Terrible, inattentive, rude service. Bland processed food clearly from bags from the freezer. Loud, mediocre live music.
It was a very nice restaurant with good service. Would definitely go back.
And I highly recommend to my friends and family. Very nice view from the dining area.
Ot was nice my daughter loves her french toast and her hot chocolate
The food was very good but except she got my order wrong so I had to wait a bit to get what I ordered. The quality of the food was excellent.
Lovely dinner - we did the ‘Dine out Vancouver’ menu. We were celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary
Salmon was a little over cooked, large servings, overall excellent experience.
Great place , food and service. Really worth it.
Was a special night out, we never celebrate Valentines
Glad we did
Amazing
We visited for a causal dinner on Friday, Feb 12th. It was very disappointing when a manager walked up to our table to inform us we CANNOT use our Ent coupon because it was a Valentine’s Day weekend. It was unreasonable to exclude the Ent coupon 2 DAYS before Valentine’s.
We come often and I did not feel we were valued. I only found out that P2B opt’d into the Entertainment Book deal on Feb12 until we were unexpectedly and unreasonably denied using the coupon on a regular Friday. The coupon has no condition on using on weekends. I would understand if it was on Valentine’s Day - Feb 14th, but it was NOT!
It was hard to find the entrance, we took the stairs (i guess in the back?) and was confused on the instructions about location of the entry door. We ordered Valentines Dinner Special. Did not like any of the main dishes (I was able to try 3 out of 4 ). Food was not warm. Staff serving us was also cold. Maybe because we were all girls. Not sure if the place was LGBTQ-friendly.
Live music/singer was great.
just had drinks there and they were good! waiter was very nice
We dined there for our New Years Eve Celebration. Zero decorations in the hotel, $74 each for minimal food, plain formica laminate tables, zero ambiance . Very disappointed. We live locally, stayed at the hotel and booked dinner in advance, thought we would have a special night...sadly the environment didn't deliver.
Great food, good service. Will come back for their all day Happy Hour!
It was a nice cosy place
Great friendly service. Would dine here again for any meal.
The servers were very nice!!! Food was delicious! Two great qualities to a successful eatery.
Above average Hotel restaurant with gourmet food and a fine ambiance. Excellent service from hostess to waiter. We went for Christmas dinner and had their special 3 course menu which was excellent and reasonably priced for a downtown hotel. Well worth a return visit!
I had to send back the first prime rib as it was well done and I had ordered medium rare. The medium rare prime rib was delicious! I ordered the 3 course dinner for $45 and it was well worth it. Both the salad and black forest cake dessert were very tasty. I'd order all of them again.
Lovely customer service and the staff was amazing. Made Christmas very enjoyable!
We had our Christmas eve dinner there. The service was great and the food was good but the serving size for main was kinda small.
Overall the experience was ok but I don’t think we’ll go back there
Staff wax fantastic. Overall food for Christmas eve was disappointing. Turkey was cold and the prime roast was warm and could have used a steak knife to cut it instead of the butter knife given.
I ordered the Angus Burger and my husband had the turkey sandwich off the Christmas menu and they were both amazing!
Drinks we're just as tasty!
Excellent service and food. Staff very friendly and efficient. Lovely ambiance.
Friendly service, quite location and delicious brunch.
Meals were great and came quickly. Kids loved the French toast!
Very nice atmosphere.
Good breakfast, served in a timely manner.
Top service!
Excellent food and service!
Amazing Experience! Service is outstanding
Good food and good service. Nice restaurant in a hotel lobby.
Our server was the best!! Thank you!!
Overall everything is good except the dining table. It's too bad.
Good hefty breakfast and coffee! Good value for money. thanks!
Everything was fine, just wouldn’t choose it again.
Nice restaurant tucked away at the pinnacle. If you want a restaurant that is not too loud but within Coal Harbour this is it.
The patio is great, an outdoor experience and nestled into the surrounding city really nicely. Food was okay, the service very good.
Lutzik(? Spelling) is always friendly and attentive! Great all-day happy hour menu on drinks and food. The calamari was great. We tried the short-ribs and the portion is good BUT overcooked a bit. I should have tried the salmon as the waiter seems to be suggesting that dish. We also had the sampler appie from GroupOn voucher and that was very good!
The happy hour menu had enough appys to share and the cost was reasonable. My friend had the Caesar salad and she really enjoyed it.
We went for lunch for the Dine Outside Vancouver promotion. Decided to sit inside as they had done a really good job at managing distancing for COVID-19 concerns. The atrium is very high and so airy and air quality was good.
Service was very good.
One of us ordered from the Dine Outside set menu ($35) and the other ordered from the regular menu.
The Dine Outside stone fruit salad was excellent; truffle fries from the regular menu were nicely cooked “meatier” fries (not steak-cut) but the white truffle oil in the dip didn’t lend enough truffle flavour.
For the mains, the Dine Outside grilled salmon was extremely overcooked and dried out. The organic spelt and quinoa pesto pilaf, sautéed mushrooms and spinach side was excellent. Off the regular menu the Haida Gwaii halibut was also extremely overcooked and a huge letdown, and overpriced at nearly $35 (if it had been cooked properly I would probably think the price was okay). In both cases the fish portion was large. With the regular menu, the sides were uninspired. Presentation for both dishes was very good.
For the dessert, we tried the only DOV option - a house-made ice cream - vanilla bean and ube - with a sprinkling of Skor bits and a few fresh berries. Quite nice.
Cocktails were excellent. No complaints there. But I asked for a cappuccino with the dessert and had a like-warm mug of coffee that was more latte than cap. Definite fail there.
I often judge a dining experience on how well the meal finishes with a coffee. A disappointing coffee is a sure sign of lack of interest somewhere in the process. A small detail that can really colour the whole experience.
Overall somewhere between 3 and 3.5 - they did try hard with the COVID-19 safety aspects, and service was very good. But their fish chef really must not eat fish.
The service was great and the food was delicious.🙂🙂
Loved the food and the outdoor patio! Thank you for a great experience.
