We had a lovely meal and excellent service. Great value for the price. My only recommendation would be to improve the ambience in the main dining area. It is very cold and generic.
We went to Out of the Fire on a Friday afternoon for a friend’s 60th birthday celebration. Loved the ambience especially the original oil pastel artwork and the lounge seating area by the bar. The curtain at the front reception area is a great (and thoughtful) idea functions by as an awesome wind block in chilly weather. The food was delicious. We enjoyed both the Bianca and margarita pizza as well as the Thai green curry turkey burger that came with an awesome chutney. A terrific spot for a great lunch with truly special friends.

The food and service at Out of the Fire is always good and creative. The atmosphere is also warm and inviting. The owner, Amy, is very nice and moves around the dining room.

This tine we tried the Brussels sprouts and cauliflower appetizers, both very tasty.
Greeted and seated immediately. Attentive wait staff to take our beverage order and share specials. Enjoyed one of the featured wood grilled pizzas and Caesar salad. Excellent portion size and food quality. Nice wine selection as well. We loved it and will return.

We were celebrating a birthday & anniversary with friends. We all commented how much we enjoyed the dinner. Not our first visit, but for some reason the scallops and mussels hit the spot.
The chocolate mousse dessert was delish along with the pistachio cake.
Let’s not forget the sangria too!
Out of the Fire is one of the best restaurants on the eastern shore. Amy Haines, owner and host holds court every night greeting her guests and visiting tables throughout the evening. It is an unfussy, warm, inviting Restaurant with great food. The chef is very creative and the ingredients are always fresh and well sourced from local farms. There is an ever changing display of artwork on the walls. Last night my husband had lamb pappardelle that was delicious. The pasta tasted home made and sauce was terrific. I had trout with a delicious cabbage bacon sauté . One of our guests had an interesting curry. It was a delicious and delightful evening!
