Pacific Coast Grill - Cardiff Ratings and Reviews
This was my second time visiting Pacific Coast Grill and was not disappointed. The view is spectacular. I had the Pacific Seafood Cobb Salad and it was gorgeous!
The service was great except they were quick to take away our plates before we were finished.
I highly recommend and I will be back.
We were pleasantly surprised. We were driving back from San Diego and wanted to stop somewhere along the coast for brunch. Open table recommended this spot, so we booked it. The food was very good. We were not expecting great as we were only expecting a great view. The food is as good as the view. Excellent brunch spot. We will stop again when going to San Diego.
Service was fine, nothing great, as salad came after our entrees were served. Oh well, no big deal. Great recommendation for new entree which was excellent. Great oceanfront views, even saw some whales. Will definitely return. Great ravioli meal with shrimp and asparagus.
Date night with the wife and PCG is one of our favorite spots.
Unfortunately it was overcast and we missed the sunset, but we always enjoy the food, the excellent service, and the fun crowd at PCG. Sunday Brunch is great, but like dinner, we suggest reservations!
From the kind valet (who retrieved my glasses and brought them to my table) to the caring waiter who recognized that my dear friend had Alzheimer's and needed help with ordering and more, the experience at Pacific Coast Grill was wonderful! The food was delicious and our window table for two provided a spectacular view. We'll be back!
Our meal was only spoiled by the way server brought the salad at the same moment as the entree. This has happened before here and it is wierd. So when the entree arrives it’s been sitting for 20 minutes or more under heat. Come on, PCG. YOUR FOOD DESERVES BETTER TREATMENT!
Great menu options for New Years Eve. Beautiful view from almost everywhere in restaurant at this beach front location. The service was wonderful. We will definitely be going back soon. The only thing I thought could have improved the experience is maybe dimming the lighting a bit. It is pretty bright for elegant dining and it takes away from the atmosphere and ability to see the moonlit ocean. But overall a wonderful place to dine.
Had a nice brunch on New Years Eve - as usual, the food was very good and the service quite adequate. The sushi roll was excellent. The calamari appetizer is probably the best deal on the menu, you get quite a bit, and it's tasty. The prices are on the high side, but for the quality of the food and the nice location and view, it's worth it for special occasions. Will be back.
We have been PCG customers for 18 years. The views of the ocean are superb and the food is very good. I downgraded the service, which normally is very good, on this occasion because there were four of us and our food arrived initially only for three of us. A fairly long wait ensured (I didn't time it but it seemed like 10 minutes and was well over five) but nobody ever let us know that the fourth meal was going to be delayed for some time. We notified the manager who did take the fourth dish off our bill but two of us had food that cooled off while waiting. I've noted this in prior reviews. Parking is valet only with a $5 charge and an expectation that you'll tip on top of that. The location on the waterfront is such that self parking is not possible and in addition to the charge, it can take some time for the valet to retrieve your vehicle.
Always a treat to go to Pacific Coast Grill. We had a wonderful view and our waitress, Jacqueline, was the absolute best. She gave us excellent service but didn’t rush us at all. And, she suggested we ask for her when we returned. She is a gem! The food is always excellent and there is a nice selection for lunch and dinner. We highly recommend PCG.
