Two of us ordered the chicken Paillard. Cut as thin as it was, there would seem to be no way it could be tender, and it wasn't. In fact it was so tough you could hardly eat it. The dressing on the salad was delicious, though. Way too much arugula, but that may be picky of me. It took almost 30 minutes to receive our food, and my guest had to ask twice for some extra mayonaise.
Still, a beautiful, special restaurant.
Food was great. But company was better
First visit —it was great for my business lunch. Service was fantastic and I loved she was knowledgeable able the menu and tea options. Will definitely return!
5 of us went for breakfast for my daughter's 13th birthday. The food and waiter was fabulous. Gorgeous restaurant. It was my daughter and her friends first time ever going.
The only complaint- as we were leaving my daughter and her 3 friends were taking pics in the book store and the woman working the register was rolling her eyes at us and huffing and puffing the entire time. She made it very obvious. We still intended on doing some shopping after the pictures but we left in a hurry bc she informed me that we were "bothering her". I was shocked. The girls were not bothering anyone. They were not being disrespectful, loud, obnoxious, or rude- they were having fun. I was so disappointed and embarrassed. My daughter was so upset.
Lovely place for lunch! Browse the shops—they’re a bit pricey but lots of fun to look around. We had salads ($17) which were delicious and generous.
Took my sister to lunch she had never been. Food was great as usual. We got there a little earlier than our reservation and the host was able to seat us right away.
I brought my grandparents here and they loved it! Definitely a great place to hang out and eat with family.
This experience at Oxford exchange was very amazing and definitely would go back again the The food was really good and the coffee was excellent! It was definitely a different place but would recommend whoever hasn’t been here before would definitely go the scenery is very nice as well
Good service and superb food. We were there for Sunday brunch. The only thing negative is the noise level is too high. Fun afternoon !
Friend in town
Our server Kevin was wonderful .
The Oxford Exchange restaurant is always a treat
High quality food and service plus wonderful French bistro atmosphere
Every time we go to OE, we have an excellent experience! This place is amazing ! The waiters /waitresses we had — Samantha , Nick, Vinny to name a few have been incredible!
OE is our #1 restaurant!!
Oxford Exchange is such a unique and fun place to go. It would be so much better if it weren't so noisy - you can hardly talk to the person at the table with you.
Went for a spur of the moment Brunch. Was able to get a reservation but Had to wait about 15 mins for our table. Food was amazing as always. Had the club sandwich. It’s huge and lots of fresh turkey. Sweet potatoe fries are best I’ve ever had. Splurged in the chocolate chip pancakes. Never had a bad meal. It does get loud
Went for the second time, and it was as I remembered it. The food was very good...fried brussels sprouts with shredded ricotta salata was outstanding, and the cuban was delicious. The server, Kevin, was also outstanding. Very friendly, and very accommodating. The worst part of my experience was a) parking and b) the noise level. It was almost unbearable at times, making it difficult to carry on a conversation, even focus long enough to read the menu!
I appreciate the food, and I really appreciate the service. If they could get the parking situation under control (it took 15 minutes just to find a place to park, and I paid $10 for the privilege!) and get the noise level down, it would be so much better!
Kurtis was amazing as always! He’s so intelligent and has such a great attitude.
Super beautiful, fun, and delicious!
I do Not recommend it for a meal where you want to talk - acoustics are terrible.
We had an excellent lunch and it provided a nice getaway from our conference with room for good conversation and food was somewhat unusual and delicious.
Love this place. Food was excellent and the service too. Definitely will be going back.
Great service and delicious food!
What an adorable place!! We loved the Oxford Exchange and totally recommend it!! Our waitress was not overly nice, but my mom and I still had a lovely brunch together at an adorable spot :)
Very expensive for what I got. Chopped salad— mostly arugula. Dry little chicken and other toppings. Upscale and unique dining but to over priced. Won’t go back
Food was great as always but service was poor. Server didn’t seem to care about good quality service and didn’t check on us often. She also forgot one item we ordered but I was so frustrated with the service I didn’t bother to request it since we had already finished the rest of our food.
Reservation taken in time; unique environment; very interesting menu; excellent waiter; reasonable prices.
Hard to achieve four-stars across the board, thus the 5 stars overall. Part of the comfort is in sitting in the wing-backs on the window - get there early.
Walking thru the main dining room the noise level was so loud I considered it unbearable-I would have left had I been seated there. No way could anyone have a conversation of any kind. I had requested the Conservatory seating where the noise level was moderated somewhat.-not that it was quiet. I expect a restaurant such as Oxford Exchange to have people eating there to have lively conversations and not be "quiet".
Great atmosphere, friendly employees, delicious food. Only downside is parking, it took 30 minutes just to find something, even with directions from the website.
Good food and nice ambiance. Very rude and condescending waitress that we only saw when she took the orders and a long while after when we tried to tell her done orders were wrong. Her response was angry and disrespectful and blamed the mistake on us. The restaurant was not busy at all and there was nothing to justify her absence and her rudeness. After the order was corrected she never apologized for the inconvenience nor came back to make sure everything was ok. The restaurant manager was made aware of this fiasco.
This place just oozes class!!!
Loved it went there for Tea then for my daughter's birthday now I am going to meet up with my sister and catch up
We had a fantastic brunch trying several small plates before having a salad and an omelet. Truly a great place for brunch in Tampa!
Curtis may be one of the best servers in the business. Friendly and knowledgeable he made our experience memorable.
I would highly recommend this gem!!!
Amazing for brunch.....busy, happy, delightful.....and great food!
Was great! Best eggs bene my wife has ever had and I really enjoyed the nitro coffee! Will be back for tea!
Wonderful food, service & atmosphere. One of my very favorite places in Tampa Bay!
Celebrating a friends birthday with brunch
Love the atmosphere, a little loud though in the atrium.
Enjoyed this restaurant for my wife's birthday, The food was delicious though I would have preferred more choices. It had an eclectic feel. It was very loud but that was expected. The garden seating was quite pretty and we would have liked to have known that was a choice since it was our first time there. Overall though, we had a great time.
My most recent visit to the Oxford Exchange was for a mother-daughter lunch. This venue is amazingly beautiful. Every detail of the building has been thoughtfully and beautifully curated. The food is fresh, delicious, and always well presented. My first trip here was spent having Afternoon Tea with some of the most influential women in my life. Such a wonderful place to sit and catch up with your loved ones. While always busy, definitely recommend making a reservation, you are never rushed through your meal. Make sure to spend some time browsing through the shops at the front and back of the building. They always have fun and unique items for sale. If you have already, I would move this to the top of your to-do list!
