This was our first visit to the Oyster Club, but it won’t be our last. The dining room ambience is modest and quiet. Our server was informative and engaging without being intrusive. The menu is limited, about a half dozen locally sourced mains, primarily seafood, with one vegan option. It is a daily menu and on our visit was vastly different from the menu available online. Our three choices were delicious and excellently prepared.

The food was delicious, slightly
On the upper range of pricing. The service was just okay. They only had one server on for the whole floor and we were left waiting often, the dining experience was a bit longer than normal because of that. Other than that it was very nice and I would return to try other dishes or maybe at dinner
When there are more servers on the floor.

Food, ambiance and overall experience were all excellent! A couple of small service hiccups were small inconveniences, but the staff was courteous and fixed the issues very quickly. Will definitely be recommending Oyster Club in the future.

Amazing restaurant with a new daily menu based on locally sourced ingredients. At least 4 kinds of fresh oysters and other raw bar treats. Solicitous service without being overbearing, amazing cocktails, exquisite food. A truly perfect restaurant!

I absolutely loved everything about this place the minute I saw it. My server was great, I forgot her name but she was a pretty brunette with the kindest eyes, and was super knowledgeable about the food and the area in general. I was amazed by the quality and the exquisite taste of every dish. The mussels were so heavenly, the Bolognese was to die for and I actually think I went to heaven while eating the pot de creme. Beautiful unique place, perfect for my anniversary. I’ll be back very often.

I stopped by the Oyster Club for happy hour and then dinner and as usual, I was completely delighted with the experience. I've frequented the restaurant in the past and have many regular dishes that I love.
I started by arriving a bit earlier then my reservation and had a cocktail and a half dozen local oysters in the bar for happy hour. The local oysters are $1 each during happy hour and they have many really great specials at that time. The oysters were fresh, briney and super tasty with my drink while I waited for my table to be prepared for dinner.
I was called in right on time and had already decided on what I would select for my meal.
For the First I had the Sauteed Point Judith squid in a citrus sauce which was superb, I love Squid and Octopus and this dish was one that I would repeat and now a favorite.
For my Second I had the Roast Duck served rare and sliced, served over rice and greens which too was superb. I would repeat this dish as well.
One point that should be considered is that many dishes are prepared by the night, that is, these two dishes were offered that night and one has to see when they arrive what is on the evening menu.
They do have others like the Handmade Tagliatelle with a ragu of prime beef, pork, vegetables, white wine, cream, parsley and Parmigiana Reggiano, my #1 backup here, that are served regularly but I do like the surprise of what the Chef and staff have to offer on their nightly menu so no matter what, I get exactly what I want at a very fair price! This, when one considers that all of the ingredients are the freshest available and the quality of the Fish and Meats out of this world. The meats can also be purchased through their own Butcher shop in town, Grass and Bone.
I regularly dine at this and their other related establishments and have always been very happy with the excellence offered, the ingredients and the wines and cocktails which are up to the level of quality of the food prepared and served. Superb!

Wow this place was amazing. They change the menu each day. They only use the freshest ingredients from local farms and use the freshest catch of the day. The menu has some unusual pairings but everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant to any foodie that is looking for a dinner in Mystic.

On February 20th my husband and I had a lovely experience at the Oyster Club.
Our table by the window was great and our server was excellent. She understood our desire to have a leisurely dinner and spaced our food and drink accordingly. We never felt rushed but we, also, never felt neglected.
The food was delicious! I ordered the scallops which were amazing...served on top of parsnip puree with roasted beets. My husband ordered the pork shoulder...also, delicious.
As for dessert...we shared a dish of the best vanilla bean ice cream ever made!
This was our second time at this restaurant even though it is a 2 hour commute from our home. We'll be back!

The food is too salty as a general rule. Also, the parsnip soup was bizarre with floral and a kind of turpentine overtone. I’ve had parsnip soup before ( and had something similar a couple of years age there ) but it was not like this. Are you experimenting on us patrons ? Also, the french fries were sitting in the au jus, not the beef. Therefore the fries absorbed the au jus and got soft and there wasn’t enough au jus for the beef. It was not a good meal. My husband was disappointed also.

Service was very slow. Good was ok. Decently priced and portioned, but I had the duck crepe which was odd. The crepe was crispy and great and the rest of the dish was watery and bland. My husband had the smoked tofu, which had a large portion of fried tofu but not much else to it. The mussels however were delicious and so was the bread.

Wonderful dining experience on Valentine’s Day. House made pasta with lobster in lemon cream sauce and beef tartare for appetizers after a dozen of sweet, fresh oysters. Scallops and duck breast were our mains with inventive accompaniments using fresh local ingredients. Freshly baked, warm bread I can’t ever seem to resist was provided. Special dietary request was honored—no added salt. Also, special drink request was fulfilled. Many thanks to Dan and Russell and your awesome staff!

Experience was perfect, from the drinks, the warm bread and soft butter, the creative flavor combinations that enhanced my perfectly done scallops, to bizarre and wonderful cinnamon infused marshmallow that accented the sweet potato pot de creme, and of course the important flavorful coffee finish. My wife's was good too! The ambience is warm and homey. Service spot on.

1 martini in a thimble 2 glasses of white wine not generous, 1 bowl chowder, 1 tagliatelle, 1 pan roasted fluke: plus 20% tip........ $150 dollars.
The place is just not that special.
You could go to a local tavern and get a better meal at half the price.
I assume they expect the - farm to table- destination warrants gouging.
I can afford an overpriced meal....I felt badly for the young people on a Valentine’s Day date about to get fleeced......
