I would of given 5 stars, but if you are going to be fine dining the vegetables should be all fresh not mixed in with frozen, mashed where good but instant. We will be back.

It was a Birthday celebration which I mentioned in reservation. We made my husband wear a Birthday banner and only the person at the next table wished him a Happy Birthday. Was not looking for anything special but thought at least the waitress might have said something. The main restaurant was not very busy and have been many other places with alot more to offer for the prices. Would not be rushing to go back. The food was good so no complaints there. Seems like the bar area is more appealing for food as that area was crowded.

Always a great meal at Oyster Bay. Service was attentive but not obtrusive. We had duck, veal, lamb and chicken...all wonderful. And the oysters was good as well.

Great food and great service. The crab soup was tasty, homemade, and had big chunks of crabmeat. The grouper special was excellent, as always - perfectly cooked and tender. Our server was friendly and attentive

Meal and service was very good. The meals were reasonably priced as well as the drinks. Good night for the two of us. I also liked how quiet it was, of course it is winter, so the place was not crowded.

NY Strip with a bourbon glaze and shrimp was excellent... cooked MR with red potatoes and veggies... really great meal... our server was Avery and she took care of everything quickly, efficiently without intervening in our meal.

This restaurant is always fabulous and a favorite of ours. The food is fresh and delicious. On this visit I had the spinach and brie salad, my favorite and the seafood potpie for my entree. The shrimp and scallops were large and tender. The pastry crust was light and tasty. My pineapple mojito was also yummy. My husband had the fried calamari for his appetizer. It was excellent. His entree was a seafood jambalaya. He enjoyed it very much. A wonderful restaurant to celebrate a special occasion. Our waiter, Steve, was very friendly and attentive. We always love seeing and chatting with Gerry, the hostess.

Absolutely loved everything about Oyster Bay. Great restaurant for a special occasion. Loved the food and ambiance. The service was outstanding. The Oysters were delicious. The clams with linguine was unique in that there was spinach and peppers in the sauce which was absolutely amazing. The cocktails were good too.

I saw so many good reviews, I had high expectations. Locals told us this was a great choice too. But in reality, I was so disappointed in the food. The $30 Scallops were tasteless, and so hot ( probably microwaved) I couldn’t even eat them for quite some time and didn’t even finish them. My friend said the same about the sauce for her shellfish. And the creme brûlée was huge, looked great, but not very good either… we just ate the topping. Best part was my Blue Hawaiian cocktail. And, we also liked the venue/ setting.

It was my husband’s birthday. We were in Cape May for our anniversary, as well. He likes Cajun cooking, so the jambalaya was a great choice and it was excellent. And the service was very good. We will go back again.

My wife ordered the house special Salmon dinner and asked for it to be prepared medium rare. When her meal was served. The Salmon was well done. We would have returned it but did not want to wait for a new dish to prepared. It's unfortunate but many restaurants overcook fish. My meal was excellent and was the seafood stew served in a tomato and broth sauce over linguine.

We selected Oyster Bay based on reviews on other sites. We were seated promptly, and our waitress was very pleasant. The inside was nicely done. The food did not live up to the reviews. The food was hot so that’s a plus. The crab cakes were a nice size but were a soft blend and still “gooey” in the center. No pieces of lump crab within the cake. The scallops were a nice portion and looked like they had been nicely browned. Unfortunately, they were served in a watery butter sauce. Both dishes lacked seasoning. The vegetables were steamed without seasoning and mildly undercooked. The zucchini was still hard. Parking is extremely limited in their lot so be prepared to look for street parking. We spent approximately $110 for 2 drinks and 2 entrees that were unremarkable. There is potential but it didn’t happen on our night.

I took neighbors of mine out for a nice dinner to thank them for their help completing a project at my house. Oyster Bay has never disappointed us. Food is always consistent, they have a nice selection for everyone and our waitress was tentative and friendly.
