Pacific Rim Bistro
I went to Pacific Rim to celebrate a friend's birthday. The food was good and the staff was so much fun! I would definitely go back.
The food quality was okay, but overall not very impressive . To me it felt way to expensive for the quality and the experience that I had.
The Otoro was very stale and they do not regularly stock Uni.
Pacific Rim Bistro has an impressive menu but execution of that menu doesn't always happen. I had the whole red snapper and it was just okay the Sushi was bland. The restaurant in an unusual location and kind of small. More of a popular lunch location wouldn't recommend for dinner.
Great food, contemporary atmosphere...reasonable prices... larger portion sizes. Definitely will be back.
Eli was an amazing server and the food was delicious!
We arrived in Atlanta on a Sunday afternoon and were looking for dinner, we made a reservation, but the restaurant was not busy. The servers were attentive for drink refills, but only one of the three meals were described as outstanding, and two plates were left with food on them. The “spicy calamari” seemed to be basic tempura, the dipping sauce was good. I ordered Shrimp and Scallop Pad Thai, it was OK, I ate the seafood and left most of the noodles. My son ordered two sushi rolls, again, they were OK, but not outstanding or what we are accustomed to for sushi rolls. Our guest ordered the short ribs, he said they were very tender with a good flavor. He cleaned his plate! For the cost of the meal, I felt the quality was not there, the service was adequate, but not exceptional.
Food was ok. Price was fair. Nothing that stands out in the sea of fine dining in Atlanta.
Andrea took excellent care of us - as always. Thank you so much for your awesome customer service! Our food and drinks were delightful, and we enjoyed the ambience as usual. We'll be back again soon!
This restaurant was wonderful in every way! The owner is on the premises and pays close attention too to every detail. The food is absolutely delicious. We loved the appetizers particularly the dumplings and spring rolls. It is simply the best restaurant we have ever been to in Atlanta!
Andrea was our server, and she provided us with excellent customer service. That included, the entire staff - including the bartender, the hostess, and all other personnel - worked in tandem to ensure we had a wonderful overall experience. Thank you for making our ‘date night’ great!
Great food presentation. Nice deco. Sushi was excellent
It was very hot
Very solid, been many times. Gets crowded at times and the service slows down. Good ambiance, classy Asian fusion, great value.
The food as always good and the vibe is great. My only complaint was the service. We were rushed from the moment we sat down, asked time and time again to order when we just wanted to have a conversation. I will come back, but make sure we have a different waiter.
The sushi was pretty good and a good value at happy hour, but we tried 4 different cocktails and they were all terrible.. go for the food, not the bar!
Friendly service. Definitely downtown after work feel but casual enough to just chill with drinks! Sushi is AMAZING!!!!
Food was very good. Place was clean and waiter was friendly. Would have given a 5 star but waiter forgot a custom order. He fixed it after I advised. But forgot the other diners customer order. Stuff happens but he recovered and made the dining experience nice.
One of the orders for Korean pork short ribs came out cold. There is no reason for meat that is supposed to be prepared to order to come out cold. Sent it back and they heated up the meat but not the sides. Two of us ended up having to use the bathroom before we left. Food did not sit well. I have dined there before a few times a few years ago and it was better. Not sure if the place has gone down since then or if the Sunday evening shift just wasn’t on top of it’s game.
Our server made it a five star experience! There were 6 in our party and we all loved our meals!
I should have read the reviews before booking. The spring rolls arrived over cooked and my $22 sushi roll did not taste fresh or flavorful. However, my daughter had a basic tempura roll customized to her liking and she did enjoy it. Several gnats kept bothering us at the table as we shewed them away. We had a concert to attend so, I didn’t send it back. I was surprised though that after seeing I had eaten only one piece of my roll at the end of the meal, my server didn’t even bother asking if there was an issue. With so many amazing dining options in downtown Atlanta, I’d definitely recommend skipping this one.
We were in Atlanta for a concert and this was next to where we were staying. This was a fantastic choice and will definitely be going back.
Went here with my family for dinner and was very disappointed. The smell of stale grease is noticable when you walk in and the floors look and feel like they have not been cleaned in months. Service was “awkward” for lack of a better term. And the food was horrible. This is the kind of place you feel the need to doublecheck the silverware and plates before eating just because of the dirty sticky feel the restaurant has.
Terrible sushi. Wasn’t fresh at all. The service was absolutely fine.
Food was tasty but service was poor. The wait staff was hustling but was understaffed. There appeared to be only one bartender and we were there at 6:00 so the bar and outside area was filled with people having drinks. Please consider help for bartender.
Very good food and service one block from the Marriott Marquis where we are staying.
Lamb curry was horrible has to send it back. Lamb tasted old. Hot tea was brought to table with tepid water. Steak cooked well done when asked for medium. Horrible food for Atlanta
We had a fantastic experience - as usual. Great ambiance, delicious food & drinks, and excellent service. What more could anyone ask for? 😁
Very fresh and large portions.
Excellent food. Complex flavors beautifully executed. Highly recommend. Delicious!!!
Food was terrible. Flat iron steak, cold. Vegetables cold and not fresh. Server had open lesions on his hand. They were out of most entrees- will never go back!
Everything went very well
We started with the Ceviche and an order of Spring Rolls, both of which were excellent. If I had to choose one, the Ceviche would win. We each ordered a roll and shared both, and they were both excellent. For dessert we shared the Cheesecake Spring Roll, which was outstanding. I'll definitely be back!
The menu options for dinner are very different from their lunch menu. I had the Wanchi Shrimp, it was a large portion, tons of shrimp, and very filling. The Japanese spare ribs are irresistible and the perfect appetizer!
The waiter was not attentive. We waited over 45 minutes for our food and watched people who came in after us received their food before we did. It was a high disappointment considering I spoke so highly of this restaurant to out of town guests.
Solid experience with friends at Pacific Rim. Corteous servers. Unfortunately I had a bad gastrointestinal experience with the seaweed salad but that is probably my body and not related to the restaurant.
Great food and nice atmosphere! Service was excellent as well!!
The food and service was great. Our waitress was happy to answer all the questions that we had, and gave great recommendations. The prices were on the higher end, but you definitely get what you pay for, both in portion size and food quality. Would definitely recommend!
Good food and good location. Even got to chat with the owner about traveling abroad; she was very personable. We will be returning.
