Made a reservation for brunch. Arrived on time. Waited over 30 minutes for our table for 5. One person in our group had to cancel an afternoon appointment due to the late seating and the exceptionally slow service. Did get coffee but it was luke-warm. Asked for hot coffee which finally did arrive. Took another 30 minutes before our food arrived. It was not hot either (just barely warm) and no one brought or asked about extras such as the hot sauce for one item and the butter and jam for our toast. We had to then wait for those items which then made our food stone cold. They seemed extremely short-handed and we never got beverage refills or were asked if we needed anything else. Food was delicious and well-prepared but the lengthy wait for our reserved table, the temperature of the coffee and food, and the lack of the things needed to go along with the meal or possible refills or additional orders left us disappointed in our brunch experience.
We went to Packard’s for our 1 year wedding anniversary (we had our rehearsal dinner there). The food was great, but we had 4 different waiters and my husband waited about 45 min for a Coke. Despite this, I would still come back again and give the staff another chance to win me over.
Service and ambush top notch! Food was mediocre. Dinner: Salmon and Filet were undercooked-sides were phenomenal, kids meal chicken was overcooked. Appetizers: crab cakes were good, chilled smoked salmon was not too good. Dessert: different style of blueberry pie-was pretty good, donut bread pudding was ok.
Would recommend for apps and a drink, but bother more than that.
This was my first time. I would definitely be back the Brussels sprouts are absolutely delicious.
The food was delicious, but the restaurant was extremely loud! If you can deal with the noise level the food is well worth it.
My grandma and I shared a Caesar salad and the salmon for our meal and had the sundae for dessert. All so yummy!
Great dinner! Jalepeno cheese grits were awesome. Everything we had was good Sapmon, pork chops, brussel sprouts.
The curry dish was fantastic, especially on a cool fall day!
Date night for us. We enjoy the atmosphere
Brunch was divine! Adam our waiter was spectacular! Such an asset to your business.
Adam was a great server and very attentive. The food was wonderful and everyone left with full bellies. I would have liked the start salads to be spaced better with the main course otherwise great place for a dinner in OKC!
Excellent food and ambiance. Will definitely repeat our regular visits. Keep it up
Service was slow. The food was not very good.
Wonderful service and an excellent brunch for our OKC Ladies Who Brunch club. An all around great restaurant.
Great service and delicious food! One of my favorite brunch spots in OKC :)
Unfortunately a very mixed experience at a restaurant that we usually have really good experiences when attending. Two filet's were ordered, one well done and the other medium. The well done steak was actually very good, butterflied and tender. The steak ordered medium was very overcooked and tough as a boot. The other two dishes ordered were a chicken dish in which the chicken came out hot but the sides were lukewarm at best. The last dish was a redfish etoufee. Again the redfish was hot and fresh but the rissotto and etoufee sauce were actually very cold and had to be sent back. It's a place we like and I'm sure will go again, but it was not up to their usual standards. Service by Lilly was very good.
The service was poor. The appetizer plates and other dirty and empty glasses sat on the table for 45 minutes until I finally asked a random bus boy to take them. We basically had to beg to get our wine glasses and water refilled. It wasn’t that overly busy and eat her offer for lunch and brunch and never had this problem. The food took a really long time as well which isn’t a problem if you can get a wine glass or water refilled. This was dinner and I had guests in town from Texas. They loved the food but Packard’s let me down on the bragging I had been doing.
Perhaps just an off evening. We have dined on several occasions but this last might be the last for a while. Seems to be slipping. Service was not on par with tab and the food has dropped in quality from past experiences. Not certain if just an off night or a slide.. We will take a break for awhile.
Made early reservations for Sunday and really enjoyed our BRUNCH
Our food was really cold, like it had been sitting in the back for 30 minutes. Really disappointed.
1st time for brunch. Party of 8 older people. Server was great, she was good, professional, knew the menu and the bar offerings. Anything we asked for she got it quickly and with a smile.
Most of us ordered different items from the brunch menu. My choice was the Verde burrito. Chorizo Verde, Flour Tortilla, Scrambled Eggs, Cheddar, Black Beans, Sweet Potatoes, Topped with Cotija Crema and Corn Pico
Pretty yummy, though a bit dry. Chula hot sauce helped which I also put on my side of hash browns because less sugar than catsup. I would order it again in a heart beat though and ask for a side of green chili salsa.
One of the party ordered Today's Scramble, which I understand changes and I can't remember what meats were in his scrambled eggs, but the green chili salsa it was served with on the side was delicious!
Biscuits and gravy were ordered and were found to be a bit dry and hard. Not enough gravy served with them, but our wonderful server brought them more gravy which made the biscuits a bit more desirable. Pancakes sucked up their syrup so don't forget to ask for more syrup unlike my dining companion who decided not to ask for more.
Most of us got spicy Bloody Mary's which were great. Others had beer. We all left happy and thanks to I believe her name was Brady or Bradi several group photos she was happy to take time to take for us.
Not sure why anyone would want to go there except there’s not a lot of good options in that immediate area.
Great place and the pork chop with the jalapeño grits is awesome.
We dined on the rooftop on a Tuesday evening. The food, drinks and service were outstanding. With a nice view of downtown OKC and the setting sun, we had a romantic date night. Highly recommend!
The server we had was absolutely fabulous never had we had one that good please keep him The best we've ever had there how everything was great
Great experience! Crab Beignets were amazing! Bacon jam should be bottled and sold.
Good overall however kitchen not very accommodating to off the menu requests.
Having been there for both dinner and brunch - I highly recommend dinner but brunch is average at best. Dinner was a great experience with excellent wait staff. The brunch was understaffed and the food was nothing special.
This is our second time eating at Packards. We have found the wait staff attentive and the ambience very relaxing. The food is excellent and the prices are moderate. We think the brussel sprouts are something unique and we'd drive out of the way just to get those.
Great salads and generous portions for lunch.
This has always been a favorite for brunch...until today. Arrived at 12:30 for Sunday brunch and ordered my favorite Crunch Berry French toast. The restaurant was really quiet, not many customers. My food took longer than I ever waited before. The French toast was hard as a rock. I had to cut it with a knife. The bacon was cold. I complained to my waitress( a first for me) and all they offered was a complentary dessert. Seriously? It will be a while before I try this again. So disappointed in food and service.
Delicious food and super friendly service.
It was a great experience with great food!
We went before the theatre. We had limited time so we had salads and appetizers. They were courteous and fast. The food was really good and fresh. I highly recommend it.
Great food and atmosphere. Love the crab beniets!
I enjoyed the location and parking was easy. The food was good. I had a steak and it was cooked perfectly, however the sauce was a little bland. My wife had a salmon dish and it was good as well. We had a great seat with street view but I guess the waiter could not see us because we rarely saw him. fortunately other staff members were available to bring our food and refill beverages. At the end of the night we realized that they had a patio upstairs and would probably would have enjoyed that after dinner had we known. Will try it again.
Server did ok, she grabbed my old fashioned to see how much was left in it. Which would be fine but they should know better than to grab it from the top of the glass when I am still drinking it. Then another server just grabbed it and tried to walk off. I had to stop them both. It is a drink made with a 2oz pour and I still had probably half an ounce left. They should know how to handle certain drinks.
Foods always great. The service was equally impressive.
Overall enjoyed the food and appetizers. It was very loud in the small restaurant. It was difficult to have a conversation with my date.
