Oyster Club Ratings and Reviews
Server was perfect, very attentive and wasn’t trying to rush us out. Our waters stayed full and the food came out perfectly.
We were looking to just relax and catch up w some friends and we were able to do that without someone breathing down our throat.
Of course as always, the oysters were perfect! Always fresh, clean and cleanly shucked. Nothing’s worse than getting a mouth full of shell.
This is definitely a top choice for my husband and I when we’re in town, and can get a table.
Lovely experience, as always. Our friends were delayed and half hour late. I love that Oyster Club seats you anyway, let’s you get comfortable and relax with a drink. Oysters perfectly served. All food delicious, they have grass fed beef! Our server, tall nice looking young man stufying to become a sommelier, was excellent. Right on with timing but never intrusive. We’ll go back!
Perfect tuna: Seared rare, bed of arugula, anointed with a tasty sauce. Perfect salad: Fresh greens, plump tomatoes, colorful peppers, anointed with tasty dressing. Perfect desert: Feathery light crust surrounding sweet pears, anointed with luscious sweet cream. Perfect service. Perfect dining experience!
An awesome experience with delicious food and the very best server Beau who put up with our shenanigans and was very efficient and friendly. Thanks for the well presented birthday dish. Well done.
One thing, i ordered the restaurant week menu with some oysters to start. However that then made everything I ordered a la carte which i wasn't told about until the end. Weird, as I have been dealing with restaurant week for 20 years in every city and this was a first.
Never disappoints- from the perfect French Martini, incredible bread-great service.Tagliatelle with beef ragu as good as Italy. The fluke was just a touch bland but fresh & good nonetheless. The best tasting menu in town for sure. We have also gone when its not restaurant week and its always great.
We are foodies and we just love this restaurant! I had the very best steak I have ever eaten, hands down. Cooked to perfection, tender and deliciously seasoned. The clam chowder we both selected as an appetizer was unusually thin lacking in flavor and ingredients (barely any clams, potatoes, celery, bacon, etc.). We have had the clam chowder in the past and have always loved it. My husband's tilefish entree was dry and was served on a bed of vegetables that did not enhance the dish. We will go back.
Everything from the warm bread and whipped butter - to the tasty mussels - to the outstanding molasses cake for dessert was excellent. Our waitress Heather was professional and delightful. This is a wonderful spot that offers fine dining without being pretentious or obnoxiously overpriced. Highly recommend.
Had an absolutely wonderful brunch! The food was fresh, well prepared, and delicately balanced. The food had just the amount of dressing, sauce, and/or spices, so that we could actually taste what we were eating (unlike most restaurants that drown their food). A great meal to close our New England tour. Thank you to the chef and serving staff, they made us feel very much at home!
Really excellent overall experience for us. Our first time there and everything was first rate. We would go back just for the complementary breads. Pasta dish was outstanding. Prosciutto appetizer was skimpy and dessert was nothing out of the ordinary, but overall, a five star experience. We will drive over an hour to go there again.
We have been to the Oyster Club before, but not for Sunday brunch. It was outstanding in every way; from the Mimosa to the poached eggs, the Egg Fritatta to the Almond Brown Butter cake, the food was excellent. The service, thanks to Boe, or Bow, was equally excellent. Brunch in the Oyster Club dining room requires a reservation, though you can take you chances with bar seating. For a special occasion this is a wonderful venue. It is not inexpensive, but you do receive what you pay for. And if oysters are your thing, find a seat at the bar and watch John do his thing. Shucking oysters is an art form!
A Great Family Dinner.
We had a very nice meal at the Oyster Club. Fresh shucked oysters and fantastic fresh Tuna. I ordered the tuna rare and it arrived just a few degrees warmer than the Poke I had a few weeks ago. It was oh so good too! Not a speck left in the bowl! My daughter, a vegetarian had the at pappardelle with roasted pumpkin. The pasta with the beef Ragu was outstanding.
Excellent service, innovative presentations and fresh cuisine make the a sure bet. If we planned better we would have loved having a drink or two sitting in the "treehouse" as the sun set! We will plan on this next time.
