Friends from Minnesota. Great ambiance and service.
The outdoor seating was magical. We saw a wonderful sunset. The food was good, the salads were full of fresh lettuce. The lamb dish however came well done when it was ordered rare. The waiter had this fixed fairly quickly and a nice dessert was given to the guest whose dinner was delayed.
Food is delicious but not ordinary. Impressive use of home grown ingredients. Especially delicious hen mousse. Not for the faint hearted eater or one not willing to spend NYC prices for adequate but not elegant service. Beautiful views
Great location on the beach. Food was excellent. Servers, particularly Chris, extremely knowledgeable regarding local cuisine. Our food came out a bit slow but we did not mind as the ambiance was exceptional. This is one place we will definitely return to on our next visit. Have been to most of the restaurants in the Lahaina area over the past 20 years and this one certainly stands out among the best.
Outstanding fresh local seafood and fresh vegetables and salads. Great views too.
A lovely place with a great attention to detail. With their own farm, all the produce is excellent.
Our favorite restaurant in Maui. Always a winner.
Friendly host! Attentive service. Nice view from upper area along railing. Fresh fish and vegetables. Unusual ahi presentation.
We had a great anniversary dinner here. Excellent food, the service was attentive, but not intrusive, and what a romantic setting. We split the Maui onion and surfing goat cheese salad, which was still plenty. My wife had the lamb chops, which were the most tender lamb chops ever and really great flavor. It also came with tempura asparagus and kale, which were tasty, though a bit rich. She paired it with a Turkey Zinfandel, as recommended by the waitperson, which was an excellent choice. I had the filet, which was cooked to perfection and so flavorful for such a lean cut of beef. It came with roasted veggies and basil pesto mashed potatoes. Everything was excellent. This has been, and still is, a favorite restaurant for us.
We were sold on the seafood special which was delicious, but we were a bit shocked at the price at the end of our meal. $95 for a fried whole fish seemed a bit much, granted it was delicious, the price should have been disclosed with the description of the dish.
The location is fantastic. We were seated outside and were able to view an incredible sunset. The food and service matched the sunset! We will definitely be back.
First time at this restaurant and impressed. Jeremy was our waiter and he has a natural talent for making everything sound enticing. As stated before in past reviews the menu doesn't seem to be static and I understand that is due to their dedication to fresh ingredients. Vegetables from the farm and what is fresh from the boats so I give this feature a plus contrasting some previous reviews. It is said, great food starts with great ingredients. Ordered what Jeremy said was fresh and it was not just delicious but also fun to eat. Great presentations and unique combinations made for visual and tasting fun as we tasted off of each other's plates to try it all. Finished with coffee grown and roasted at the farm. Wow.
Service was a bit slow. Server was a bit condescending. We aren’t big drinkers for a number of reasons and his response when ordering a soft drink was “Just a Coke?” Also telling my wife who has a weight problem about the healthy options on the menu, which he didn’t do to any other table, was rude. The lobster ravioli was the highlight of the cuisine. We were waiting roughly 20 minutes between courses. My wife got the Olive Oil Fish, which was over-cooked and I got the Seafood Risotto infused with beets. The risotto had a good texture but the sauce was a little “thin”. I was expecting more of a thicker sauce which a traditional risotto normally has. The scallops were cooked nicely and the fish wasn’t over cooked like my wife’s. We also had a beet salad which was very nice. Personally, I don’t think it was worth the hype, and there are some great restaurants in Maui. We won’t be back.
We love this restaurant, but something was off with the service. It took too long for our server to come over. He finally did and never came back. We also were seated before others around us, but our meals came out after theirs. The food was outstanding, but this time the service was not satifactory.
Everything was superb...from the service to the food to the ambiance! We love this place and would recommend it to all foodies that love fresh ingredients served in an artful manner, along with an amazing Pacific Ocean view. We’ve been coming here for years, and it’s always a pleasure. Thank you Pacifico’s and staff!
We celebrated birthdays on the outside terrace and it was absolutely perfect in every way.
Delicious food. Beautiful atmosphere on the beach. This restaurant never disappoints.
Seated efficiently. Unfortunately was dark so missed out on capitalizing on the view. Out waitress was very pleasant and the meal was excellent. Sadly they have removed duck from the menu that we enjoyed previously. But the meal was still good.
Terrific restaurant with a great bartender and hostess. Good food, great location and views.
service was slow, no water refill until when we already got our check, waitress didn't stop by to check until we are 1/2 way done with our meal and wonder if I got my wine, seriously. This is suppose to be a high end restaurant, the price definitely show it but the service is just not there. Too bad, nice view - that 's about it.
Visited O’o Farm (the organic farm owned by the restaurant) on Monday. My daughter and I enjoyed the simple beauty and the delicious lunch. We picked our salad veggies! We were looking forward to Pacific O as my husband is a vegan. Dinner was unimaginative and the chef offered to make my husband a stir fry (no tofu on hand.). It was shocking the stir fry had a bulk of red peppers, carrots and squash. Having been to the farm I know for sure my husband missed out. I would go back to O’o Farm in a heart beat but not to Pacific O.
Fantastic " on the beach" experience with a knowledgeable and friendly staff
We arrived a bit early so had cocktails at the bar. Both were excellent - simple and very tasty. We were seated at a table next to the beach, so we enjoyed a great sunset as the sun went down behind Lanai. We both had fish dishes, and they were excellent. I don’t think you can go wrong with anything on the menu here!
Sitting next to the beach at sunset was amazing! Food was good but a hit too foodie for me. Service and cocktails was very nice!
The Poke and Ceviche appetizers were excellent. The seafood risotto and Kona Wind Ahi were excellent main courses.
This place has been here a long time and its very obvious why? Their food, service, ambiance is excellent.
The best fish dish I have ever eaten...and we're foodies!!
We had a great meal we did the tasting menu and I paired mine with wine. It was awesome and totally worth the money.
The fish was really good and so was the filet. Staff was friendly. We came after dark so can't speak to the view but could hear the waves as we ate. Convenient paid parking right across the street.
Seafood ceviche was really good. The risotto was too pasty although the seafood with it was really good and generous. A bit dark eating - a brighter candle or small table light would have helped during the meal. Might try it again.
