Amazing seafood in the middle of the desert, and the New York strip was delicious.
Date night between us without kids. It was perfect
Wonderful staff and even better food. Highly recommended, and I can’t wait to go back again!
This was our second time to dine at this restaurant. We brought our out of town guests so they may have a great dining experience while visiting. We had ceviche, Japanese fried chicken, oysters, poke, sashimi and lobster-crab shepherd’s pie. Everything was very good! My favorite is the ceviche and ordered that twice.
Food was to die for and I can’t wait to go again. So good!!!!
The raw oysters, tuna and ceviche were amazing... the prepared (cooked) dishes were alright.
Every dish at Other Mama was delicious. The oysters and all raw bar items we tried were top notch. Also, dont miss the grilled octopus and sea bass. And the drinks.... the drinks were awesome! Try the Svetlana for sure - house horseradush infused vodka, becherovka, ginger syrup and lemon juice - perhaps the best coctail we have ever had. Also the perfect match for the Japanese inspired, largely seafood, menu.... Enjoy!
Best octopus I have ever had. So tender!!!
Very unique menu with something for everyone. Great value on Sunday & Monday for 1/2 price oysters and wine. Certainly worth the short drive away from the strip for a great evening out.
Love it here... My brother in law visited from the East coast 6 months ago and I took him here. He returned recently with my sister and nephew and asked to go back to Other Mama, even though it is way off the strip where they were staying. High praise!!!
Great food and service as always!
Always solid neighborhood spot!
We had oysters, sashimi, Kobe beef, kimchi fried rice and they were all outstanding. The sodas were also stellar! Ordered a side of rice, that was meh...we are used to sushi rice after years in japan.
This is my second time at Other Mama in a month and neither one of the two visits impressed me. It is a nice ambiance restaurant in a nondescript strip mall so it feels like an oasis when you walk in. First time both food and service disappoint. This time service was better but food remained disappointing. We tried their Sunday $1 oyster, and they were small and excessively salty. We also tried their blue fin tuna and amberjack sashimi which were quite good. Their tempura mushrooms were also good. But the agedashi tofu and chicken karaage were both disappointing - tofu's batter was too thick and chewy; karaage's batter was too thick and too much. There is so much potential in this neighborhood restaurant that I hope to see them improve.
This is horrible to say, but it was amazing and I don't want to tell a bunch of people because we don't be able to find a seat. Food was better than on the Strip, craft cocktails were INSANE!! We will definitely be going back.
Article in Thrillist or maybe Eater for Vegas.
At first I thought the menu was too eclectic for me, but everything we ordered was awesome! Great food and service with a casual, and comfortable atmosphere.
Always a great experience!
We decided to leave the strip for a meal & were so glad we did. This is one of the best restaurants we have been to. Doesn't look like much & located in a strip shopping mall, but the food was fabulous. We took a cab there and uber back. Uber by far the best choice for leaving the strip. Our waitress was fantastic and the house made cocktails were outstanding. A must in Vegas for us!
