Dan Meiser and his team provide an amazing fare. Farm to table ensures wonderful quality. The recipe's are creative. Awesome oysters. Great wine selection, by the glass and by the bottle. My favorite restaurant in the area.

Service could have been better, but the food was good and the setting was nice and “New Englandy”. Our waiter took $12 off for a very late arrival of clams, without us asking for it. I’d recommend the very tasty clam chowder which seemed like it was made super fresh upon ordering.

We love the Oyster Club. The menu is ever changing and very creative using unique ingredients. The best part is, no matter how adventurous our choices may be, the plate is always delicious. It’s great way to try new things. We highly recommend dining at the Oyster Club.

Our second visit...my wife and I had the manicotti; unfortunately it was sodden and heavy handed with no distinction between shell and interior. Neither of us finished our meal. Unexpected, since we were over the moon on our first visit a few weeks ago.
Our guest had the monkfish...FABULOUS!!
Dessert and wine were high spots as well.

Will see you again, soon.

The Oyster Club was the perfect antidote to cure us from the assault on our senses called Foxwoods Casino. We drove to Mystic for brunch, peace and civility; and the Oyster Club delivered. We had fresh and delicious $1.00 Ram Island oysters, and the best New England clam chowder we can remember, followed by poached eggs with slow roasted bacon on cornbread with hollandaise. It was remarkable.
We are planning a return trip in warmer weather with some friends.

We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant from start to finish, Beau was exceptional with his outstanding service and knowledge of everything on the menu. We are big foodies but this was some of the best food we have eaten in a long time. Apparently the menu changes daily, wish we could have had room for dessert but we were too full
Really looking forward to our next visit

We come here for brunch at least once a month. We have never been disappointed. The food is outstanding because the chefs use fresh, local ingredients and there is always a creative flair to everything they serve. If you want run of the mill food, don't come here. But if you want your meal to be an experience for your taste buds, this is the place.

We were visiting Mystic for our 22nd anniversary and I made reservations here after reading some reviews on line. My wife is gluten, soy and dairy free which is sometimes difficult for restaurants to handle. The Oyster Club did a great job at changing some of their recipes to accommodate us using fresh ingredients that were not even on the menu.
The waiter was awesome, he knew the menu inside and out and had a great understanding of the dishes and what might be good alternatives to meet my wife's dietary restrictions.
Great job!

I have a bit of a mixed review for The Oyster Club. Based on the reviews I read, my husband and I were really looking forward to dining here on our weekend away. On the positive side, the bar area is lovely and we were lucky to get the two club chairs in front of the fireplace; drinks and wine were great and the service was excellent. The service was also excellent in the dining room, and our appetizers (mussels and chowder) were delicious. However, we were both slightly disappointed with our entrees. I had the scallops which were delicious, but the squash puree on the side was cold and not that tasty. My husband had the pasta and meat dish and while the pasta itself was homemade and good, the sauce was too acidic, making the whole dish a bit off. For dessert, we got the milk chocolate ice cream which was excellent, but the biggest disappointment of the night was the cake we ordered. Our waiter said it had been made that morning but our slice tasted really strange, almost like it was freezer burned. We commented on this and it was taken off our bill which we really appreciated. So, overall, we'd would give this restaurant another try in the future, but we'll definitely be trying other options first.

Another fabulous meal at oyster club! Waitress and chef were super kind and gracious about accommodating my mother’s difficult dietary needs (no garlic, shallot or bacon) and my daughter’s limited vegan palate. Wine pairings with meals were excellent and everyone loved their meal. Our favorite restaurant hands down!

Fresh ingredient is the key. Fish, oyster, scallop are all fresh. The service was great. the servers knows their foods and wines. Good wine suggestion that matched the food wonderfully. Besides, it is a lovely venue.

This is a farm-to-table/boat-to-table restaurant. It is absolutely amazing! And the menu changes daily so there is always a new amazing thing to try. It's cozy and romantic, and you can dress up or down and much as you want. It also has a bar but I haven't been, but there were a lot of people so I bet it's great.
