We have gone to Otto's several times, and we really enjoy their German menu. Dining outside in their beer garden is very nice.

On this particular occasion, the pork loin was rather overcooked and dry. Sausages and saurbraten and goulash were great. They also seemed to be a lot busier than usual, and the portions seemed just a bit smaller than we have had in the past.

On this particular Saturday night, they had a lounge singer with a bright blue blazer in the beer garden singing Sinatra tunes. It felt like we were in a 1970s episode of the Love Boat. Me and the rest of my party are in our 50s, and we felt like children in the restaurant given the age of the other patrons. We still had fun - the singer could carry a tune and the entire experience was enjoyable in a campy way, but it's worth knowing in advance what you're in for.

Service was great. Our waiter was attentive and explained the beer selection and food to us. Food was outstanding from the sausage platter to the prime rib. If you want a taste and I mean a BIG taste of German food, Otto's is your place.

Everything tasted great. One person did not care for potato pancakes. Weinerschnitzl was good but grissley in spots. We would definitely come back again.

Service was good. Very disappointed with the spaetzel--too pasty. The weiner schnitzel could have used a sauce. Beer was excellent. So was the soup.

The waiter was very personable and good. The food was very tasty but we had very cold beans and the potatoes were also lukewarm, not hot. We all enjoyed our meals except for the temperature of the food.

We had a nice dinner (sandwiches / salad) at Otto's. Our server was friendly the food was good. We sat on the patio which is nice and they have live music. I thought the floor could have used a sweeping not a big deal just something I noticed. My Husband drank lemonade most places there are free refills not the case here.

We went on a Sunday evening and enjoyed the fabulous buffet. So many different kinds of meat and a lot of choices for vegetables such as pickled beets, several kinds of potato salad and cabbage, both hot and cold. The food was flavorful without being overly spicy. The service was friendly. Prices were reasonable.

Awesome down-to-earth, blue collar German food. Food is always tasty, very generous portions, and the Sunday buffet is awesome. Highly recommend breakfast. Decor is outdated but has an old school feel. Decent eastern European beer selection. Prices are very reasonable.

Large servings, entrees came quicky... We were still working on salads. A bit slow getting the bill, but otherwise service very good. Live music was very good but loud in that room, but next room back was better for volume. Will go back!

Valentine's day 2017. Although we go there for German food, tonight we each had a steak. Very tender and done just right. The side dishes were great but left no room for dessert. Only draw back was the bread- a strangr type of biscuit that had no taste..

We went for my birthday and it was very mediocre. I had the sauerbraten which was basically beef with a sauerbraten sauce on top. The spatel was clumped together. Not like grandmom use to make. We weren't told about the early birds nor did I see it on the menu. I over heard some people ask about it after we ordered.Don't plan on going again.

Came here for an early dinner on my Birthday (New Year's Eve). Moderate crowd, started filling up after we were seated. I love the sauerbraten and desserts here. The Black Forest Cake and German Chocolate cakes are especially good. Good beer list and food is authentic. A great option if you enjoy German cuisine.

Having grown up with authentic German food, I was looking forward to the Sauerbraten - which I haven't had for many years. Keep in mind that a traditional Sauerbraten requires that the roast be marinated for several days (in a special marinade that includes red wine and vinegar) to infuse the tartness of the vinegar and the flavors from the red wine and other ingredients. This step is what gives the roast its wonderfully subtle blend of flavors and tartness.

If the roast at Otto's was indeed marinated as stated on the menu, I couldn't taste it. The slices of roast tasted essentially unseasoned (and overcooked), and overwhelmed by a sour gravy that covered the meat - not subtle, but exceedingly sour. In fact, I could not finish the dish.

My wife had the Neuschwanstein (beef tenderloins in a mushroom and red wine sauce). I tried it and it was OK but not worthy of $19.99.

In fairness, perhaps the other dishes on their extensive menu are quite good, but for me, and maybe unrealistic expectations, it was a great disappointment.

We found your restaurant to be very pleasing, quaint, quiet and very nice inside. Drinks were very good. Stuffed mushrooms for appetizer was good. I had crab cakes with 2 sides and my lady had the prime rib with horseradish sauce. We both thought the sides delicious. My crab cakes were good. However, her prime rib was well done and she asked for medium and she had trouble getting the knife through. With that exception, our first experience in your restaurant was a pleasant one.

The restaurant is old. The decor could be up dated. GERMAN food is specialty. It plentiful and good. The prices are reasonable. Good for group or Just two people. Casual wear is ok.
Bathroom could be updated.
Only problem was reservation .Open table said no reservations for 6:30.so we went earlier . There were two couples in the whole place. They have 3 rooms. They did not even fill 1 room. Someone was way off reservations

From first to worst...NOT wurst!

We were there last evening with friends. We heard it was going downhill but thought we would give them one last try.

Our reservation was for 6:30 and we arrived a tiny bit early. There was virtually no one in the bar area....not a good sign for a Saturday night. There was Literally no one in the eating area...oops!

As usual I inspect the bar for bourbon and scotch so I can tell the wait staff what I want.

We found our friends in a sea of empty tables.

My friend ordered a sweet old fashion and asked me what kind of bourbon he should get. I said, "Blantons". I knew it was on the shelf. What came was an old fashioned made with peated scotch...YIKES!. My wife asked for a dark beer, being very specific and what came was a light beer. I asked for a particular scotch, up in a rocks glass. What came was a snifter of scotch with a rocks glass full of ice on the side. It took a bit but we finally got all of that straightened out.

OK...on to the meal. The appetizers were anything but. and the meals themselves were nothing short of awful. My wife's Wurst tasted like a bad hot dog. I ordered the Penne pasta which was a really bad version of Mac and Cheese.

So I"m not sure what makes Greek diner owners think they can purchase a traditional German Restaurant and make a go of it...but they didn't in this case.

Through the meal, the place never sat many people...I guess the regular patrons we were used to found out what we did...only sooner.

So for us at least, no more Otto's.

We were excited to attend after a college graduation. Food was cold and looked like it had been sitting around a LONG time. Meat was borderline inedible. Service took forever. Atmosphere was good (old German style), however surrounding decor was filthy and mouse traps were in plain sight of customers. Very Very disappointed. It was a lot of money to spend for a horrible meal.

We decided to try Otto's after enjoying the food and beer on a trip to Germany last year. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The food/service was more like a diner than a restaurant. The German Beer and wine selections were not very big.
The Wienerschnitzel was very good, but the gravy on the spaetzle tasted like Heinz turkey gravy. We also ordered the potato pancake as a starter. It came with a small plastic cup of applesauce and a small sealed take out type container of sour cream. Both were the size of those little white paper cups that you use for catsup and mustard at fast food restaurants.
We also had sides of Cole slaw, cucumber salad and sauerkraut... Nothing to write home about...
The outside dining area was nice, with several TVs showing various sports.
