Took the family to Innisbrook for a two night staycation the week after Mother’s Day. While there we had a dinner one night at Packard’s. Overall we had a good experience. First impression the space needs some updating. Covid protocols still in place so it was limited seating, noise levels were fair. We were helped by Theresa and she was attentive and friendly. Service there was great, drinks, food, desserts were served timely. We had our two young sons with us and she went above and beyond. Food quality and drinks were above average. Wine selections was acceptable. I ordered the NY Strip and Wife got the Filet. Good quality steaks. I gave it three out of five because at the price point of the food and drinks, I expected more. Priced similarly as the top steakhouses in the area and nationally but just falls short. I would still recommend dining here if staying on property at the resort.
I have eaten there several times. Some of the food seemed a bit bland. The filet was outstanding
The food was excellent and the wait staff are the best at their job. Wonderful experience. The steaks were cooked to perfection, salad, appetizers, and sides were so good. The dessert was amazing.
The food (albeit small, not impressive and very limited wine list), our waitress (Alena) and sitting outside - all exceptional but upon arrival, with a reservation to sit outside, we were told a group of men had just finished golfing and took our table so “there was nothing” the hostess could do (“we can’t ask the men to leave”). We happily agreed to give them a few minutes. After walking around outside a few minutes we returned to the hostess to be offered a table inside by a window. The hostess discovered “the men” had left the table we were supposed to get upon our arrival with a reservation so we finally got a table outside on a gorgeous evening. Thank goodness because inside the massive room it was freezing cold and packed. Alena truly made up for the insult upon arrival, she was superb.
The staff was incredible! Our server made very wonderful suggestions and made us feel as though we were regular customers-and this was our first visit. We were there to celebrate our anniversary so hoped for a quiet evening, we were seated by a party for a sweet 89 year old lady and were delighted to enjoy the night with her boisterous family. The meal was a bit expensive for what we were served coupled with the lack of ambiance-in future we would opt for another venue. It was conveniently located inside the resort, so that was a plus.
Outstanding!! Ralph, our server, was friendly, attentive and anticipated our needs. Kelly, the hostess, ensured we were comfortable and satisfied with our table. Teresa and Alena contributed to the excellent service. The steaks were phenomenal and the shoestring fries are the best we’ve ever had. We will definitely be coming back soon
We were celebrating a nice dinner on our honeymoon. The food was absolutely amazing and our waiter was very personable and helpful.
Great meal as always. Best steakhouse in Pinellas County. Service is top notch and the food and drinks are awesome. Everybody should head her for a great meal.
Upon hearing and reading what a great place the steakhouse was and a "must visit" stop on our Innisbrook stay...we were horribly disappointed. First, getting reservations was very hard and the only reasonable time available was 9 pm. After calling the restaurant directly, and name dropping of a property executive, we were moved up to 8 pm...BUT it was like they were making a huge concession to get us in. OK fine...we arrive at 7:45 expecting to sit at the bar and wait for our table, but much to our surprise the restaurant, both inside and outside was at 10-15% capacity. Obviously not packed. We were seated outside on a nice evening. Great! Ordered a couple glasses of wine to go with the medium rare, New York Strip Oscar ($65) we were going to share. **Asked what medium rare was for them "warm pink center". While awaiting our meal, a moth flew/landed in my wife's wine (drank about 1/3 of the glass). Pointing this out to the server, you would have thought my wife grabbed the moth out of the air, put it in the glass and were looking to cheat the restaurant or it was coming out of her pocket. WOW. The steak arrives and it was just this side of well done. To the point it was mealy. The asparagus must have been sitting around for a long time as it was tired. The crab was good but lost in an ocean of sauce. After looking at the Instagram pics and hearing from everyone on site how great this was going to be, completely disappointed. $180 which included 20% service charge and tax (Soup, Salad and single steak entrée, 3 glasses of wine). Not really any value there at all. On the other hand, the food, service and staff at the Osprey location were outstanding.
Wonderful dining experience! Fabulous service. Thanks, Alana! Dinners were delicious, as always!
Interesting experience. Very high reviews on this and other websites. Very good service. The food was good, but not outstanding. At this price point, I expect more. Wife's steak was overcooked to Medium, not medium rare as ordered. Expectations at this price point is not for bare tables (no tablecloths).
