Oxford Exchange Ratings and Reviews
I always enjoyed going to Oxford Exchange but i am not sure if i will go back. The situation with finding parking to this place got very ridiculous. So you either find parking on the street ( which is almost impossible) OR the you park in the church parking lot with costs 10$!!!! Not $1 but 10$!!!!! The restaurant teamed up with the church to let the restaurant guests park there for a small “ donation” of 10$!!!!!. I’ve never experienced such an inconvenience parking situation. Not sure if i want to go to the restaurant to spend money where in order fore to go there i need ro pay $10 to park. RIDICULOUS!
This was my third visit, my client’s first and everything was great as always. Love the ambiance; wish there were more parking options. It was unfortunate OE thought I didn’t keep our reservation, prompting an email from Open Table. But we did arrive as scheduled and were there for two hours. I will be back, but will just make sure my arrival is properly recorded.
The atmosphere was unique. I wish we’d had more time to explore the bookstore and try coffee shop. Our table was comfortable and our server, Kevin was friendly and helpful. He made great recommendations and provided prompt service. I had the chicken burger with OE coleslaw. The burger was flavorful and moist. Their version of coleslaw is different than anywhere else I’ve had it. I’m not a coleslaw fan, but theirs is the exception. My husband had the Cuban sandwich. It was prepared perfectly. The sweet potato fries were seasoned well. Everything was delivered to our table at the right temperature. We were very pleased with the experience!
Great food and great service as always. Be sure to make a reservation as the walk in wait is always over 90 minutes. Go early or plan to stay after lunch in order to spend some time in the book store and gift shop. This place has a wonderful vibe and the food is fresh and delicious.
Ask to be in the solarium great setting feels a bit as if you were in Paris.
The food was good and the service is usually great. This time it was pretty subpar. It took forever to find our waiter and get his attention for things. He was short with us while ordering. I wasn't impressed. I usually have great service here. I'll be back though! Maybe he was having an off day.
Great spot! We were seated right away and the host had done a great job fitting us in the garden area which was BEAUTIFUL! Ordered the Fish Tacos and Benedict, both which were great. Finished up with tea (Moroccan Mint and a London Fog). Overall great place. Will definitely recommend to anyone in the Tampa area.
We went in for brunch on a busy Saturday but because we had our reservation we were seated immediately! Our food came out fast, hot and really delicious. The portions are quite big and the price is actually right for the amount given in my opinion. The outside seating area can get loud so if you’re looking for a place to talk I recommend getting a table inside. Our service was a bit slow but I can understand due to the amount of people there. Overall I’d go back again.
