Food was good but a little salty. Service was great.
We loved the restaurant! The rabbit loin, gnocchi, and several other pastas were outstanding. It was a little off the beaten path for us but worth the effort!
Had heard such great things so went for our first visit. Will not go back. Food was mediocre. Some attempt at authenticity but truly fell far short. Kitchen was very slow. Not the server’s fault. We waited for ever for our first course and equally as long to get our second course (while waiting so long for the second course, we watched chef visiting with folks at the bar; maybe that’s why the food took so long!). I suspect Osteria Langhe was better once upon a time, but clearly it needs to get its groove back.
Best pasta with truffle I have had since our last trip to Italy. The pana cotta with cherries was extraordinary. Memorable meal!
Very enjoyable and delicious for a date night!
Fabulous as always! Highly, highly recommend this place!! The Plin appetizer is one of the best dishes on the planet!!!
The food was incredible! What a gem! I immediately came home and made a reservation for next week so we can try more of the menu. The cauliflower and brussels sprouts apps, the rabbit entree and the bread pudding dessert were outstanding!
This is our favorite Italian restaurant! We come here for birthdays and special occasions all the time. Keep up the awesomeness!
Staff was so kind and food was delicious
Make sure to try the plin! Good food, swell wines by the glass, excellent service. Wish i lived closer!
A group of cavemen were seated next to us and ruined the experience.
Millennials talking so loud about their bathroom routines. So gross
Best Italian food
We wanted to order so many things that it was hard to decide what to order, we had scallops, Casio &pepe noodles, Octopus, and shrimp...it was all excellent!
Terrific food, great service. A little noisy.
Such an amazing restaurant. I travel from Naples, Florida just to get a “Langhe” fix. The food is divine, the service attentive and friendly and it’s such a cozy place for a fabulous meal.
FANTASTIC gluten allergy understanding + accommodation; oh my gosh what an amazing meal!!! And such a great server :) really made the evening a wonderful experience. Can't wait to come back!
Food amazing. Ashley our server was outstanding!! Can’t wait to go back!
Amazing food and service was great without being condescending at all! Very kind and informative with wine choices.
The food at Osteria Langhe is always fantastic, and the service is great. The people here are so attentive and caring. It's just a great place to go to eat. Thanks so much!
Great food, ambiance and service! It was our first time there and we would go back again in a heartbeat!!
Lovely experience with attentive staff, incredible food and exquisite wines.
Great white truffle menu!
We have been coming to Osteria Langhe since it opened. We are yet to have a meal that wasn't fantastic. The seasonal menu is lovely now, the duck is perfect. The plin and panna cotta must be ordered every visit.
We sat a long while before getting our main courses otherwise we enjoyed it and would go again mid week
This was our first visit to Osteria Langhe but it will not be our last. We stumbled upon the Tuesday night special - a 3-course menu card for under $40. Our party sampled a range of dishes from steak, to pasta, to all-vegetarian options - everything was delicious, although the pasta is really the standout here.
We loved our experience at Osteria Langhe! I had been interested in trying it for awhile and it did not disappoint. I would absolutely recommend it. My favorite dish was the ravioli with the northern meat sauce. YUM!
Love this tiny restaurant, god and service was exceptional! We loved the family feel and the “ tiny little pillows “ were our if this world. We will definitely be back!!!
What a fantastic dining experience, from the friendly staff to the incredible food and wine options! I’ll be back on my next visit to Chicago!
Lovely. This place never disappoints. The food, wine, ambience and service are all always on point!
outstanding in every way - some of the best good you can get in Chicago, imo
Delicious food, attentive service and amazing wine!
We dined here on Saturday night. We were extremely disappointed not only with the food, but equally as well with the service. The best part of our dinner was our wine selection. We had the hazelnut shrimp appetizer which was fine. We followed that with the gnocchi which was quite bland. Our entree was the short ribs which were gristly, fatty and over cooked. Our server was MIA for most of the night. It took at least 30 minutes for each course to arrive and our server only checked on us once in the entire dining experience. The busboys, on the other hand, were excellent in helping out-filling our water glasses, clearing plates and setting up new place settings. They were so wonderful that I tipped them directly and separately from our server. It's not the most expensive place to dine in the city, but for what they charge, I expect much better food quality and service. We will definitely never return.
I was disappointed with their food. I thought this was an Italian restaurant, but clearly their recipes aren't authentic. Generally also overpriced. They charge $6 for a few slices of common baguette and wipped butter/herbs. I definitely will not go back.
Really wonderful night. Our server was well informed, generous with his time and explained dishes for my gluten free friend. He made an excellent wine recommendation to complement our various dishes from pasta to fish. I was thrilled to find regional Italian food. Most Italian restaurant offer a regional mix, this was focused on the Piedmont region. Portions were appropriate and it was easy to enjoy two courses. (Gnocchi was delicious and I felt the flavors reflected the impending fall season)
Will definitely be back. We were there on a Thursday night, parking was easy, and the restaurant was humming but not insane. (Good energy)
We got here early to try out half price cocktails. The list of 4 cocktails had 2 very boozy drinks and 2 very balanced drinks. It was nice to see the options. I sipped 2 of my friend's drink and had 2 of my own. We sat down for dinner, it was trifecta Tuesday. 3 course meal for $38 can not be beat. I had carne crudo, pesce, and panna cotta. Each was equally amazing. Check this place out on a Tuesday!
This place never disappoints. The wine and food is always incredible and the service can't be beat.
Always amazing. This is my go to place for special birthdays and anniversaries. The food is always inspired and flavors beautifully orchestrated. The staff are always on point and helpful. Thank you, Maggie for the great wine pairing suggestions, and Marcos for attentiveness.
Really delicious. Carne cruda and plin ravioli with northern meat ragu were both outstanding. Nice amaro & spirit list with dessert. Will definitely be back.
A lovely meal. Possibly our new favorite in Chicago. We shared 6 dishes between the 3 of us. Everything was delicious—- a special with scallops, the hazelnut shrimp, a salad, the plini, pasta with meat ragu, and the halibut. We couldn’t pick a favorite. The owner helped us pick out a bottle of wine that matched our taste and it was perfect. We’ve already made plans to return!
