Terrific scallops and risotto. Reasonable prices. Good bar. Definitely one of the best hotel meals I've had in a very long time.
Knights of Columbus, State Convention...
We came to Pacci for breakfast several times while we were guests at the The Brice, and tried a variety of their offerings. We were satisfied every time. The eggs are delicious, the avocado toast very tasty and the bagel and smoked salmon lovely, served with red onion and capers.
My only complaint would be that the thick slices of bread are a lot for these carb-conscious times, and would encourage others to request the English Muffin if you don't want the enormous slab of bread.
Their coffee is also quite good.
Good food, great ambiance and Nikki and Jasmine's service was impeccable with a smile. Mushroom pate was on point.
We were seated at 9:45am and we ordered. Hostess and wait staff were very nice. I was very excited to treat my cousins on our weekend, and as an employee of Kimpton Cardinal. We ordered eggs, grits, etc and it took for ever.
- Food came out around 10:30am
- Asked for eggs sunny side fried hard - came out runny and wait staff (I wish I remembered her name she was great and helpful in recommending things for us to do while in the area) came back
very pleasently and fixed the issue.
- A side of potatoes for our vegetarian came out cold with cheese sprinkled on top, clearly not melting. Wait staff took back and corrected with fresh plate that was hot.
- Grits came out with cheese on one order that did not request it.
We were going to come back for dinner, but opted not to eat in the hotel again. I think there may not have been a adequate amount staff in the back to support the orders being send in. Thanks!
We love Pacci. The food and drinks are amazing. The service is fantastic! Our food came out very quickly. We loved everything about our experience.
I planned a visit to Savannah to surprise my husband (for his birthday) while he was on a work trip there. I researched Italian restaurants all over the city and loved the menu for this one, only to arrive and it be a totally different menu. The food was ok, more so underwhelming. It just wasn’t what we expected. The service was the same. The waitress was kind but was not very attending (had to get up to get her attention for our check) of our table and seemed to lack knowledge of the menu. When we presented her with questions, the answer was just not very sure or clear. All in all, we ended up at a different Italian restaurant to end the night and was much more impressed with service, selection, execution and price.
We enjoyed the brunch experience at Pacci, and our server was a lovely woman. Unfortunately, we felt as though it was her first day on the job. When we asked about the quiche of the day- didn't know; asked which vegetables were in the Vegetable Primavera- didn't know. And sadly, after she left the table to inquire, her answers were vague and she was unable to clarify. Every table around ours was seated after us, they ordered and were served well before us. She was lovely, just over-matched for the job or was inadequately trained. Lastly, no one bussed empty tables, leaving dirty plates, silverware and glassware all around the restaurant. Staff walked by these tables empty-handed and never removed the items. Didn't look appetizing.
Cute atmosphere, wonderful service from the staff, and quick seating; however, the food was one of the most expensive meals I had while in Savannah and also not the best. Everything I had tasted prepackaged. I had the pork belly, which was too chewy and the presentation was unappetizing, the chicken parm, which tasted like a meal from the freezer section, and the scallops and risotto, which had a strange color and consistency overall. We maybe had one to two bites of each plate and left feeling like we overpaid for very unsatisfactory food. Like I said, everything about the restaurant is cute and cozy, just the main attraction is not good.
We had an amazing experience from start to finish our server was so sweet and knowledgeable she did a great job with our table. The ambiance was a mix of industrial with the feel of an Italian kitchen. So much detail put into the tiles and accents makes the dining experience all the better. The food and wine was amazing as was dessert and after dinner aperitif. I could not say enough good things about Pacci don’t overlook it as a”hotel restaurant” as it is a stand-alone stand out and definitely try the braised short rib and Italian chutney and cheese appetizer and if you have the chance the Meyer lemon pie. You will not be sorry you splurged on calories! Will definitely return to this restaurant again!
It was our first time here for Easter Sunday brunch. They were not very busy and we were very surprised to receive poor service and cold food from the buffet. The food that was described on their site did not reflect the food that served. We were also very disappointed in our Bloody Mary’s as we order them all the time . We are always good tippers, but had decided to do a basic 10% tip for service for a buffet and were very surprised and a bit annoyed to see that they had already charged a 15% tip for 2 people. We understand it was a holiday and sometimes these things happen, but it was for a early 12:00 reservation and the restaurant was clearly not busy. Sadly it was a very disappointing experience.
Staff was great. Food was excellent and everyone there was friendly and helpful.
Had a great time at Pacci again! Thank you for the wonderful fresh choices on the menu. Loved the Rigatoni and the Short Ribs! Can’t wait to come back to try some more things! The service was attentive and our server Shannon was adorable! We’ll see you all again soon!
Food was wonderful, service was excellent. Casual relaxed vibe. Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner
Small menu but something for everyone. Food was delicious and service was attentive and friendly.
All was good with reception of noise level. We had a table of 8 and right in the middle of restaurant.
Very much enjoyed our dinner at Pacci. The specialty cocktails we ordered were tasty. I’m thinking the bread is baked on premises which is nice but I found it a bit too salty and would have preferred it served with a nice olive oil instead of salted & peppered butter. Loved the pork belly small plate. And, the pasta our party shared was quite good.
The food was below average. Everything was a bit too salty (esp the bread) and the pasta was tasteless. We’re vegetarians though so not sure if that impacted our experience
First time here since the new chef took over. The chicken soup was hearty and the sardine open-faced sandwich a filling surprise. The unusual wine (white pinot noir from Willamette) was a happy find. Very punctual and accommodating service (pre-Music Festival show). It won't take us long to return.
Nice return to this restaurant. Enjoyed it.
