Celebrated a special occasion in the Oyster Club proper. Excellent bonefish entrees and service. Relaxed rustic interior. If back in Mystic for a more casual meal, I’d like to hit the Treehouse.
Food was incredible. If you are visiting Mystic I highly recommend.
Was our first time in Mystic and found the Oyster Club on opentable. Made a reservation for brunch. Arrived and were greeted and seated promptly. Our server, Russell, was very friendly and very welcoming. We told him it was our first visit to Mystic and he gave us great things to check out.
I got the poached eggs breakfast and it was phenomenal. Every bite was full of flavor and the serving was a great size. My fiancé had the pastrami sandwich and also said it was very good. (He’s can be picky sometimes)
Overall, if you’re in the area, don’t miss out on this gem. It’s cute and quaint. The service and food were fantastic and if we ever make it back to Mystic, Oyster Club is definitely where we’re going to eat.
A lovely atmosphere, friendly, efficient service and excellent food. A bit pricey, but worth it.
I have to eat gluten and dairy free and this was the first restaurant to served me a complete entry with a delicious sauce that's didn't make me sick. Kudos!
Great restaurant! Fantastic food, service, etc. We didn't even notice the noise level.
Fantastic service and great seafood. We especially loved the red shrimp app.
Terrific service, outstanding food. All around wonderful dining experience
The food was exquisite and the service was impeccable, I have never had such an amazing night.
I took my now girlfriend here for the first date and after that night, we are now together and I believe your amazing waiting staff really gave a 110% and I thank you for the great work and plan on dining at Oyster Club again.
The food is consistently great. Well presented and unique marrying of flavors, using local ingredients.
My daughters took me for a Mother’s Day treat and what a delightful treat it was!
I look forward to enjoying the Oyster Club in the future!
Have been the Mystic Oyster Club a number of times - it’s a must-go dinner or raw bar stop whenever I am in Mystic. It is consistently excellent. Menu changes daily. Fresh fish (as well as meats and vegetarian options), very well prepared with local farm ingredients. Very fresh raw bar. Craft cocktails and beers. Entree portions are generous. Comfortable upbeat atmosphere - not formal or stuffy. Just right. Excellent, friendly service. Best bowl of clam chowder, period. Brought my mother-in-law and her family for Mother’s Day and everyone loved it. Haven’t tried the Tree House outdoor seating yet. Waiting for better weather. Looking forward to it.
Best brunch. Period.
Food and service were excellent. Got a reservation for Sunday brunch at 10am. It needed. Place was empty when we got there. I need to go back for dinner sometime!!
Excellent food and service!!
The restaurant staff is very welcoming, the food is fresh, they grow their own herbs and use local sources for their seafood, meat, and spices. We enjoy the oysters happy hours. Always a vibrant clean restaurant. The desert is made from scratch and they are delicious. Overall, great place to eat and socialize!
Excellent bread. Draft beer selection could be improved
Perfect ambience. Knowledgeable and passionate waiter. And terrifically sourced and prepared fish and steak. You cannot go wrong at Oyster Club.
What a gem! Excellent and creative food, gorgeous atmosphere, and such a lovely experience.
Always a great experience. Never a bad meal, table or server. We always look forward to our outings at the Oyster Club!
great local and seasonal menu with a fun cocktail list. Staff is friendly and made my anniversary dinner a special one!
Great spot! The food and service were outstanding. Excellent spot for a date or special occasion. Love it!
Stopped off in Mystic, CT on my way back from Providence. I had an early dinner at the Oyster Club. I loved it! Totally worth the stop off i95. The servers were polite and knowledgeable, the atmosphere was elegant yet cozy and the food was fantastic!
This small, cozy spot in Mystic, CT has become very popular, and for good reason. The food is very creative and expertly prepared while the service is friendly and attentive. My wife and I split a salad that was so good, we were sorry we didn't each order one. Our entrees were delightful.
Be sure to make a reservation, as the restaurant gets very busy, particularly on weekends. During the summer months it may be necessary to book your table a couple of weeks in advance.
Worth the 2.5-3 hour drive from Brooklyn! Never disappointed!
Not only was our table not ready when we arrived, but we had to wait more than 30 minutes to be seated. Some of our party had to stand the entire time. The hostess ignored us for 20 of those minutes, studiously avoiding making eye contact even though we were forced to stand less than two feet in front of her face. When we finally were seated, it was a table for four with a fifth place setting added to end, putting that person in the very narrow aisle between tables and directly in the line of traffic. This was a birthday celebration and three of the five people were over 75 years old. It was uncomfortable, unpleasant and while the food was fine and server courteous, it was in no way worth the long wait. We will not return.
One of our favorite restaurants on the shoreline. Always a winner
Mystic Oyster consistently delivers excellent food, ambiance and nice, knowledgeable staff.
Such a pleasure!
We have been numerous times, but this was by far the best meal we have had— delicious all the way around, and attentive service. It does get quite loud in there just due to the small size of the dining room, so not a place to go if you mind talking over the background noise!
Food was great. Service was friendly and helpful.
Shad was awesome and so was the Tofu bowl special.
It was a pleasure to dine at the Oyster Club! My husband is the oyster fan, so sampled 1/2 dozen of all the offerings and loved them. I tried the green salad with a caramelized shallot, tahini and Meyer lemon dressing which was just wonderful - a different and delicious dressing! For the entree, I tried the fluke which was delicate and crispy in its sauce atop a bed of polenta. My husband couldn't pass up the tagliatelle with beef ragu, and he wasn't disappointed. Our meal was delicious!
Great food, great service, great ambiance and location...loved it for brunch on a bright Sunday
Great food, daily changing menu. Food was fresh and delicious. Very cute interior.
Outstanding as always. We just love this place. Farm and Sea to Table!
The oysters on the half shell were excellent as always, the glass of wine very good and the bread terrific. A main course of monk fish was so-so and a pasta appetizer was too weighted down with ingredients.
Lunch was great and a perfect place to meet up with the family. So many great food choices and the wait staff was friendly. The little outside space in front is a great place to have a cocktail or beer in the sun. Can’t wait to go back and enjoy their outside patio.
great bread which keeps me returning. food excellent as well. main dining room lacks ambiance.
My anniversary and birthday
This was a great meal. Menu changes all the time and our meal was very fresh and showcased the local ingredients very well.
Service was a bit slow. We were at the restaurant for 3 hours for dinner for four. However, we had a great meal and a great time!
