Fabulous food and service. We got to sit at the open kitchen counter. Highly recommend it!! I had the special butternut squash soup. Amazing as their soups always are. Also had the maitake mushroom pizza. Sooo good. And had the seared scallops - melted in your mouth and had a great sear. Also had the mussels. Took home half the pizza.
The food and service was good but the main dining area is not cozy and the chairs are a bit uncomfortable. We were seated near the door and it was cold. Nice artwork however.
The food is wonderfully flavorful, the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and responsive to diners’ requests and the atmosphere is lively. We love to go there!
Delicious food, and great service - a very subtle location in between shopping stores in downtown Easton, so a lucky find through OpenTable. Would definitely recommend, and come back to visit again!
Good food and good service, and very clean bathroom!
Nice restaurant in downtown Easton. Our food was good, but slow (not a place to go for a quick meal). Side for sandwich was insubstantial (maybe 5 pieces of lettuce). Wait staff was very friendly. Overall I’d give 3/5 stars.
Inventive farm to table food. Perfectly curated wines of value. Warm friendly ambience.
I was dining alone and sat at the counter overlooking the cook stations. Food was delicious plus I got to observe the dedication of the chefs to the food they serve. Food, cocktail and wine were excellent. The restaurant was very busy, but the service was attentive and personal.
My wife and I went for a pre-Valentines dinner since I had to work on Valentines Day. From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, you felt welcomed and everyone was nice and friendly. The meal was awesome and the gluten free pizza was a pleasant surprise. Awesome job!
Always a great experience. Thanks!
The vibe was cozy and inviting from the moment we arrived. Tables were full to capacity. We opted for pizza, salad and wine by the glass. I am happy about the wines we tried, but less satisfied with the pizza. Our choice was overly salty with sausage, olives, feta cheese and a fire roasted tomato base. The crust was nothing spectacular. The caesar salad was pretty good and I am happy that anchovies were an option. Our server started off on the ball but soon forgot to bring us the foccacia bread that is complimentary and we had to remind him about it. Also, the anchovies for the caesar salad were missing and we had to bring to his attention. Wine refills were not made and we had to ask.
Fabulous meal, wonderful unique flavors!
As always, a great meal, awesome food!!! Good service, friendly and warm.
Fabulous as always
The ultimate farm to table dining experience. Dedicated ethic to give back and give 100% in the creation of food. Never a disappointment in 5 years.
Out of the Fire continues to be a favorite. A cozy place with wonderful food and terrific food. It is the perfect place to meet and old friend for lunch, or linger over dessert and coffee.
Always great food and service.
This restaurant is our go-to spot in Easton. The food is always outstanding and the front of house and service staff are consistently friendly and accommodating for families. Highly recommend if you’re looking for excellent food, good wine list, and a welcoming environment.
The food, as always, was excellent. Good value for the price, along with outstanding service.
Very unusual for Out of the Fire but waited over 50 minutes for lunch (chicken tacos). The tacos were mushy and not very good after all that wait. Our waitress seemed new but she did not offer any explanation until we flagged her down and asked about our food. They did comp one of the meals but overall not a good experience. We will go back because the food is usually very good but this was a very bad no good day!
Delicious trout. Always come here for lunch with friends. I particularly appreciate the concerns for the environment & the sustainability of the fish, such as the trout I had for lunch. And I am always fascinated by the changing works of art.
Great local restaurant with good food and quiet atmosphere. Will visit again in the near future.
My husband and I had a most enjoyable dining experience. It was our first visit to Out of the Fire. I reserved a table through open table. We were celebrating my birthday. Our waiter Matt was very attentive and helpful. Everything about dinner was delicious and the presentations were pleasing. As we left Out of the Fire we had a delightful conversation with the owner and her husband. We will be back!
Fabulous farm to table restaurant in the heart of Easton. Beloved by locals and visitors. Local everything. Quality and interest cannot be matched.
It’s a good thing that I relied on the Open Table reviews, as they led me to Out of the Fire, in Easton, MD on Thursday night. I definite go to place if you’re in the area. I only tried the butternut squash appetizer and the mussels but both were simply excellent. The homemade focaccia bread melted in my mouth too. I rarely eat bread that is served but theirs was so good that I ate it all. If I return to Easton, I will definitely be back. A great dinner overall. Thank you.
Fabulous meal and service. The grilled squid is to die for! It’s perfectly wood fired every time. The smells from the wood fire stove and open kitchen are so enticing the entire time you are dining. The wine list and hand crafted cocktails are divine.
Love this place!!!!!!
Best meal -ALWAYS. Amy, the owner is always welcoming and helpful with wine choices. Chris, the chef is friendly, creative, and approachable. This is the NEST place to eat in Easton .
Out of the Fire is a treat at anytime, but an especially nice and delicious way to catch up with old friends over the holidays.
Incredible menu choices, always creative and innovative; vegan staff very knowledgeable regarding ingredients and preparations....a sure bet every time!
You hit the ball out of the park with your brussel sprout, shiitake mushroom small plate! The Maitake mushroom pizza is always one of my favorites too!
This is one of the best restaurants ever!!
My go-to place in Easton
we were 1/2 hour early for our reservation, but the readily accommodated us. the wait staff was attentive, but he did miss my soup. he brought our main dishes, but had forgotten the soup. the restaurant was not busy, so I'm not sure why. anyhow, the food we got was more than enough, and very good. we will return again.
Excellent meal as always. Owner and staff are attentive and very knowledgeable on all menu choices and wines. Menu and wine list is excellent. The food is always freshly prepared and hot and attractive. Last night I had a salad and the green pork curry. Kicked it up a notch. Excellent. We have had the pleasure of eating here dozens of times. It is one of the town’s finest restaurants and just as importantly consistent. The menu changes but the excellent presentation and preparation are always there. Also try the pizzas, best in town in my opinion. Easton has a lot of very good restaurants but Out of the Fire is ALWAYS a treat.
Another great dinner. Love the trout and the flatbread pizza was delicious, you can never go wrong here.
Out of the Fire is our "go to" place for a casual dinner. Service is great. Win and menu are varied and dependably good. We'd recommend it to everyone.
In a town full of great restaurants, Out of the Fire always stands out. Awesome meal as always.
Great food and vibe here! Always a great meal!
