Overall a decent experience. We tried the Groupon menu, and we all started off with the prawn cocktail. The prawns were pretty good and huge. I ordered the filet mignon, it was well grilled and medium rare as ordered. However, the pasta was a bit bland and dry. The desserts were not very memorable.
My steak was over cooked and was a bit loud, was there for a special birthday occasion overall nice
I ordered Tuna Poke and it was not good. The tuna was almost like beef jerky in that it was cooked and chewy. Made me think they had just chopped up an old tuna steak and put it in my entree.
Food in general tastes good. Chowder is too salty n not warm enough/ a bit cold.
Main course is good, quantity is on the lower side.
I don’t usually write reviews but this dine out experience out of my six others stood out so much. The waiter was so down to earth and genuine, he gave us food recommendations and told us if we aren’t satisfied with the dessert, we could have the other for free. Of course we didn’t ask for it but the fact he always came back to check and genuinely started conversations with us all the time plus actually good food, this restaurant was remarkable. Did I also mention, the live music was great! My three other friends and I were very impressed and had a good time. Thank you P2b!
P2b Bistro provided us a delicious dinner with dine out Vancouver menu that had good quality and quantity. Not like some restaurants, the dine out menu was less expensive by trading out the entree with smaller food portion. We order the Lobster chowder, Artic Char, beef, desserts. The Lobster chowder contains real Lobster meat. Artic Char came with asparagus and other veggies. The slow cook beef was tender with good presentation. Both creme brulee and pecan pie were tasty. The lady server treated us well with enjoyable dinner. P2b Bistro well presented the dine out Vancouver festival. I recommend them to someone have tried yet.
Waited 50 minutes for food, no one came to let us know what was going on. Chef personally delivered food & apologized. Still upset about the amount of time we had to wait.
Our company of 4 friends tried out this Bistro for the Vancouver dine-out. Ambience was good and not noisy. We all ordered the Lobster Chowder which we all find too salty and it came abit on the cool side as the waiter had told us it will not be hot as the lobster will lose their taste if it is served hot. The Artuc Char entree was tasty and for dessert we had Pecan Pie with the pistachio gelato which is good with some crunch of some salted pistachio sprinkled on the plate. Special thanks to our waiter who made our evening more delightful : he is very attentive and we appreciate his service and recommendations. We will definitely return to try their Happy hour.
Nice atmosphere. Our Dine-out experience was very good. The wine paring with dinner was a good match. Well worth it.
Fue la peor cena de fin de año que he vivido. Pesima atencion; cero ambientacion; tardaron mas de una hora en servir entre la entrada y el plato principal.
Excellent food choices, great staff members, we had a wonderful night. Thank you!
Food was poor and not worth the value paid. We will not return.
We booked an early New Year's Eve dinner. The price fixed menu was very reasonably priced and the food was delicious. Our server, Martina, was attentive and friendly. I would recommend p2b to others!
Great food. The steak melted in my mouth. Service was a little slow though. We waited a long time between our appetizers and our mains.
Christmas Dinner, not good. Other tables received more food than us, faster and better service. Won’t come again
The service was every good. And nice being available on Christmas Day.
Special turkey x-mas dinner was not good. Meat sliced too thick, dry & not very tasty. Dining room was cold/uncomfortable .
We have had special turkey dinner in previous years & it was good.
I celebrated my birthday with my family here, and we got the three-course prix fixe menu. We all agreed that the food was great, and the portions were just right.
Our server was helpful, providing tips about the food as necessary for us to enjoy our meal. P2B was also gracious about us being late for our reservation due to massive traffic in Vancouver (we came from Surrey and Pitt Meadows).
Overall, I highly recommend P2B.
We stayed at the hotel and enjoyed breakfast two mornings. The staff is attentive and helpful. We would return if staying in the Pinnacle Hotel.
Everything I look for in an evening meal out with friends. Service was great the food was quite good and the value was terrific. They even had live music the night we were there. Well done
It was great service, but the nachos were really lacking in toppings.
Host and our server ( Joanna) were great helping our group!
Our meals were delicious andvthe service attentive. Price was in line for the quality.
Great servers. Food is reasonable.
The carpet makes the restaurant look old...
It is inside of a hotel. It seems to open space.
Didn't seem ready for reservation - thought it was different number of people. Showed to seat by hostess, then waitress asked us if we had seated ourselves?
Very slow service - and loooonnnnngggg wait for food.
Food was tasty though.
I am not first time customer, food always good, and excellent service! Sure I will be back!
Excellent service. My husband had all day eggs breakfast for dinner and loved it. I had an organic greens salad and chicken tortilla soup. .. tasty
Food was really quite good and also value great - it was Canada Day, so busy and service a bit slow. Server was great.
The fries were a bit too cold when they arrived. The steak was good though.
They couldn't honor our reservation. When we asked for a newly cleared table, they sat down a walkin. Then we asked for another empty table, they advised us that it was reserved. It was almost like they didn't care that they failed to honour our reservation.
Good food must have the lamb, they do a wine pairing and some nice bc wines
The Happy Hour was awesome! Great deals. Server was attentive but the best I've ever had. Food was great value, good quality. Comfort food. Location in the lobby is not great ambiance.
Service was really great! The only thing is that food is a bit bland - maybe just putting salt and pepper shakers can help alleviate that...but both our dishes were a bit bland. Maybe it was an off day.
The service and ambience were very good. The lamb cannelloni was not terribly flavourful and it was dry. Everything else was very good.
We went to P2B to try somewhere different for Dine Out Vancouver. We were both very happy with our menu selections and enjoyed our wine (we decided to skip the wine pairings). The waiting staff were very efficient and happy to chat and give advice, which was great
We enjoyed a great meal and loved the variety that's available for our gluten free needs. Thank you.
All seven of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Very tasty.
This is a bar/restaurant inside of a hotel, and feels as such. We got dressed up, being from out of town, and realized when we arrived, this was more of a pub-like experience than anything else. Our waiter was awesome, but the food was okay; definitely not anything special.
The perfect place to catch up with a friend in a relaxed atmosphere. We will be back for dinner again soon!
The Service was great. We were seated right away and the food was wonderful. They were really accommodating and made for a great meal.
