About Packard's New American Kitchen
Packard’s New American Kitchen is steeped in the heritage of Oklahoma City’s historic Packard Building. Through the build out process of the restaurant we were able to restore several elements of the original Packard dealership that really bring the history of the space to life. Be sure to check out the craftsmanship uncovered in the tile that originally served as the show room floor.
Our menu is a modern take on classic American favorites using locally sourced ingredients and features house-made breads & pastas.

Packard's New American Kitchen Ratings and Reviews
This was the first time for us to visit Packard's, and I must say that our server provided some of the best service we've ever received at any restaurant in OKC (I believe his name was Brian). We enjoyed having the wine flight selection, which is something we've not seen at any other restaurants, and the menu, while limited, offered our party of four some really fantastic food. The only disappointment about the whole evening was that the one dessert we wanted to try, the crème brulee, wasn't available; otherwise, the rest of the experience was extremely enjoyable. We will definitely be back!
The reviews were a little mixed, so wasn't quite sure what we were walking into when we made our reservations at Packard. Fortunately, we were pleasantly surprised and we will return. We were quickly seated upon our arrival; we had early reservations and there were only a few tables already seated. The waitress arrived within a reasonable time and took our drink orders. She went through the evening specials which we had noticed on the chalkboard above the bar. Our food arrived in a fair amount of time and we had ordered the chicken and the ribs. Both plates were well presented and the food was very good. The ribs were meaty and tender and the chicken was delicious. The waitress became scarcer as the evening wore on and we had to ask for our check before leaving. Overall a pleasurable evening so we will be back.
We were in OKC to close a business deal and searched for a nice place to celebrate during dinner. Found the perfect location!! The restaurant is in a great location, parking across the street. Many options for dinner-a lot of al a carte items also. Super drink options too. We were able to linger, and eat away some time before leaving OKC. Would recommend this in a heartbeat!!
The staff was very accommodating. Our reservation was for 8 and we ended up with 9, and it was no problem for the staff. The food was excellent and the portions were right-sized. It was a little loud during the lunch rush, but not unbearable. The restrooms are not at all convenient, but not that difficult to get to. All in all, a nice lunch.
My only complaint is that the signature cocktails were inconsistent. The Gin Old Fashioned tasted different every time it was ordered (and very different from our last visit to the restaurant).
The food is always great, albeit a bit pricey, and the service is always perfect.
We were seated next to the door so every few minutes a cold front moved in. The coke was flat and the service was more then lacking in attentiveness. The crab beignet was a glorified greasy crab cake, the hamburger patty was obviously not fresh to order and the Chefs salad was a jazzed up house salad. Definitely overrated.
The first time I came here it was delicious; I got the French toast, would recommend, service was lacking however. This time around I got the eggs cochon and muffins. One it took our server five minutes to get to us there was only 4 other tables there, so not busy. We never received her name nor did she check how the food was (It wasn’t the greatest) my eggs were way overcooked for a take on eggs Benedict, the muffins also tasted like they were microwaved, I was highly disappointed by both the food and the service.
"I liked the relaxed feel of this place. I definitely would return to try more dishes. I had the filet...which was phenomenal!! Cooked to perfection, and the glazed carrots & asparagus was wonderful Our friends said the potato-leek soup was amazing along with the roasted chicken. The table was split on the blackened redfish – one person thought it was great, but another thought the flavor was a bit fishy. Service was well-timed and friendly, wines were fairly affordable, maybe slightly over priced."
Awful. Worst meal I've ever had there. Must have changed cooks. I had the chicken and it was dry and swimming in potato goop. My wife had the pork chop and the grits were horrible this time. Used to be our go-to place, but never again. Worst meal I ever ate. $72.00 tab for 2. Embarrassed to have taken guests. Wish we had gone anywhere but here. last place on earth I'll ever visit again.
I feel a little more “hip” every time I eat here. The setting and atmosphere are comfortable and vibrant. The service is outstanding, as I never saw the bottom of my coffee cup, the food came out quick, and multiple wait staff and a manager checked on us as we dined. The brunch menu is outstanding and I would highly suggest the Bodega Burrito!
Wonderful as always. I have liked every menu item that I have tried but the Redfish is my favorite. The servers were friendly and knowledgeable. I love the atmosphere. There is a reason this is one of my favorite spots. I’ve never had a bad experience here.
We had another wonderful meal at Packard’s. The front staff is always so kind to our family. They are cheerful and chatty, and they always try to accommodate our seating requests. Our waiter Brian was terrific. He was helpful and positive- stopping by at just the right times. We love the atmosphere at Packard’s and appreciate the seasonal changes. The wine list is perfect. My husband and I have enjoyed discovering new wines while dining at Packard’s. One more plus to this restaurant, it is easy to tell that the staff enjoys working there. They are a steady nice group of young people. So glad to have Packard’s in OKC.
We went for brunch on my birthday today and it was amazing! Make sure to try the bacon - it was the best bacon I've ever had in my life. It was sort of sweet and cinnamon-y. Actually, everything was pretty much the best brunch food I've ever had. Our server was awesome too. You will love it here!
It has been a while since I’ve been here. When Packard’s first opened it was hands down my favorite restaurant in OKC. The ambience is great, the craft cocktails are excellent, the location is great, but most of all the food is absolutely delicious. I recommend the blackened redfish with crawfish etouffee and risotto. Don’t miss this place!
