A lovely place with a great attention to detail. With their own farm, all the produce is excellent.
Our favorite restaurant in Maui. Always a winner.
Friendly host! Attentive service. Nice view from upper area along railing. Fresh fish and vegetables. Unusual ahi presentation.
We had a great anniversary dinner here. Excellent food, the service was attentive, but not intrusive, and what a romantic setting. We split the Maui onion and surfing goat cheese salad, which was still plenty. My wife had the lamb chops, which were the most tender lamb chops ever and really great flavor. It also came with tempura asparagus and kale, which were tasty, though a bit rich. She paired it with a Turkey Zinfandel, as recommended by the waitperson, which was an excellent choice. I had the filet, which was cooked to perfection and so flavorful for such a lean cut of beef. It came with roasted veggies and basil pesto mashed potatoes. Everything was excellent. This has been, and still is, a favorite restaurant for us.
We were sold on the seafood special which was delicious, but we were a bit shocked at the price at the end of our meal. $95 for a fried whole fish seemed a bit much, granted it was delicious, the price should have been disclosed with the description of the dish.
The location is fantastic. We were seated outside and were able to view an incredible sunset. The food and service matched the sunset! We will definitely be back.
First time at this restaurant and impressed. Jeremy was our waiter and he has a natural talent for making everything sound enticing. As stated before in past reviews the menu doesn't seem to be static and I understand that is due to their dedication to fresh ingredients. Vegetables from the farm and what is fresh from the boats so I give this feature a plus contrasting some previous reviews. It is said, great food starts with great ingredients. Ordered what Jeremy said was fresh and it was not just delicious but also fun to eat. Great presentations and unique combinations made for visual and tasting fun as we tasted off of each other's plates to try it all. Finished with coffee grown and roasted at the farm. Wow.
Service was a bit slow. Server was a bit condescending. We aren’t big drinkers for a number of reasons and his response when ordering a soft drink was “Just a Coke?” Also telling my wife who has a weight problem about the healthy options on the menu, which he didn’t do to any other table, was rude. The lobster ravioli was the highlight of the cuisine. We were waiting roughly 20 minutes between courses. My wife got the Olive Oil Fish, which was over-cooked and I got the Seafood Risotto infused with beets. The risotto had a good texture but the sauce was a little “thin”. I was expecting more of a thicker sauce which a traditional risotto normally has. The scallops were cooked nicely and the fish wasn’t over cooked like my wife’s. We also had a beet salad which was very nice. Personally, I don’t think it was worth the hype, and there are some great restaurants in Maui. We won’t be back.
We love this restaurant, but something was off with the service. It took too long for our server to come over. He finally did and never came back. We also were seated before others around us, but our meals came out after theirs. The food was outstanding, but this time the service was not satifactory.
Everything was superb...from the service to the food to the ambiance! We love this place and would recommend it to all foodies that love fresh ingredients served in an artful manner, along with an amazing Pacific Ocean view. We’ve been coming here for years, and it’s always a pleasure. Thank you Pacifico’s and staff!
