Packard’s staff were all great. The host James checked on us a few times & was very personable. We sat outside for dinner & was a nice view of the course. The food was pretty good but not super impressive for the price. Spicy goat cheese starter was really good. Lobster bisque has decent flavor but was more of a purée & not very silky. My wife’s salad was solid (Green Goddess). I got the Delmonico & it was cooked & seasoned properly. Nothing special about it & the mushrooms were decent but again, nothing to remember. Dessert & cappuccino were excellent. Packard’s has “high-end steakhouse” prices & I would say they are a little below that from the one experience but would definitely go back to try it again next time down there. By no means a bad meal & wasn’t unsatisfied but not a meal that will stick with me.
Always a great meql
Excellent steaks and appetizers. Wait staff very efficient and friendly. Overall a great experience and I would highly recommend.
Very nice atmosphere and food was delicious. Sat at the bar. Service was good
Since our first visit, this has now become a local favorite for us. Close to our home and always a great meal.
Last night we tried the Wednesday Only Prime Rib dinner. The king cut was a full 16oz of awesome. Tender, flavorful and cooked just as ordered. The Broccolini and Garlic Mashed Potatoes that came with the meal were a nice compliment to the Prime Rib. We have yet to be disappointed in the level of service, or overall quality of the meal. We will return.
We dined here 2 nights in a row. Exceeded our expectations. The filet mignon was perfect, the lamb shanks were outstanding (we customized it with garlic mashed potatoes).
Our servers, Ralph and Theresa, were phenomenal and made our experience at Packard's totally enjoyable and fun, too!!
We will be going back again.
Excellent food! Our server Mike was exceptional. Delicious salad, steak and side dishes.
Very nice meal - steaks were solid with multiple sauce/rub options. Service was very accommodating and the atmosphere is good. No brainer to come here if you are staying at Innisbrook.
Very upscale dining. Friendly staff. There was some construction going on at the time. No Ribeyes on the menu.
Teresa was outstanding and excellent on her knowledge on the menu. Service was very comfortable and we will definitely be back. Food Was incredible and to top it off with the chocolate cake yummy!
The restaurant has always been great in all aspects. Yet, somehow, they have made a significant leap upward with the food quality and presentation.
Comparing this visit to our last visit is like night and day. We were anxious to return since our last visit was all 5 stars. The hostess was the highlight of the evening-welcoming and friendly, helpful from start to finish. Our waitress seemed distracted and was hurrying us to place our order. The food was disappointing. We ordered the sampler appetizer platter. 3 of each-bacon wrapped shrimp, fried goat cheese and conch fritters-there were 4 of us. More generous with the fried calamari -not crispy, breading fell off, sticky meatballs were ok-Luke warm though. We all had different cuts of steak, all cooked perfectly. Twice baked potatoes tasty but Luke warm, Brussels sprouts way undercooked and broccoli rabe was served in long, unmanageable pieces, also undercooked. I love my veggies to have a bite to them but these were barely cooked. Truffle cake was recommended by the hostess and it was delicious. My husband ordered coffee and it took a while for our waitress to bring the sugar and cream after the coffee was served.
Service was good. Food was just average and didn’t measure up to the price. Place seems a bit dated.
Classic steak house. Filets cooked to perfection, sides were fresh and plentiful. Our waiter, Mike was attentive and quite entertaining. He made our experience there the best! We will return!
Packards is my favorite restaurant. Servers Sharon, Debbie and Mike are exceptional and make the dining experience superb.
Excellent experience food and service were superb
Only negative is the decor which needs an update. The seventies are over. Other than that no complaints
We were staying on property for conference . the French onion soup was very good . The wedge salad was also good. The grouper was ok. The filet was not cooked as ordered it was over cooked .
It is a steak and seafood restaurant, but I asked if the chef would prepare something vegetarian. He asked what I would like and I simply asked him to be creative and make what he’d make for himself. I received a pasta primavera that was truly exceptional! My spouse had the New York strip steak. It was prepared perfectly. Don’t be put off by the menu if you’re vegetarian, the chef’s accommodation what’s excellent! Our waiter, Mike, has worked there for forty-two years. He was great! Personable, efficient and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this restaurant.
We went on a Sunday night there were a few tables taken but looked like they were expecting some bigger groups. Servers were very attentive and friendly couldn’t be nicer. Bread with specialty flavors , nice choice of wines and good selection on menu. Went with the filet mignon always very good quality! Had the side of creamer spinach wish is soooo good and enough for 4 people to share. We had the chocolate lava cake really delicious and deconstructed key lime was very inventive and yummy. Always a great meal when we come here can’t wait till next time
Great food, great service! We will definitely come back again!
Food was good and staff excellent. They answered questions and helped us be comfortable.
