab it took forever, so we just got the tab. The food was fine, but not what we’ve had before
great, will definitely go back. reservation - was seated right on time
My friend and I had the night special of a Wagyu Sirloin. Unfortunately, it was very tough to eat, even at medium rare for both of us. Wife had the pork chop which was delicious and tender. Overall a good experience, just wish that cut of steak wasn't so tough.
Good food and good service. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
This was our first time and the staff was great. Answered all our questions and made excellent recommendations.
Great food and staff! Highly recommend for casual dining and with friends. We will return soon!
I am very slow to complain about an experience, but ours just wasn’t good overall. Between forgetting things we ordered, the pace at which it was delivered and corrected, then still being fully charged for things forgotten, I was just disappointed in the overall service. It wasn’t busy at the time we were there. The food was pretty good but I left feeling like I had vastly overpaid for a subpar experience.
Our dinner before attending a performance at the Civic Center on Saturday at Packard’s was a mixture of great food, an annoying noise level, and a sweet server who was spread thinly among several large groups. Both of our entrees were delicious, the bucatini and the salmon, but the most outstanding portion of the experience was the dessert - the Nutella cheesecake!
As usual, wonderful staff and very good food. We like Packard’s for business lunches for that reason and also that people can actually hear each other.
Used app to make reservations, nice table, good service, everyone kind!
Packard's is my go-to for Happy Hour, brunch or a sexy date night. I'm never disappointed!
Great experience, overall. Hostess was a little snotty, but the rest of the staff was superb. Definitely good for a quiet date.
Always a great place for business lunches near downtown OKC. Great food, good service and easy parking.
Had the pork chop and it was so good!
It was good enough on Tuesday that I am going back on Friday.
We love the Packard's and have been here several times. I will say I was disappointed in my chicken - it was very dry. My husband ordered a martini and it came out pink - they explained that they make their martinis with Kalamata olives - which gives the martini a sweeter taste than a traditional martini. They should tell customers this when you order a martini. Very disappointing! Martinis are a classic staple - why mess with it?
After growing pains for its first few months, Packard’s has clearly got it dialed-in now in both its food and service. A Midtowner’s regular haunt, Packard’s is worth the drive from anywhere in the area. A relaxed atmosphere and lively ambience adds to the comfort of this place. During a recent visit, the service was spot on with just the right amount of attention paid to the table. A small and curious wine menu may require some explanation for comparisons, but it is noteworthy nonetheless. Of greatest note, however, is the price-point. Packard’s is EXACTLY where it should be in pricing. The numbers are perfectly aligned with the deliverables and that makes any diner happy!
Veggie plate is always different and excellent. Thanks for having Plant Based options!! The Moscow Mules were fantastic as well!
The food was delicious. Took a little long to get drinks but not that big of a deal. Parking lot was full as well so hard to find a parking spot but they are popular so I'm not surprised. Overall would definitely go back.
I ordered the Bodega Burrito without the pulled pork. The meal didn't consist of much then. Nothing extra added. It was basically a diced red pepper burrito. I would think the chef would consider it an opportunity to be creative once someone says they are vegetarian.
Went there with a friend I hadn’t seen in awhile. It was a great place for dinner and catching up. The food portions were just right for us, also.
The seafood linguine special was excellent and portion sizes perfect. The strawberry rhubarb cobbler - incredible. Window seating provided watching the new streetcars rounding the corner and midtown dwellers out for an evening jog - a most enjoyable dining experience before a Thunder game.
