About
This is such a unique place and always fun to go to. Besides the excellent restaurant, you can browse books, just have coffee or tea, look at unusual gifts, or visit the champagne bar. Before or after eating there is plenty to do. they also serve high tea some afternoons. It can be noisy in the restaurant if it is full but that makes it energetic!
Berry French Toast with the Cappucino is my go-to. Always outstanding food and service.
We had brunch here for my friends birthday and it was DELICIOUS. Oxford is such a a cool place and I can’t wait to go back!
My family and I enjoyed our dining experience at Oxford Exchange. The atmosphere was great, food was excellent as was the service.
It was ridiculously loud - guests were actually ‘Hooting’ and ‘Hollering’. Insane - we asked to move and were refused despite empty tables across the dining room. They were reserved. Mind you I too had a reservation.
I’ve eaten here 4 times without an issue, but this time we didn’t stay. The noise was unbearable. No one apologized as we exited. No effort to make an accommodation.
Great place to have lunch in Tampa. Food and service was good but what really makes this place special is the ambiance :)
Loved the place. Food was not as great as I expected. French roasts were tough.
Always consistent ...
Chad was awesome, food came quickly and correctly. Great vibe. We will definitely be back :)
The food is excellent. Service seems a bit slow especially when ordering alcoholic beverages. Food was also slow coming out, but that mist be the price you pay for excellent fare. The ambiance, especially the garden room is outstanding.
Fabulous place
The restaurant seemed a little loud from the outside, but the actual seated experience was intimate enough for a business meeting.
Wonderful place to have a late lunch! Food was great, peach Bellini outstanding!
Food was delicious. Service was great. Great atmosphere.
GREAT PLACE, EUROPEAN atmosphere, FRESH FOOD, TASTY TEA
Our server was wonderful and the food was amazing.
OE is the cutest spot!!! They have a coffee bar and plenty of seating to lounge or work!! We grabbed drinks at the champagne bar before we sat down! They have so many unique drinks!! They were all topped with a garnish and flowers were added to other drinks!! The food was good and the atmosphere is adorable!
I was so happy we chose OE as our brunch destination on Sunday! Our service was great and the food was delightful. Everything from the ambience to service was absolutely phenomenal. OE is a gem in Tampa. We will definitely return!
I took my boyfriend there for the first time. I was super excited to take him because I usually love Oxford Exchange, especially for brunch. I was very disappointed. The service was terrible - the waitress did not check on us often, did not fill up our empty drinks even after we asked, and actually argued with me about whether or not I should get lemon ricotta on my pancakes. Needless to say, my boyfriend was not impressed at all because of the poor service.
it was a nice experience, but as a little to loud in the garden section
Fantastic atmosphere
Always a GREAT EXPERIENCE AT THE OX SPECIAL PLACE TO TAKE FRIENDS
We always enjoy Oxford Exchange. Great atmosphere, great menu, great staff, and great location. Make reservations in advance or you are most likely not getting a seat.
The chopped salad with dates was outrageously good!
I took my mom and aunt here for their afternoon tea on Sunday. It was wonderful, better than I remembered! We sat in the sunny, beautiful atrium and enjoyed some delicious tea and small sandwiches and desserts. Every single offering was delicious. The waiters were attentive, but not overbearing. It was so enjoyable and perfect for an afternoon to catch up or a celebration of something special. I'll definitely be going back soon!
Afternoon tea was amazing! Savory and sweet bites were delicious. The tea menu is unmatched! Excellent service and great atmosphere
As always GREAT!
Love this place! Great ambiance! Food was delicious and love the champagne bar!
Our server was amazing!! Attentive, friendly, and accommodating. We had a fantastic time and will be back again.
Best brunch ever!!! Loved it
Great place for brunch and lunch. Love the ambience. Lots of vegetarian options as well.
Afternoon Tea for special occasion with 90 year old mother and relatives visiting from NY. The website and online presence of OE gave me high expectations. It missed the bar on a couple of fronts. One being noise. There are many noise mitigation options restaurants can employ, from simple fabric panels/banners hanging from the ceiling, to more costly options like wall baffles. Guests should be able to converse without shouting, it's important. The second issue involved the food options. It was too heavy on the sweets. More savory/ protein items should be included with the tea --- mini quiche, chicken salad, egg salad, prosciutto & cheese. More than one scone flavor would elevate it as well. If you want to put yourselves out there as 'high end' - these improvements would go a long way. Find a better vendor for your store tenants. The prices are just silly, most customers around me were quietly laughing at the price tags. $200 for a throw pillow. $30 for a bar of soap. $50 for a bracelet made of string. It's a gorgeous location, but there is room for improvement.
Nice! Good food, service, and atmosphere
Our waiter was Chase (or Chad?) and he was amazing. Gave us recommendations on the menu and the area. Drove 3 1/2 to make it to OE— one of my favorite places!!
We really enjoyed our brunch to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Samantha took great care of us and was very helpful on menu choices to avoid carbs. It was wonderful!
It’s an interesting place but much too noisy to have a decent conversation. The food is a bit mediocre. I think it used to be better the first years it was open. My chicken burger tasted a bit like hard chicken “spam” and the coleslaw with it was tasteless. I think they need to revisit the menu. Smaller is better in terms of helpings.
Always a great brunch! This time we got a bottle of champagne and a glass of orange juice for DIY mimosas 👍🏻🎉
Okay, fun for the experience. I won’t go back anytime soon. Felt a little uncomfortable that I wasn’t over the age of 45 and a white lady celebrating a bachelorette party or wearing a bralette and casually drinking a coffee. Just meeting a family friend and thought it was so nice not be hurried out or pressured for time I just didn’t love the ambience. I had more fun at Armature works for a meet and cheese plate afterwards.
Always a good idea to bring coffee & tea before the meal arrives, but we understand it was a busy morning. My experience has always been excellent here, but we were a little annoyed to get coffee delivered, the cream a full 10 minutes later, about the same time as the food. Service was very good, but the lady who delivered the coffee was quite rude when we asked about cream. She was not our server, perhaps a barista? We ordered the french press, which was delicious.
I have visited the 'Oxford' several times. This weekend I took a very good friend so she could enjoy all that the 'Oxford' has to offer, she was beside herself ! Ambiance, food, Mimosa and just the whole atmosphere of this GREAT restaurant.
