Thanksgiving dinner at Ninos was fantastic! Food was amazing, and our host Isabel was great and so kind! Absolutely cannot recommend this place enough.
Was not crowded so we were a bit surprised they lost our order. Waited 20 minutes for our salads. Caesar was delicious. Chicken in my piccata was very bland thought pasta was good. Other 2 meals had high praise. Then waited 25 minutes for 3 desserts. We went to cancel and they arrived with the gelato and panna cotta. The zeppole were still not ready. We took the 2 to go. Our server was very friendly, personable and would want her again. Would be willing to try here again
Service was great….food was very good. Pasta was excellent along with fried mozzarella for appetizer. Ordered veal parmigiana….it was good but not great - veal was too thick. Other than that - excellent. Chicken, ziti and broccoli was good. Will try again.
Food was cold upon arrival. Waiter was very nice, but needed to come back and confirm our order a couple of times.
Fantastic food and service! Our server was new on the job but answered all of our questions and had a great big smile on her face. The food was tailored to our dietary needs (gluten-free), the ambiance was quiet and inviting, and overall just a great place for dinner. Highly recommend.
The “fresh linguine” was actually linguine in marinara sauce that must have been sitting underneath a heat lamp a long time because it was stuck in one big clump. It wasn’t even edible. The past 2 or 3 times I’ve been the food has not been good, probably won’t be going back.
I found it above average. Overall a good experience.
Tasty food and prompt service.
great staff. good food. nice drink list including a well drafted beer list (small but offers something for most tastes). Pizza is the way to go for the orders. Reasonably priced
The food was horrible and the waiter was very snarky. We all thought he was making fun of us the whole entire meal. The food was below average from what I remember it being and slightly overpriced for its quality. The Arancini was supposed to have beef and peas in it and they didn’t have any. The waiter brought out more on him and they still didn’t have any beef and peas in them. Very low quality food and the service was very uncomforting.
It all started when the drinks took almost 35 minutes to arrive. Not to mention a simple glass of water. By the time the waiter came to take our order we had been sitting for an hour since our reservation time. We waited 30 more minutes for our food to arrive only for it to be burnt and smelling like cigarettes. The waiter even promised us a free dessert due to our disappointment, and we never got that either. We couldn’t wait to get out of there. I will not be returning.
I made outdoor reservations, yet when I arrived I saw that outdoor seating was not set up. So we had to eat indoors. I feel I should have been notified in advance.
Our waiter was very nice. Food was very basic Italian-American, not anything I would go out off my way for. I had the veal parmigiana & it tasted fine.
Osteria Nino was excellent! Eggplant parmigiana was very good! A great choice for lunch or dinner!
The cacio y pepe was so peppery it was inedible.
We sat outside on the patio with a barely effective heater. But our server was super nice and the meatballs and the fries were good.
Excellent food, appropriate portions for the price, and best of all, the cold food was cold and the hot food was hot.
Love this place for indoor and outdoor dining. Fabulous food and drinks
I did not enjoy my veal, since half of it was burnt. The truffle French fries were delicious and our waitress was outstanding!
Highly recommend Osteria Nino! Great place for Italian food.
We sat outside but our server must have been new. He brought bread but did not bring plates and silverware. Then he placed our order and when asked for a side of marinara sauce, he brought hot sauce. He took our dessert order, it never came then he came with the check, and we said we ordered dessert? It was then another 20 minutes before the dessert came out. We had finished dessert and then it was another 20 minutes before the check came. It was a LONG night.
The pizza was incredible and it was the best spicy margarita I have ever had. Will be back for sure. Our waitress was incredibly nice as well
We dined here with our two young children (both under 5) - the food was pretty good and the server was lovely, but the outdoor space was empty except for us and two other tables. It was a relatively chilly evening and they refused to sit us at one of the 20-25 empty tables that were next to a space heater, putting us at a table in the middle of the courtyard. When we asked them if we could sit next to a space heater, particularly given that we had our kids and they tend to get cold easier, they refused and told us those tables were all reserved for reservations (which we had also made). We even promised to leave within an hour (with our kids, there's usually an expiration on how long they'll behave anyway), and they still said no. When we left, a few of the tables had filled but about half the tables next to the space heater were still empty. I noticed two other families who showed up with their kids and they were also seated next to us. We won't be dining here again.
