Sunset dining at its best! Pacific’O is located on Lahaina's most beautiful white sand beach with panoramic views of three neighboring islands. This was the chosen residence and "playground" for Hawaiian royalty; here ancient kings and queens feasted and made merry. Today, enjoy the same pleasures in Pacific'O's open air dining room or on the romantic beachside patio. Long recognized as a leader in local, organic dining; Pacific'O was the first to establish their very own island farm. Each day the table is set with just harvested macrobiotic vegetables and fruit; and local fishermen deliver fresh fish still dripping from the sea. Pacific'O is a local favorite since opening in 1993.

Pacific'O Ratings and Reviews
The food was superb and service warm and attentive, but our evening was a terrible disappointment because of the loud intrusive music and applause coming from the establishment next door. It totally destroyed the beauty of a beachside table at sunset. Be sure to ask for an INSIDE table at the north end of the restaurant!
How was Pacific '0? A real disappointment. We always go there when we visit Maui and love the food, the setting. This time we took friends, telling them how wonderful it would be. Not! First, the bread was absolute dough. What chef would send that to the table? Three of us had Mahi-Mahi , none of us finished it. There was no flavor.
Although we shared salads, staters and two of us shared entire, with one bottle of wine the check was a shocker. (Again, we'd been there often, know about Maui prices.)
If I go again, I'll certainly wait awhile.
The setting is amazing! Whether you sit inside or on the patio the views are still stunning of the beach and ocean. The food was not only fresh and organic from their farm but it was interesting , very thoughtful and delicious flavors. The staff is all extremely professional and very nice. We enjoyed the happy hour pupus and live music one night so much - that we had to return for a dinner on the patio. Highly recommend!!
Fresh farm to table menu that changes daily. The food cooked perfectly. Loved everything we ordered from the ceviche to the tartar and entree. The waiter took forever to bring our drinks. The table next to us sat after us and was done way before we got our food. I don’t know if they messed up our order but food took forever and we were starving. Worth the wait as delicious but I thought the waiter was a spacey surfer dude who forgot about us.
This restaurant is magical! The best setting right on the beach, upscale while being totally warm and friendly, the food is AMAZING - so delicious that it could easily be the BEST meal on the island and the service is outstanding. Our server was FANTASTIC! Everything about this restaurant is great and you will not be disappointed, it is simply perfect on every level. Love it!
WE had not been here in over two years but we had visitors from the mainland
and we wanted to show them an ocean view and Lahina. It was a great evening.
Our guests thought it was wonderful. We came at 5:00PM and we recommend
that time. You get a good table and relax a bit before it gets busy.
This place is located right on the beach and is lovely. The food is all locally grown and fish locally caught. Our meal from the wine to dinner was delicious. The coconut crusted fish was excellent. The waiter had good wine pairing recommendations and provided excellent service. We would recommend this place.
This is an outstanding place even comparing to many other good restaurants in Lahaina. Everything was so fresh (from the farm, or from the sea) and delicious! The setting with a beach, sea, Lana’i island and sunset as a background make your dining unforgettable. Plus, a service is a top notch, as it should be at the restaurant of this level.
Excellent - again. 4.5 stars. YES we would go back. LONGER VERSION: This is our 5th time to Pacific'O over the years, and we always like the setting and cuisine. This time was no exception. SERVICE: It was a slower night (off season is early and mid December), and we were promptly seated at a seaside table. Chad - our waiter - was excellent. Enough attention and advice to make for a nice evening. FOOD: We each had a glass of wine by the glass - some are interesting finds that you would not normally see in other menus. Most are in the 89 to 92 point range. We split the House Salad - very good and very tasty. My wife had the Coconut Crusted Mahi, I had the Kona Winds prep with local fish. Very tasty - nothing left on the plate and we are not big people. OVERALL: We went early to avoid the luau noise from the show next door - we were glad we did. It was cloudy so the sunset was not in full view - but we were not complaining. Tip - time your seating 15-30 minutes before sunset. You will be glad you did. This is probably in the top 10 restaurants in Maui and we always are satisfied with Pacific'O.
Waterfront view is great. Noise from next door luau can be troublesome. Food was great but server was overly taxed and made mistakes (brought our dessert to wrong tables and made us wait a very long time for it). The prices are very high, so check the menu before going. Wines are very expensive.
We visit Maui often and every visit includes a special sunset dinner at Pacific 'O. This time the manager Lance greeted us personally and let us know that he was aware that we are regulars, that he appreciates our loyalty, and that he's aware that we consistently order the Peoni Pinot Noir. He said they were considering having a bottle ready for us when we arrive for our reservations in the future. We love Pacific 'O because the food is so consistently delicious and inventive, the service is attentive without being intrusive, and the setting is sublime. We plan to move to Maui for the winters when we retire and have been considering buying a home within walking distance of Pacific 'O so we can have a standing dinner reservation each week. It really is THAT good.
