Margo was such a sweet and attentive hostess. We had a wonderful time and will definitely return again! Thank you
Heater did not work in the little "outdoor dining" tent/greenhouse. After several tries, they reseated us inside. Service was slow.
Lovely vibe, great service! Good food but a little pricey for the quality.
Menu is a little simple, but food was good overall. Especially desert!
The bread is fantastic!
The food was amazing! The ambiance was amazing. Overall great restaurant with high quality food. Would recommend to anyone new to the area!
Food was amazing but the kitchen was backed up. We were at the restaurant for 2.5 hours for an appetizer, main course, and desert.
Fantastic food and attentive service. Everything we ordered was delicious, perfectly cooked with fresh ingredients. Highly recommend the pizza which we shared as an appetizer. Chopped salad was delicious, plus the pasta and chicken dishes. I put a note in our reservation that it was my husband’s birthday; when we checked in they wished my husband a happy birthday and they provided a complimentary small dessert with a candle, very much appreciated!
I found out we were charged full for happy hour pizzas after we left restaurant. Were we supposed to specify before we get check?
We got our entrees first, then the apps, then our wine. Entrees came out in 5 mins...
This is a great go-to for Italian staples. I had the Chicken Mario and my wife had the Cacio e Pepe. Both were very good. Service has been a little slower and disjointed since COVID, but will definitely be going back.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and intimate. Our server was very friendly, efficient and accommodating. The food was delicious, especially the roasted garlic appetizer. The entrées included both simple familiar dishes and more substantial classic Italian dishes. The family dining offer is a great value. Had a wonderful night on my birthday. I would defiantly come back again, wish they were located in Minneapolis!
We were asked every 5 minutes if we wanted to package our food to go while we were eating. Then we weren’t warned we’d have to leave soon. So they came to our table and asked if we could leave to seat the next people in a half empty restaurant. The service ruined the experience. Would not return.
I came here with a few of my friends to celebrate my birthday. All of the staff was friendly the minute we arrived to the minute we left. The food was delicious and came very quickly after ordered. Our waiters were friendly and funny. Going back next week!
Great food and service.
The food is outstanding. They also provide wonderful customer service. Natalie and Margo are wonderful. I also love the igloo dining; I feel very safe dining here.
Easter brunch was awesome
Fuimos al brunch de pascua. Costoso. Mala calidad de la comida . El servicio estuvo muy bien.
The food and service was ok. I probably wouldn't go back though with all the other options around the area.
Really loved our experience. We booked a greenhouse with our 2 kids. It was perfect for us as we're not comfortable taking the kids indoors yet. And the food was delicious
The private greenhouse was a great experience and our waiter was top notch.
Had the restaurant week menu—everything tasted old and reheated.
average food, nothing to remember.
We waited for the garlic and bread, which is supposed to be a starter, till the main course arrived and after we asked the server several times for it.
Food was absolutely fantastic. I got the rigatoni and it was the first time I’ve had noodles cooked to perfection in awhile. Moscow mules were also delicious! Highly recommend
We had a perfect experience at Osteria Via Stato! I really enjoyed specifically because of their thoughtful behavior regarding COVID-19 situation!
There were special tents for guests which provided them with a cozy privacy! it was super awesome!
The quality of food was amazing!
Thank you Osteria Via Stato!!
Food was fresh and great. Pasta was phenomenal
Restaurant was highly recommended by bartender at near by pub. Went for restaurant week. Tons of food, but it didn’t wow us. Tuesday is half off bottles of wine night ( but we had to ask the waitress to correct the error on the check).
The food was so amazing and their short rib is to die for!
They have always been excellent. They are coming out of Covid lockdown hell and still need to make improvements
Our Family was at Osteria for Passover dinner. The Passover dinner was served without matzo and none was offered. This was not our first Passover diner at Osteria and at other dinners we had matzo and the matzo dessert and cookies to take home. Maybe it was because of covid but we never got an explanation. There were not any handouts for the Passover service.
The greenhouses were perfect. Beautiful, warm, and COVID friendly. We did the Chicago restaurant week menu and each just felt like our meals were “ok”. The menu did not specify that the soup had any meat in it (and it was my mistake not to confirm) but there was bacon in it which was a disappointing start to the meal.
Perfect for a date night! Food and service was outstanding.
Let’s just say we would not go back
We sat in bar because that was all that was available through Open Table reservations.
It was Restaurant Week so our server was busy and the ONLY person serving the entire room.
Hostess, managers, food runners, etc... all talking and standing at host stand.
We had to ask for everything including drinks and silverware.
We pre-bussed our own table.
The entire time we stared at the same dirty used napkin from previous table that sat on the floor next to our table from moment we sat down until we left.
After Covid, I would think cleanliness would be priority.
The table across from us could not get waited on so they walked out (I wish we would have as well)
My chicken parm was cold and my husbands short rib burnt.
Everything from beginning to end was bad.
Our server kept telling us that nobody will help her and we did feel bad for her (but, that’s not my business) that is her managers business.
My business is to come in and enjoy an evening that I am paying for.
We did not enjoy our evening and will not return.
