Oswego Grill - Wilsonville
Always a great staff and good food. They appreciate their customers and it shows!
Saturday night. 5:30 pm. Busy. We show up with a reservation for seven - 4 adults and 3 children under the age of 8. Reaction from greeter and Jake our waitperson - good evening and welcome to Oswego Grill. Smaller and younger guests but still guests. Service was attentive and focused on making our entire party feel at ease. Special orders for the kids were handled graciously. Appreciated paper cups with lids and straws for their chocolate milk order. The celebratory dinner after attending the Oregon Ballet Theatre The Nutcracker was the perfect end of a wonderful day. Thank you Greeter, kitchen staff, Mr. Jake, our waitperson, and thank you Oswego Grill Wilsonville.
Our meals were great and our server, Spring was excellent.
Great food! Excellent desserts!
First experience was wonderful but multiple visits since have not been as enjoyable. It’s noisy for a business dinner. The portions of the scallop dish I had was small and the entire dish one note.
Turn up the lights a bit. It take a flashlight to see the menu.
Delicious, perfectly cooked calamari, followed by scrumptious parmisan crusted sole, served with garlic mashed potatoes and roasted asparagus. Friendly, cheerful wait staff.
Food was good, atmosphere was nice but service incredibly slow.
I met an old friend there unsure of the food or the ambience. It was 5 stars in every way and we decided to return over and over. The staff were particularly friendly and keen. The menu had great variety and easily accommodated our particular needs. The portions are generous which was good because the food was delicious ,
I'll keep coming back, cause I really want it to be good, go to place. The Calamari appetizer was very nice, but was disappointed at the prime rib sandwich. Very fatty, hard to chew. And for some reason the jus was godawful. Lent a sour note to the sandwich. I can't believe the jus and beef ever met prior to my dunk. Next time I'll try one of their burgers. The service is good, but inexperienced. They all seem to try hard. We'll give them another shot.
The stuffed chicken was very good. However, the pasta was cold and undercooked. The asparagus was also cold. The wait time was high. And the booth we were in was uncomfortable for the five of us. It made conversation a bit difficult. Though it was overall good, I think there are other restaurants that get my attention better.
We didn't know what to expect. It was our birthday celebration and we had wonderful food and surprise dessert and, the most friendly waiter, Stephen, and we thoroughly felt spoiled when we left. Go visit and find out for yourself.
This has been our favorite restaurant for many years! Your workers are lovely so it makes our stay very nice!
I expected more from a popular steakhouse and was pretty disappointed with our visit. We reserved a table weeks in advance and still had to wait to be seated. We also did not have the option of a booth. Our waiter was difficult to understand due to the noise and would often walk away without notice. Two members of our party were served cold burgers. They offered to make new ones without question but did not offer to compensate any of the meal even though it took 80 minutes to get our food after being sat. Dessert sounded good but none of us wanted to wait for it given we had been there for almost 2 hours. Okay food, pretty spendy, bad service. Would not recommend.
The meal was great and our server Amanda was great. The only complaint would be that I had ordered a piece of cheesecake for my wife and I to share for dessert and it took over half an our to arrive at our table. One of the mangers came by and apologized for the wait. The least that they could have done was comp the cheesecake.
It was my wifes birthday and there was no question as to where we would go. We were joined by our daughter and 2 grand kids. Our waiter was attentive without being smothering and as usual the amazing dishes were top notch. The Wilsonville location is a monthly favorite of ours. The manager brought Dianne here dessert and a birthday card signed by the employees.
Their usually top notch food was taken back a step by soggy French fries and a prime rib sandwich that was heavily fat.
They tried to make up for the problem by making us another order to go. I suspect that they were having problems with the chef, but who knows.
Jake is an outstanding wait person. He was extremely attentive and personable. I'm sure he deserves at least a 50% raise.
The food was really good. It was a bit noisy, more because of the customers not the background music. This was our first time, we will be back.
I eat here regularly, as this is a great place to get together with clients. The service is always excellent, very important for me particularly. Food is always good with a changing seasonal menu.
We had a delightful server, Summer. The food is always good and we enjoy eating there
We were not impressed with the sauces or the cabernet wine list.
Good food, very good service
Our waitress Callie provided outstanding service! We really enjoyed having her . Thank you for a great night!
Disappointing. I always expect more when I come here and I realize I’m disappointed more often. I had an ok paella. Would have been better if they included a clam or two. My wife’s salad that was supposed to include some dried fruit, was missing the fruit. Also, it would be nice if they serve the appetizer before the main and not to bring them out together as was done with my house salad and paella. Just wrong.
A friend took me to the Oswego Grill for my birthday dinner. I had a fil-A and I believe he got a ribeye steak. The food was excellent. I told the waitress it was my birthday dinner and a fantastic display of ice cream and bananas and other fruit was beautifully presented and brought to the table. I was very impressed with the restaurant and will go there again.
The food is always good as is the service. Cheryl, Jorge and Timo are all amazing!! We always enjoy our time there with them.
Steak was more cooked than grilled
Hostess forgot to check me in when I arrived, so I waited 20 min before getting seated. Everything else was great
Birthday dinner was great for all guests. Food. Great service. We love Oswego Grill it covers it all
We always have a very pleasant dining experience at Owego Grill in Wilsonville. Our server, Kelsey, was perfectly attentive.
The food and service has been great each time we have been there. One if our favorite spots. We take out if town guest there.
The filet was amazing!
Great service. Ample food. Above average quality.
Celebrating our unborn child announcement with close friends
Had dinner for four at 4:00 pm on a Saturday. Everything was very nice, great service, good ambiance. The food was overpriced with nothing spectacular to justify it. The calamari was under-cooked, the tenderloin tips were hard to chew, the salmon and rice plates looked boring and weak. I hate to be negative with the great service we got, but they need to bump up on quality.
Having a reservation got us seated almost immediately. Food and service as usual were excellent. Very noisy.
What a disappointment. We have been regulars at lake o grill since they opened. Although we have noticed a slight decline in quality and service, last night made us know that we need to find a new local spot for dinner. It was my birthday, we let them know and we asked for a booth away from the kitchen. We also had an early reservation to avoid the crowd. The front door team never greeted us, no big deal and they sat us right away. When the wait staff came by to take our order she let us know that she had a headache. Again, no big deal but a little strange. Not long after we were seated a waiter came and moved the table next to us over to who knows where and was challenged by a manager why he was doing it. He made a lot of noise. It was a bit uncomfortable but still okay. Then the waitress began to provide us the slowwwest service ever. While the long wait for our food kept us hoping someone would come by to refill our drinks or even water, one of the wait staff and a guy I think was the manager began to get into a pretty big argument about another customer right in front of us....for about four minutes. It was embarrassing. Still no food. Our drinks are empty and ....waiting. We asked for a side order of asparagus. We got five small spears and they charged us $6. The prime rib was fair, No one checked back until we stopped the waitress to tell her we needed our check. She came back...she forgot it so we gave her our card and just told her to run the bill. We saw the manager walk by us about 8 times, she never stopped to check on us, she used to every time. The restaurant was half empty when we left. I now think I know why. Thanks for the bad birthday experience lake o grill. We won’t be back.
Wonderful dining experience for a special occasion or just when you want to make any day special.
Best meatloaf outside of my wife’s. A little pricey though. Great service as usual.
