Oswego Grill - Kruse Way
We were celebrating the birthday of a 90 year young woman. Server was exceptional in her service to the birthday celebrant and all three of us were made to feel special.
We always enjoy our experience when we choose to eat at Oswego Grill. My husband loves the steaks, and I can easily adapt the menu to my veganism. The cocktails are delicious. The service allows for a relaxing evening. We often bring friends here and they all share positive feedback. Thank you!
The Ahi Crab roll was wonderful we ordered a second round. My prime rib was blue not med rare and tough. You could tell it was not a prime cut. I get a better ribeye at Costco. The mushrooms were so salty I could not eat them. My wife’s Chicken was too sweet and my teenage son thought his Alfredo was ick. My teenager eats everything usually. Atmosphere was ok but when you go out it doesn’t matter if you have great service or atmosphere if the food sucks. All in all an expensive birthday evening where we all said we should have cooked at home and won’t be going back.
Went for lunch with a good friend. Shared a lovely bottle of rose, and had the Cobb salad with chicken. Delicious! We sat outside and enjoyed the fresh air and quiet atmosphere.
I've been here for dinner, too, had a wonderful meal, but it wasn't quite as quiet as our lunch was. It's a great place to eat for lunch or dinner.
Good menu choices and quality of food was very good. Service almost over attentive—courses came out to fast in succession. We were still finishing our salad when entrees came and we were not close to being ready. Felt like we were being rushed.
This is a great local restaurant with good food and service. Varied menu with a lot of options.
Perfect birthday lunch. Delicious food and attentive service.
This is one of our favorite restaurants - food is always excellent, staff is friendly!
Having a reservation means you are greeted happily and sets the mood for the evening. I was seated immediately by Jessica even though my guests had not yet arrived. Our server was Andrea. She explained the specials and was friendly and attentive. We had a leisurely meal plus dessert.
This has become one of our favorite eating experiences. Just wish they would open up in Vancouver, WA
Wonderful food and great service. Always a great place to visit
Oswego Grill is a great place to eat and enjoy the company you're with. The design of the place controls the noise level so I could easily converse with my lunch companion. Our orders came quite quickly after we placed them and the service we received was excellent too. I would recommend Oswego Grill to anyone who wants to have a nice meal in a nice setting.
This is actually for my called-in reservation for 4:45 p.m., Friday, Aug. 2.
I had requested a table (booth) with Ashley (phone call). I was told, “I think we can make that work.” I actually arrived late—just a few minutes before 5:00 p.m. I was told my reserved table was still being used by diners—and, that they were starting to look at a dessert menu.
I waited. Three walk-in parties were seated before me. Then, me!
As I waited for my order, I noticed that the famous O’Toole table was being held. You held that for 40 minutes. Table squabbling among regulars is silly. However, if there are plenty of other tables outside the requested server’s section, then that should be an option for the guest.
Why did I have to wait? Where, in the system did I make a mistake?
I don’t take you for granted. Please … don’t take me for granted.
When I called in my reservation tonight, and if Ashley’s section was indeed booked until a later time, I should have been told that and given other options. Make sense?
Love Lake Oswego Grill. Have always ad wonderful food and outstanding service!
Good food, priced reasonably (for the quality) and conveniently located not far off of I-5.
Fantastic service, great food and atmosphere. Had a great time.
I thought we were going to be overdressed but we walked in and other people dining were nicely dressed. I would say it was mid fancy, super nice seating and great service. Everything on their specials menu looked good but sadly they were out of a lot of those items. I would recommend a better poke bowl recipe but other than that, the food was tasty.
Food was incredible! The service was awesome too. The creme brûlée was AMAZING
We are visiting and had such a great dinner the first night we returned for dinner the next night. Salmon, prime rib, and the bison burger were all great. Sat on the patio one night, pretty and peaceful.
Birthday dinner. Older people. Children seated nearby who were rather noisy at times, screaming. Other than that everything was very nice. Have my hubby a special dessert which was very nice!
I’m not sure. There were some hiccups during our dinner.
We eat here when we are in the area. Delicious. Steaks, burgers, sandwiches and salads are all excellent. Especially love the New York steak and Brussel Sprout salad.
Food was awesome, they had espresso challenges.
