Pacific Grill - Wildwood Ratings and Reviews
Pacific Grill is an oasis in the heart of Wildwood, NJ. The food is always delicious, service on point and the atmosphere casually elegant. One of the few BYOB restaurants in town. Makes for a great night out if you don't want to deal with the bridge or parking in Cape May.
Some of the best food I have had at the shore this season. It was Wildwood resturant week and we had the $30.00 special. It consisted of wonderful appetizers, my wife and I had a crabcake as did the other couple. Everyone had the short ribs which were tender and tasteful. Three of us had the chocalate mouse and my wife had a fruit tart. All of the deserts were delicious. It is a BYOB place which adds to the value of dining there. The service was excellent and the tables were covered in nice linens. My only complaint was that our table for 4 was next to a group of 12 ladies who I believe had too much wine and were extremely loud. Other than that small complaint I would have given it an excellent rating. We definitely intend to dine there again in the near future.
We have dined here before and it has always met our expectations. Although pricey and portions tend to be small it was worth our visit. Service was great and attentive. We had the Restaurant Week menu and loved every mouthful. I had salmon and it was done to my specifications.
We went with friends during restaurant week. All of our meals were excellent and a good value at 4 courses for $30. It is a BYOB too. My husband had the lobster risotto and said it was the best he evereally had. I had the salmon which had a great sauce and was very moist. Our friends had the same meals and enjoyed them like we did. We would definitely go back.
I have always wanted to try Pacific Grill and had the opportunity during Restaurant Week. The 4 course choices were very good and my selections excellent from presentation to flavor. I will definitely return for another meal in the future. Very nice menu with diverse selections.
Had high hopes for Pacific Grill based on prior reviews, but, our experience was not a great one. Service was ok. Occasion was a birthday celebration and fare consisted of an under-dressed, under-seasoned salad with watery dressing, a very petite burrata with some stale pita chips and an interesting olive-raisin accompaniment, and a decent gazpacho. Mains were the short rib reported to be dry, a very small, but tasty, 4 oz lobster tail and what was billed as a Lobster Taco, but more akin to some cold Lobster salad and veggies in a cold corn tortilla. All in all, felt the food lacked flavor and TLC and left somewhat unsatisfied and a bit hungry. With a lot of options in the area....would be hard pressed to return for round 2.
We had a great meal off the 3 course fixed menu, and the waitress was very professional and attentive. We ate at 8:45 pm, after the dinner rush and got our food promptly. There were some large groups finishing up and starting, they were a little louder than I would have liked to be sitting near, but not much you can do about that. I recommend this place for special dining. Interesting ingredients, artfully arranged without being pretentious.
My husband and I were there last year during our summer visit to WWC and we enjoyed it! This year we went back with our group of friends! Our table was ready for us tucked in the rear of the restaurant! They offer a nice prix fixe menu which is nice when there's a large group with different budgets! They offered one special which was a beef tenderloin served with mashed potatoes and asparagus! I ordered the special cooked medium. It was delicious, however, it was rare! Still it tasted very good!
While the restaurant is very nice and the service was good, the menu isn't overwhelming and for what they charge I can't say that I really feel it's worth the price. I had the burrata appetizer which was described as being served with some kind of olive mixture on the side and a balsamic cream. The burrata was good but the olive mixture was definitely not my taste. You'd think they would take advantage of all the amazing Jersey tomatoes there are and pair it with something like that. I ordered the short ribs as my main course and I asked if I could substitute the mashed potatoes for the risotto they had with another dish but they wouldn't let me do that. The short ribs were good, a little dry and not something I'd rush to eat again. For a BYO I felt like we paid more per person than we did even in spots that had a liquor license. Not worth revisiting.
We went here because we like Union Park. The menu is very much the same at both. We feel the food is a bit better at Union Park but the restaurant and location are much better. Parking is on the street so bring change for the meters. The location is Ok but no view. For the same price the other restaurant is better. We did like the food just felt for the price we would go back to the other location.
My husband and I discovered Pacific Grill two years ago when we were staying in Stone Harbor for two weeks. During that visit in 2015 we had dinner twice at Pacific Grill, outstanding both times. This year we were back in Stone Harbor and again went to Pacfic Grill for dinner twice in two weeks!! As you can tell this restaurant is high on our list for great food, outstanding wait staff and ambiance.
We came for dinner and it was awesome. The main reason for coming here is that they were able to accomodate our daughters peanut and tree nut allergies. She ordered a nice piece of filet mignon and french fries. She also picked on her sisters mashed potatoes. The bread of course wasnt safe...but other than Disney, she usually doesnt eat the bread. All of our meals were fantastic and its BYOB...or they have local wine choices. Thank you pacific grill for accomodating our daughter on vacation. We will definitely be back!!
I'm a local and have passed this restaurant every day- never tried it or heard anything about it. My boyfriend and I were going out on a busy Saturday night and didn't want to wait an hour for a table. Open table said they had a reservation in 15 minutes so we took it! We were presently surprised inside was so romantic and nice! The food was amazing as well! We will be back again for sure! Kicking myself for not trying it sooner