I questioned why this was one of the few restaurants open for reservations in the area on short notice, now I know why! The service was overall terrible, the atmosphere was also terrible. If you have kids, stay away at all costs. They claim to have a kids menu, but then forgot to print it out and it ended up being "oh just pick a pasta and that's what we will throw in a bowl with plain red sauce" for the actual kids meal. It took 3 hours to eat dinner. The OpenTable special, forget about it, they won't honor it at all, we should have opt'ed for the 1,000 extra points vs. the special they would not provide. It took almost 30 minutes just to get drinks and the bread. The server acted as if she had never waited tables before in her lift, nor did she know much at all about the menu. The creme brulee, don't do it, it was the worst I've ever had in my lift, it was not done at all and was more like a burnt bowl of raw eggs and milk that never came together. I will give them some credit, and it could be that we were just starving, but when the dinner did come, the adult entrees were really good. The Braised Ribs and the Meatball dishes were very tasty, and their pimento cheese is also really tasty. That's why they aren't getting zero stars on my rating, that part was good. Everything else was off in taste. Even the manager came by without much resolution. We saw to gentleman sit right beside us, they were catered too, had their food asap, we sat and ordered 45 minutes before them, they had their soups, salads, and entrees before we ever saw the bread. Then the atmosphere started to make sense, anyone of a certain "group" were catered too, anyone outside of that, were left out in the cold. Oh, and the salad order was wrong too, asked for splitting the Caesar salad, she brought two, asked no anchovies, it had extra, and they wouldn't take it off of the tab either, saying that's just the way it is, you pay for the order even if it's incorrect.
Veal Marsala dish varied from what we enjoyed two weeks earlier. Short staffed; men in sport coats were helping.
I think our server may have been new so much of what happened is forgiven, but when we arrived 8 minutes early for a 5pm reservation, we were told we had to wait, even though all of the tables were empty. Maybe her shift did not officially start until 5? We had SMF tickets, which is why we were eating so early. We ordered wine, but the wrong bottle was brought to the table. We corrected the wine, but when the bill came, both bottles were on it, the one we drank and the one that was never opened and was sent back. The service was friendly, just a bit careless.
We had a table for 4 not 2. We all had Caesar Salad, and it was flavorless. Impressive white anchovies could not replace the wonderful garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon Mustard, and extra virgin olive oil flavors that were missing. Two of us had the Beef Short Ribs, which also had no flavor of simmering for hours in a wonderful sauce. I had the Veal Marsala, and it was a couple pieces of veal scallopina with a mushrooms sauce served over cold pappardelle . The sauce was too light, and lacked flavor also.
My grandson had the Meatballs, spaghetti and sauce, and only ate the meatballs. The pasta all was cold.
The prices for these entrees were high, and unforgivable due to the lack of flavor in ingredients, and proper cooking.
The restaurant is in the Kimpton Brice Hotel, so is very convenient when staying there. We were surprised when we stayed at the Brice the first time that there was a section away from the main finding room specifically set up for people with dogs. As we were staying at the Brice because of their dog policy, so to be able to keep our dog with a was very nice. The menu is not large, but everything is worth trying. We ate at this restaurant three times as we travelled through Savannah, and the food was excellent. The wine and beer choices are quite good. The seafood we;edition was excellent we tried the grouper, and the fish of the day which were fresh and really good. Not everyone travels with a dog, but the main restaurant was well payed out and the bar is quite large. I would highly recommend giving this restaurant a try.
Everything was fine, except the bar is too close to the dining. Way too noisy to carry on a conversation!
Pacci provides a delightful dining experience; the room is charming in a bistro sort of way, the menu is innovative, and the dishes beautifully presented. We enjoyed both a dinner and breakfast service at Pacci, while staying at the Brice Hotel, and they were delicious. While not an extensive menu, it is well-curated and the food very satisfying. Chef Lauren Teague is running a very fine restaurant in Pacci.
A great restaurant at the east end of town, making it a little less hectic on a weekend night relative to the city center. We started with the olive oil poached tomatoes which were outstanding; for dinner, the roasted chicken thighs which were likewise outstanding. Service was great.
This restaurant is part of the Brice Hotel. The food was probably decent, service was good...but they sat us in a hall way to the hotel and restrooms where people were running g back and forth constantly during our meal. And, they had other options. Very bad experience which made it hard to appreciate the food or the service.
Hotel patrons and restaurant. Decent food. Probably the same place they serve breakfast to hotel guests.
Food was delish. Place for trendy people. Not for kids
Christina our server was fabulous and overworked with short staff the night we visited. No cocktails available because the mixologist was off? Really? Ricotta agnelotti was ok, but I wouldn’t order it again. Husbands veal pasta was quite good. Over priced pasta. Wouldn’t tecommend Pacci to a friend.
We were so excited to go here - so many positive recommendations. However, it was St. Patrick’s Day weekend and the menu was extremely limited - like 5 choices. The food was good but not what we were anticipating.
We decided to sit at the bar for dinner and were well cared for. Food was fantastic and service was great.
My Speck wrapped white fish was outstanding! The service was excellent. The place was a little noisy
It was my birthday—staff did not acknowledge or offer cake or any special celebratory dessert option.
Great job. Nice salad and pasta. Friendly and experienced staff. Good cocktail list and clean wine menu. Thank you. We will visit again.
Me and my girls went for a girls night, everyone was friendly, wonderful service. We enjoyed our night they even told us of great places to go out to drink after dinner. Very amazing dinner and great wine.
I'd recommend a lot of other places in Savannah first- food was okay- service slow, noise was awful- couldn't here dinner conversation or the waitress.
Homemade pasta was excellent, as well as sauce. Italian wedding soup was very authentic and we are soup snobs! The salad with blanched veggies in white balsamic was so simple but done with such perfection. Loved it all!!