Evening for the most part was great. My only concern is the noise level. As the evening progressed the noise level rose. We ended up going outside to have a conversation.
We always have great food and service here. This time was no exception. We both had salmon and it was delicious. The waitress was very pleasant and helpful. The manager even came by to greet us. A very pleassant experience.
Enjoyed lunch with our financial advisor. Quite and private setting.
This is a favorite of ours. My wife has food concerns and allergies and she has found several safe choices which she enjoys. She will usually have a bison burger with its lean tasty meat with no fillers and they make their own preservative-free fries. She also likes their steaks and seafood items. It gets crowded but they are pros and handle it well. Noise is never overwhelming unless you have hearing issues. We like to bring friends here.
We have dined at this eatery before. Despite the busy pace, we were seated quickly. We were offered and delivered our drinks rapidly. They were both delicious. The special of the menu was shared at our arrival, and the house meatloaf was in a whole new category as meatloaf recipes go. She enjoyed the trout, and commented on it even later in the evening as having exceeded expectations. They have an expansive dessert menu, but given the portion sizes for our entrées, we were fully satiated.
The food is great-I always get the Brussel Sorouts salad. My companions say the fish and other salads are also excellent. The restaurant itself is clean and decorated nicely, but it is dark, even when sitting near a window. I find the waitstaff attentive but not very warm (almost like they are disinterested.)
We really enjoyed our visit. The food was excellent and our server, Ashley T was a real pro. Timed our meal perfectly and knew the finer points of service. We are all life long restaurant people so we appreciate professional service.
We go there a lot to catch up. Everything was good as usual but I had the stuffed chicken and I was surprised by the portion size. It was about half of what it has been in the past but the same price. It was very good but not worth the price if that’s all they are going to give. Too bad.
Always consistent and the value is there. Server Ashley was outstanding!
We had a very good dinner, ribeye, beef tenderloins and Cajun halibut.
Service was top notch. Elliot really took care of us.
We love Oswego Grill and are regular customers. The restaurant is beautiful, the staff are professional and always friendly and helpful, and the food is great. The menu is diverse and reasonably priced. One of our favorite places!
Dining outside at Oswego Grill on a fine summer day with family & friends is a most enjoyable choice. Three of us in a party of four chose “seasonal” items from the lunch menu & all of us were very pleased with our meals.
We were very fortunate to have an early reservation... 4 pm on Sunday, June 30. Shortly after our order was in, they had a water pipe break - no water in the restrooms or kitchen. The servers were quick thinking. They filled up every water pitcher and bucket they could find until the water stopped flowing. Front of house staff quickly made signs to put on the doors apologizing for being closed, and saying why. They also started contacting everybody who had a reservation. How many places would bother? They REALLY do care about their customers, and it shows both in situations like this and just in general the way they handle customers. The few of us that were already there were served, and very gratiously, not like they had more pressing matters (which they obviously did). We were there for a special occasion - our 42nd anniversary. So many people came over to acknowledge our celebration, and to apologize for the situation. We were expecting a typical free dessert because of the occasion, but because of the issues, we each got to pick any dessert we desired from the dessert menu.
This is our second time there, and we WILL be returning. The only negative, which is an unfortunate society thing nowadays, unfortunately, is that one of our dishes, a risotto, contained hot peppers and the menu did not say one word about it being served that way. They graciously refired it without. A lot of people LIKE peppery heat. However, there are a LOT of people who cannot tolerate it. Restaurants used to include a little pepper symbol next to spicy hot items. I don't think it is asking too much to return to this standard.
I love eating here and have been for over 6 years on a pretty routine basis. I bring friends and family here. The only issue for me is the noise level. Best to go for early lunch or dinner when less crowed. Last time I was there I asked to be moved due to large party making a ton of noise. It’s been a growing issue.
Great service and the bread was very good!
My meal was good. The steelhead was a little on the dry side, but overall good. The wait staff was pleasant and tentative.
From the moment we walked in the door to the smiling, welcoming person at the door, the experience was great! I've been in here before, but the service on this day, just stood out. Our server, Angelica (Hope I got that correct) was awesome. On the spot on everything we needed, and anticipated what we needed next, without knowing. Thanks for the terrific business lunch experience. Can't wait to go back again!. Cheers, KM