COVID has been tough on everyone, but over $100 a person, my expectations are higher for the food and high end dining in a resort/club. Again, table service was great.
The food was top level, the equal of the best steakhouses in the country. Service was thoughtful, although on this visit it fell slightly short of stellar, which it has been in the past. The atmosphere needs an update, hopefully this is coming soon, because THAT, along with the already outstanding food, would make this A+
The filet Oscar was amazing as was the Lobster Bisque
Food was exceptional and service was outstanding.
Another delicious meal at Packard’s with excellent service!
Steak was cooked perfectly to order and the Brussel sprouts and shoestring potato fries were some of the best we’ve ever had!!
Can't say enough about the food and staff at Packards. Phillip and Ralph were excellent and attentive. We had to wait a while after our reservation but was taken care of by the staff, the first round of drinks and appetizers on them. The food was awesome, our steaks were cooked to perfection. Cathy made some great martinis with Boursin olives. Can't say enough about the hospitality and food at Packards. Would highly reccommed it.
Our wait staff - Ralph and Theresa were outstanding- timely, attentive, sensitive and intuitive of our needs; Michelle at the bar was creative (handling a few peculiar family requests) and personally professional- the food was delicious as well. Great time!
An excellent meal - both service and food. A great place to have Christmas dinner.
Proof that you can go home again. Great to see the familiar faces of staff and experience the usual wonderful, friendly service. Great food. Great group.
Teresa and Ralph made another enjoyable evening for us. Their dinner suggestions along with a perfect wine pairing (their suggestion also) blended with the outdoor seating could not ask for more. Go and enjoy, a truly professional staff and meal
We were on a three day golf vacation with another couple. Packards is a classic high-end steakhouse with great cocktails and food. Service was very professional but also engaging.....not aloof like at some of the better restaurants. They also allowed us to bring our own wine for a reasonable corkage fee of $25. Ribeye, Strip and Filets were outstanding and perfectly cooked. Each side dish was enough for four people. Will definitely be back.
Great service steaks done perfect and all food excellent
Very expensive for the area
My steak was great but a baked potato or vegetable was extra
The salad was very disappointing: my Caesar salad was half a stalk of romaine lettuce with bottled dressing. It had croutons but no anchovies... $15 for this
Only place I have filet mignon !!!!
Ralph and Teresa are phenomenal servers. The new chef is so-so
Simply one of my favorite stops in the area. The staff is wonderful. Feel bad they had to cancel Valspar. I’m sure it’s their biggest week. Food exquisite as always.
Very good food, excellent service! Overall, really nice dining experience.
Overall experience very good and positive !
The staff is very friendly, we went to celebrate my husband’s birthday and they brought a birthday piece of cake. The food was delicious.
I highly recommend this restaurant!
I’ve been here many times and it’s always pretty good but never great. This time it’s clear that there has been a cut back in staff. The hostess was also the bar tender and was trying to wait on customers at bar tables. The. At tender had no idea how to make mixed drinks. Overall just very disappointing. The whole resort at Innisbrook has gone seriously downhill.
Their steaks are fabulous, cooked just right. The staff is terrific, they are attentive but not intrusive. Packard’s is our special dinner place, yet we find a reason to go at least once a month.
Restaurant was out of Caymus wine and offered a less expensive option only to charge us the same price and labeled the purchase on our receipt as Caymus.
We stayed at Innisbrook for the golf. And we found a restaurant -- Packards -- that isw as world class as the golf at the resort. Our waiter, Mike, was spot on with his recommendations of the prime strip steak and the best calamari we've had in years. We will absolutely recommend this fine spot.
Amazing staff and delicious food
Loud party going on in the bar.
Meat was over cooked.
A+ food and service. Fabulous! Quite pricey but worth it.
Ralph and the team at Packards are first in class. The food is excellent, rated alongside the best steakhouses that I’ve been to.
The Packard experience is a must if you are visiting Innisbrook and enjoy fine dining.
Valentines and birthday
The filet was good but would have preferred a crusty outside. Lots of service help but seemed to be too focused on removing finished plates. Primary server, don't remember her name, started off OK but seemed to be rushed and didn't display too much interpersonal skills, muttering required "thanks first coming" while walking away. After reading other reviews, disappointed.