Food was not great
Enjoyable outdoor dining experience.
Sat outside on a cool sunny day and had a very nice lunch. Upon arriving, we were informed that the kitchen was understaffed & that food was coming out slowly. We didn’t notice it. Our server Kareem was friendly & attentive and brought us bread with dipping oil to munch on while we waited. He checked with us periodically throughout our meal. We had 2 pizzas & they had nice dough and tasty toppings. Overall a very pleasant experience.
Not for business lunch. Long wait for food. Over a hour. They had some problem at the kitchen.
We ordered drinks and food. We ordered the food when the drinks came. Sometime later the waiter came back and asked us if we wanted to order food. We told the waiter we already ordered. Nearly an hour after we were seated, there was still no food. We paid for the drinks and left.
Very poor service.
Good wait staff and we sat outside. Fried raviolis were over cooked. Otherwise food was good. Pizza was great!
I don't know how the restataurant was, We had reservations and were seated right away. Waited for a server to approach us for 15 minutes. I inquired at the front desk and the host assured me someone would be with us soon. Sat for another 10 minutes and finally left. The servers we saw were busy with large parties and it appeared that no one were concerned with a party of 2. I have worked in the restaurant industry for many years, and the highest priority was greeting a guest within 1 minute. I blame this on bad management and unorganization, probably won't go back. Sorry.
I understand restaurants are understaffed because of Covid. They did the best they could. However my table was probably the only table that didn’t complain (even though we should have). We orders calamari and arancini. The calamari was over cooked and saturated in grease. The arancini didn’t come until a half hour after the calamari and were ice cold in the middle. We both ordered chicken piccata. Instead of it being traditional chicken piccata it was grilled pieces of chicken mixed in with the linguini with a sauce that was more like soup and it was like eating a salt lick. The food was disgusting. In total we were there for 2 hours. We ate hardly any of the pasta and took it home because we felt bad to say we didn’t like it to the waitress and threw it out when we got back to our car. Worst dining experience in my life.
We first ordered fries for an appetizer, waited over an hour for them, they were also ‘out of pizza’ even though almost half of the menu is pizza. Felt really sorry for the waitress as it wasn’t her fault and she had to apologize to the clients all the time but at the same time the wait time was crazy.
Had a fine time at Osterio. We ordered a large pizza and wine. The Service was wonderful and the pizza was tasty. However, we ordered house Cab and were charged $15.50 per glass. We have been to many Restaurants and have never been charged such a high price for the house wine. Not sure where the mistake was made but we spoke with our server who apologized and adjusted the bill to reflect the house wine correct amount!
We waited an hour and 45 minutes for food and never got our appetizer.
Awful experience, 3 1/2 hours to get food, there was staff shortage due to a covid outbreak in the kitchen staff.
Poor customer communication, terrible foo, I will never go here again.
Convenient location, but service / food was outrageously slow the evening we went — extending our visit for at least an hour. Our entrees weren't really worth the wait. Bread was good, though. Outdoor dining seating was plentiful and there was a live band until 8pm or so.
We hadn't been to Nino's in a few months but loved their food in prior visits.
Very disappointing this time! Our meals seemed to be haphazardly thrown together and weren't very good.
Kitchen was understaffed and main courses took 90 minutes to arrive. Manager was dismissive. Would not return.
The restaurant was very nice, we sat outdoors, and the service was great. There were some kids making noise but I’d hardly blame the restaurant for that. My only issue was the food. Some of it was very good but my pasta, cacio e pepe, was a little undercook with a large number of noodles stuck together during cooking. The sauce also kinda just tasted like pepper water instead of a cheesy pepper sauce. Otherwise it was a great time I may return in the future.
We had outside seating - cool weather but the outdoor heaters were pretty and efficient. Nice watching the kids playing in the common area between restaurants. Service was good. With that said, food was average. We had pasta and salad dishes and fried calamari. Just ok. Nothing great, not awful. Indoors might have a more quiet, romantic feel to it. Outdoors was more like a family picnic.
It took forever for our meal to arrive, we ordered basic eggplant and chicken parm. The food arrived cold and waitress disappeared. Won’t be coming here again.
Good food, large portions comfortable atmosphere
