After a several years gap in visits I was please to find the food and service as impeccable as I remembered. The food was amazing and presented beautifully. Our server Matt was wonderful! Can't wait for another visit

We were disappointed in our visit (first time trying it). We thought the place was very noisy, not condusive for conversation. While we had no complaints about our food, we can go to Mystic Fish, which is closer, and get as good or better and a bit less expensive. In your favor, our waiter was excellent, paced the meal perfectly. Our salted caramel crème brulee was VERY disappointing and was like mush with no real flavor like other brulee we have had. All in all, I could not recommend this restaurant to my friends.

Another great meal at Oystercatchers. We both had the grouper with rum and sweet potato puree and haricots vert and our son had the Ahi tuna. Both dishes were outstanding. We also had the Ahi Poke appetizer. It was good but tough to share. Don't bother to use the chop sticks. They can't get all of the poke in your mouth. Use a fork. Always a great meal.

Very nice view. Would recommend for special occasion but a little pricey for regular dinning. Staff nice and attentive. Portions small. Grabbed a burger down the road after we ate here.

As expected, the seafood was fresh and well prepared. No sauces were cheaply sugared up. The taste was good because the ingredients were good.

I attended a business meal yesterday. We arrived at 11:45am and sat outside. We ordered from the menu and waited 30 minutes for bread and another 30 minutes for our food. When we finished, we asked the bill be split by the seven of us. We waited another 30 minutes for her to split the bill because their system could only split the bill 4 ways. I will not return for lunch. I had business associates from out of town and I recommended the restaurant. I was very embarrassed.

The service was phenomenal and the food was excellent. Fresh local seafood prepared in a very innovative and original ways. The only drawback was the noise level in the restaurant as it is mostly all tile and not much available to absorb the noise.

I decided to try Oystercatchers for my wife's birthday and made a reservation. We ran late and they were able to modify it for us with no hassles. We were promptly greeted and sat upon arrival. The drinks as pictured below were fantastic! The smoked bourbon manhattan was especially good! We had the lobster bisque which was to die for and the bread they brought out was delicious. I had the lobster Mac and cheese which was amazing, and my wife had the filet which was cooked perfectly and she said it was one of the best steaks she had ever had! The service was quite exceptional as we never thought it was taking a long time..... I highly recommend this place, and we are excited to come back and try other entrees!

Had a tastey good meal and service. Recommend the mixed grill entree. Negative comments are 1. They need to dust the cobwebs in the corners and along the light fixtures in dining room. And the restuarant is located near the airport, so the plane noises are annoying

This is a really wonderful restaurant. Not only did they acknowledge my husband’s birthday immediately, but all throughout the dinner they recognized how special this occasion was for us. Beyond that, the food was truly delicious. I had the fillet, and on usual choice for seafood restaurant. However the fillet one is spectacular. It melted in my mouth, the sauce was delicious and the blue cheese crumble was the icing on the “filet”. Dessert was on the house, due to my husband’s birthday, and the wine from Spain was excellent and reasonably priced. This is a special place.

The view is great and it has good ambiance. The food is good and the service is excellent. It is a restaurant where you can carry on a conversation and hear the other person. The bad news is that it is expensive. For two of us with each having a cocktail, a bottle of wine ($99), split an appetizer, two dinner entrees’ and split a dessert, we spent all in, $285. This is a little pricey since we are Tampa Florida, not New York. Parking however, is complimentary.

What happened to this restaurant? We were a group of six. The waiter brought water, but did not ask about what kind of water we'd prefer (sparkling, perhaps).
The appetizers were reasonable (clams and oysters), and the waiter seemed to try to indicate that we should know that the shrimp were 'very large', but at least he allowed our party to decide how many we'd like.
Three of us ordered tuna, but it seemed that the chef could not decide how to prepare it. It was ordered rare, and at best, was medium. There was no "crust"...just bland grey color. It was served with ginger, wasabi, and soy on the side with chopsticks, but wasn't "ahi" style, so couldn't figure out what that was all about. One of our party ordered the tuna "composed", but the waiter brought an incorrect version of the tuna. It was re-plated, but it was obvious that the fish was just 'dumped' on the plate.
The whole snapper was a surprise to one guest; it was served whole...with a crust, head and tail, and the waiter should have explained what it was going to look like. The scallops were 'fair'.
Desserts were limited, and just not what we expected. Water for tea was tepid.
Overall, not what we expected from this restaurant.

I feel your menu for the $55 brunch fell short. I expected crab legs or at least crab cakes. We were put in a side room butted up against the servers quarters. I felt like we were in a back room. Everyone was so noisy - it was not like the last time we were there. We usually recommend your establishment to our out of town guest for a superb brunch. I was disappointed. Will still to lunch and dinner only.

The food was good and the view was great. But what made it not a top notch experience was the service. It seemed that the staff did not care about service or were not trained. Rushing to get our order , not clearing the table , just dropping the bread in front of you as if saying here. I wanted to love the place but with a staff that is giving half there effort I feel I couldn’t.

Excellent service, great food but volume of the crowd is loud. First, sat outside but noise from motor of mister overhead was bothersome so we moved indoors where the volume of a packed restaurant made for a less intimate experience.

Been to Oyster Catchers many times. Seem to have lost their mojo. Ordered the most expensive seafood tower on the menu. Food was brought out on plates without ice. Everything was room temperature. Had a bad set of oysters, which we had them take back. They attempted to make it good at the end, which was nice. Unfortunately it wasn't the bday dinner I intended.