3 of 4 in our group got sick from the meal. All three had the same meal, side dish and appetizer. Also, our female server was rude, unattentive, and frankly, discriminatory towards us as nonmembers. She was friendly and courteous to several different groups sitting near us after asking them if they were members. We will not return to Packards again.
Because it was a Wednesday night the restaurant was quiet. We all ordered the special on Wednesday which was prime rib, mashed potato & broccoli. Unfortunately there were only 3 prime ribs left, so our waiter offered the Delmonico steak. Everyone enjoyed their meal. It wasn’t the best prime rib I ever had but it was good, and cooked perfectly as ordered. The Delmonico steaks were also very good. Desserts were on the house for the birthday girl. DELICIOUS!!!
We were offered a terrible table even though we had reservations.
The restaurant was about 80 per cent vacant. We asked for a garden view window table and were told no. We eventually got an ok table due to my wife’s persistence. There were window tables available the entire time. We requested 7 or 7:30pm but
could only have 6:30 or 8 pm.
Don’t understand that since their was only a few people there.
Food was great and they gave us a dessert for our anniversary.
Great steaks and excellent service made our group feel welcome and cared for.
Excellent as always! Food is consistently 5 star quality and service exceptional!
Wonderful experience as usual. Pricey but well worth it. Service is beyond good
Mouth watering steaks. So perfectly cook that you need a knife. We loved their lamb too.
The salad was the best we've ever eaten. Ask Glen for their secret seasoning.
Food was very good
Service was great
Ambiance was a tad sterile/dated
We ate there two nights in a row: boys golf outing. Our waiter, Michael, was excellent.
This was our first visit to Packards at Innisbrook. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. My Delmonico was prepared as requested, flavorful, and at 22oz more than I could eat at one sitting . My wife's Filet was also delicious and tender.
While the garlic mashed potatoes were somewhat bland to our taste, the bacon roasted brussel sprouts were very good.
Overall it was a nice, quiet evening with any enjoyable meal.
Fantastic service by all of the wait staff! Food was terrific!
Highly recommend to all ! No need to go to Tampa for a great steak !
Food was really good but also really expensive. For 6 people with 7 alcoholic drinks, 2 appetizers, soups or salad for everyone, entrees and 1 dessert the total was $455 before tip. It was a special occasion so we splurged but I would go there again. Everything I tried was perfectly delicious.
They are always amazing in every aspect. Been going there regularly for 20 years
Very nice overall
Food was great, but the service was a real standout. I can recommend this restaurant for any occasion
This was my wife's and my second time to Packard's. We picked Packard's to celebrate our anniversary, which is what we did on our first trip to Packard's a year ago. We were so very impressed our first time we decided to try it again. We were not disappointed. The best parts, once again, were the impeccable service and the food. My wife and I both started with the French Onion Soup (one of the best I've ever had!). We then shared the jumbo shrimp (they were huge!). We both had the filet mignon. Although we prefer different levels of cooking, I prefer medium-well and she prefers medium, both steaks were perfectly prepared. The garlic mashed potatoes are exquisite! Although we were both stuffed by then and had decided not to have dessert, the waitress came out with an ice cream covered brownie with a candle, compliments of the restaurant. Well . . . we couldn't let it go to waste (waist!). Fantastic!
As far as atmosphere, keep in mind that this is a golf course. There is a sports-type bar in the far corner of the restaurant, but it is not very loud nor did it interfere with our dining experience. My wife and I prefer to dress nicely when we go out to celebrate, and a jacket with open collar is appropriate for males and a nice cocktail dress for the ladies (you will see some folks in very casual attire). The overall atmosphere is very relaxed and, depending where you are seated, there is a somewhat scenic view of the golf course.
Pricewise, I would say that Packard's is somewhat less expensive than say Ruth's Chris or Bern's Steakhouse, but not by much. Regardless, we enthusiastically recommend Packard's!
Our waiter was a true professional!
Food was excellent
While staying at the innisbrook resort. My wife and myself had dinner at Packards. It was outstanding. Upon arrival we were seated promptly by the hostess, then greeted by our server Sharon. We ordered drinks. While looking over the menu we were told about the specials. We ordered the ahi-tuna & the escargot for appetizers. For our main courses she had the filet mignon cooked perfectly, I had the Lamb Osso Bucco over Gnocchi, could be one of the best dishes I ever had. Finished with coffee & Creme Brule . A truly Fantastic evening. Can't wait to go back again.
For a steakhouse, the steaks were all either over cooked or undercooked. Four of us ordered our steaks cooked the same way and each steak arrived incorrect. Not one was at the correct temperature.
Also, we ordered oysters and were told they were out because of the recent Hurricane (over a month has passed since the hurricane). What is upsetting is that the Chef and Manager lied and blamed the hurricane.
