The menu will highlight all things fresh seafood with an influence that’s anchored mainly on the East Coast. Oyster Bah Ratings and Reviews
BEST seafood and atmosphere of a seafood restaurant I’ve had in Chicago!! Clam chowder, hush puppies, lobster roll, crispy chicken sandwich, crispy tacos... oh and the oysters! We all shared and it was all amazing. Highly recommend!! Also very yummy and fun cocktails and a great happy hour.
I've been wanting to try this place for a while and I was not disappointed! All of the seafood tasted very fresh and each dish was flavorful. The cocktails were great too! I will say it seemed a little expensive for the atmosphere, but I guess you'll always pay a premium for good seafood when you live in the middle of the country. I will definitely be coming back!
A most enjoyable evening at Oyster Bah! Despite it being Chicago Restaurant Week, our table was ready on time. Our server was attentive but never pushy. Appetizers were very good -- oysters were tasty, and fried calamari was large enough for two. Entree choices all met or exceeded expectations -- classic mussels, fried chicken, and linguine. French fries galore! Dessert was 50/50 -- the peppermint ice cream was okay, but the key lime pie was deelish. The Lettuce Entertainment touch was evident from start to finish. Predictably satisfying. We will return!
I hear Oyster Bah being advertised on the Steve Dahl podcast and have been thinking of trying it for a bit. Did not disappoint. Server was great. Let him know it was our first time there. Walked us through menu and recommended some favorites. Mostly we needed help selecting some Oysters. With servers help we chose 3 very different oysters (6 total) including a pair from Prince Edward Island. They were fantastic. Also ordered octopus, brussels sprouts, and stone crab legs from Florida. All delicious. Looking forward to going back and trying more of the entrees.
Madly in LOVE w/the keylime pie !!!!!!
Get your BBQ sauce on the side when ordering the ribs. It's a bit spicy !!!
Yummy mac & cheese, I asked them to refrain from adding panko.
If you're LUCKY enough to get Dion to serve you then your night just got EVEN better.
The food was good. The bowl of clam chowder was very tasty. THe seafood salad was a little disappointing due to less seafood than I expected. Went on restaurant week, so price was reasonable. It would have been nice to have some dessert.
Since it was groundhog day, they gave me a gift certificate for the value of my meal
This has been one of our favorite spots since it opened. The environment is fun and chill and the food is fantastic. My fiance proposed to me here-- the staff and waiter were unbelievably kind and helped to set everything up. Not only did we get to have our favorite food at our favorite place, but we also got to celebrate a very special occasion in a personalized way!
My friends and I had an enjoyable dinner here last night. The place is nice for a casual night out. Service was great; not overbearing, but helpful and friendly. When we first arrived around 8:30 pm, the place was very lively and pretty loud. This was totally fine with us, but thought I should note. As the night went on it naturally quieted down. The music was a great treat, all songs played helped to create a pleasant atmosphere. The place could be cozy, but unfortunately we sat in a spot that was not. It was close the crowded entrance and bar. The four of us continually ordered food for the table to share. Our favorites were the Thai Red Curry Mussels and the oysters. They have a great cocktail list that appeals to a variety of tastes. I think it's a great place to snack on bites and enjoy cocktails, although they have plenty of entree options as well. I will definitely come back.
I came with a group of 6 for Restaurant Week. We ended up ordering off the regular menu and sharing a bunch of small plates. The oysters were amazing! In fact, they were so good we ended up ordering 3 dozen. My husband and I love oysters and these were the best we have ever had. The service was a bit slow but in their defense, it was a Friday night at 8:00 during Restaurant Week. We also had the Red Curry Thai Mussels, Whole Snapper and Brussels Sprouts. All of them were delicious. I am looking forward to going back for Happy Hour.
